Where do I start with this review? PrimoHoagies is THE best place for a hoagie. You're not only getting just a slice of bread with some meat and toppings, you're getting a house-made masterpiece crafted with care and perfection. Not only did this taste heavenly, it was reasonably priced! The staff were super friendly and helpful since it was my first time at the restaurant.I HIGHLY recommend to give this place a try if you're in the area. 10 out of 10.Also if you're a fan of chips, I definitely would try their own PrimoHoagies chip's. Tastes just like a hoagie!

Delicious hoagies, Amazing sides. Truly the authentic hoagie-second to NONE. I've recently started having Primos Claymont cater our work meetings and everyone loves the food. The prices are excellent, especially in comparison to other places that used to cater for us. The only difference is the QUALITY of the food!! Jen and her staff are professional, so friendly and accommodating. This place is a gem!!

Today’s hoagie was terrible! The seeded roll had the end cut off because the roll was not fresh and tasted very stale! I also requested extra oil and to cut in half which they chose to ignore! This place is suppose to be a hoagie establishment, you’d expect the roll to be fresh? I’m giving it 1 star because this isn’t the first time that they sliced the end off the rolls cause they were so stale!

Trying Primo for the first time I was incredibly impressed. I got the Turkey Diablo and 1/2lb potato salad. The sandwich was excellent. Very tasty. Loads of meat. Toppings high. Onions thinly sliced which was a nice touch. The roll was seeded and while a tad tough it was still good and could hold up to all the sandwich fillings. There was so much to the sandwich it was almost difficult to get a full bite top to bottomPotato salad was tasty as well. Fluffy dressing with good full flavor, maybe a little vinegar/mustard forward? But very goodI am very impressed for it being a chain sandwich shop. I will be going back. Only downside is parking is a little tricky in that area

Their food is great but they don't accept EBT food and benefits and it's not fair to Americans on public assistance who don't have extra money for food especially homeless people on Snap who only have these places to eat at they need to catch up with the rest of the country !

Since Capriottis started using low quality food, provide 1/2 the ingredients, after they doubled their prices, as I deal with their rude workers and dirty locations, I refuse to go there anymore. PRIMOS IS THE BEST! Their quality is top notch. I tried a tuna sub today and it was the best tuna sub I have EVER HAD. They serve top notch Italian tuna fish at a fair price. Their staff is always nice and quick and this location is CLEAN! When I think SANDWICH, I ONLY THINK PRIMOS CLAYMONT! The new owners understand QUALITY and CUSTOMER SEEVICE! Thank you!

All employees were attentive to every need, and you can taste the love in every meal provided. They exceed my expectations every time. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!Dietary restrictions: Each order had a specific request in regards to dietary restrictions. They paid close attention to every detail and ensured each meal was perfect.Kid-friendliness: I have 2 toddlers who love this place! One whom is autistic and they’re always welcomed! Both were greeted and treated equally with love and care. Each employee was genuine and accommodating.

Horrible! I used to love this shop. Best rolls ever! However, I HATE mayo, and am always careful to emphasize that I want my sub DRY. - NO MAYO. My wife put in the order, I wrote it down for her, and she gave it to one of the FIVE workers there, no other customers. My order says DRY! She brought it home and it had mayo. I've gone there regularly, believing they have the best subs in Delaware. NEVER AGAIN AS LONG AS I LIVE. They couldn't get THE MOST IMPORTANT THING CORRECT! SHAME!

Excellent subs, and fantastic service!!!! The bread was awesome, subs were packed with meat and ingredients, and the flavors were great!!! We saw the sign off the highway traveling and popped in on a whim. I wish we could come back! Great place, and very friendly people! Funny too! We joked about the music playing and had a great lunch. Just an overall awesome experience.

If I could give Primo Hoagie more stars, I absolutely would! My taste buds were treated to a symphony of flavors when I ordered their Turkey Diablo Hoagie. The blend of tender turkey, spicy peppers, and cheese was like a party in my mouth. But what really stood out was the exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond to make sure my order was customized just the way I wanted it. Today April 3rd 5:36pm. It was a lady with grey ponytail and glasses. VERY RUDE. I walked in for my order and I spoke she said nothing, I was forced after my 3 times speaking. She then looked at the order (bag and receipt on it) with my name and made me spell it out which is fine but then made me repeat it 3 times as well. She told them me it will be a while. I’m waiting for nothing because after the younger lady was done she came and gave me the older that been sitting there whole time. I asked for had it been done and older lady said “yes” so basically she had me waiting for nothing. I just felt she was rude from beginning and made me wait for nothing. I work at hospital and me and co workers will never come here again. Not giving my money to rude people like her ! Think it was a race thing to be honest.

Picked up a large order from here and fed my whole staff at Dorcea. Amazing food (we got the platter with ham, turkey and chickens cutlet sandwiches) and an old Italian. Food was awesome, place was spotless, and the staff was on point i was in and put in less then 2 minutes and on my way. Had a very happy work force!!
