I recently went into this specific dollar general. I purchased (3) different scent cans of glade automatic refills. I had been comparing Amazon prices so I was attentive of the $6 each price tag. I also noticed that each scent was a separate UPC code and that each one had an ONLINE COUPON attached to them for $1.50 off for a total of $4.50 for each refill. I decided to grab (3) DIFFERENT SCENTS so I would get a coupon for each understanding that if I purchased 3 of the same scent then I’d only be eligible for 1 coupon. I also went right on my app on my phone and seen that the coupon was not even online. So I decided to purchase the 3 refills and deal with the discount at the register. Upon arriving the gentleman said he would need a manager for that. I had taken photos of the coupon hanging on their shelf as well as had my phone open for the app. The manager PATTY at first tried to say that there was no discount eligible because it wasn’t on the app. Then she said she would only honor 1 coupon because you can’t use more then 1 coupon on a glade item. I explained that they were all different items and her response was to start yelling “I don’t care what it say. I told you I’m only giving you one” at this point I’m looking at my mother and nephew whom I’m shopping with stunned. Not wanting to argue I completed the sale without incident. While the gentleman took the sale back over after the override. The 2nd clerk working another register offered an apology to us. I accepted and thanked them for the service. Even if I were incorrect. The fact that they are being advertised at that rate on the shelf should mean they have to give me the deal. But even if I were wrong. A manager should have more professionalism than ms Patty did. When another coworker sees your actions and apologizes for you. That’s a sign ms patty.

I love me some Dollar General. I hope this particular store can get it's act straight soon. Very disorganized.. cluttered. I'm sure they will pull it together.

This store is very clean now and it looks like it has a lot of products in stock. Looks much better now. Employees are friendly and helpful. The prices are great. This is my favorite place to get all I need.

Very unprofessional and careless. They should be drug testing these people. Their prices are badly mislabeled and their employees cannot read. After a 5 minute argument, the lady admitted to me she did not understand what the price label said. I still could not get the advertised price, and she acted like it was my fault. I suggest the institution of a competence test, before hiring these addicts.

The normal manager was out on sick leave according to the associate. The difference in the store without the manager is very apparent... cluttered disorganized and overall not a place you want to "browse".

It could be more organized and clean I used to work for the Dollar General and we would of never got away with carts full of freight all over the store

Always are stocked with what I want. Staff always does a good job - store is clean, etc. All around good place, and tax free because it's in Delaware.

Brand new location, on the highway across from food lion. Not downtown anymore. Friendly and helpful staff. Larger than normal sales floor.

The store manager was there the day I tried shopping for hand sanitizer and cleaning wipes. He was very professional in letting me know the timeline to expect more items in the store ✅

Went here to get my dogs their Alpo prime cuts food because foodlion across the street in Delmar shelves are always empty, I knew I could count on the Dollar General!!!
