This is my favorite Dollar Tree other than the one in Rehoboth and Millsboro. This is a very large store and is always clean. They have every item you can think of and the staff has always been friendly and helpful. I look forward to my visits up North because I always come in here. Great store!

The physical plant of this store is in disrepair in the back. Otherwise I have no complaints about the selection for a dollar 25. There are many many good deals here.

The quality of the products are questionable and there are a lot of items in the wrong spots. The place is somewhat dirty but I got what I came in for. The employees are nice but overall the store could be better

Original review (October 2020) - So many items sold for EXACTLY $1.00. You can't make this stuff up. Actually, you can. But why would you?Update (October 2023) - It is a FACT that prices increased about a year after I submitted this review. It's no longer accurate. Do NOT blame DOLLAR Tree.Thank you friends

No air, no help!! Why are you open? It’s totally ridiculous that your 2 employees have to work under these conditions, how dare you. I am reporting you to license & Inspections. Did not have hardly any family shows and I mean nothing was there hardly. There wasn't hardly any painting stuff kids stuff toys like that. Place was dirty stuff laying all on the floor. There was stuff spilled on the floor by the cards. A lot of places was very very bear. And I didn't get hardly anything I wanted at all....Look alot better. Fuller shelves n alot more.selections.

Had a great value on products. Now since they went up to $1.25, some products aren't such a great value and you can get cheaper elsewhere. Plus now they have items over $5. The potstickers I use to get for $1 are now $5 - makes no sense.

We have been shopping here for years. Always delighted. Staff is friendly and helpful. Seasonal candy and decorations are fun. Even when check out line is long it moves quickly. Always a great experience.

All Dollar stores were terribly understaffed and had low inventories during the pandemic. Things seem to have turned around for the Claymont store. Everyone there is very nice and helpful. They even ask if I would like a cart which I can push outside because I use a cane. That is very kind.On the other hand, the Talleyville store could use a little work. I find many empty shelves and merchandise stacked in the aisles, waiting to be packed out. Times are tough; we all know it.

Customer service is sometimes questionable. Shelves are sometimes not stocked.2/11/22 review. My experience today was awesome. I have to give credit where credit is due and it's to to the staff that was working today! They were patient, personable, friendly and most definitely helpful. The story behind my feelings is long so I'll just say, I rarely give five stars (unless the service is beyond beyond) but I'm giving them five stars today for the customer service and the fact that the crackers I feel I need 😁 we're in stock. I'm in this Dollar Tree often (too often) and this is a first with good customer service (and I've had a really bad experience here like a near death (had a stroke in the store)and no one even checked on or assisted me and my young daughter experience.)I digress sorry it's all positive for today 😉!

I rate this zero star because I was shopping today and at the register I realize i do not have wallet , I kept basket and came back after getting some cash from car. When I checkout again for the three items, I was asked by the lady manager where is your basket ? I said I kept the basket at the store I realized i do not have credit card with me. She is ordering and forcing me to get the basket again and again. I felt little shocked. I then went back to the store and searched for my basket to got the basket and gave her and told this is what my basket. Why customers have to be cheated in this way. This is not the way I am not being treated.

It is a very clean store. Everything is easy to find. The assistant manager Brenda was extremely nice, helpful, knowledgeable, and courteous. Also very patient for many things I was searching for. This store used to be so dirty and things all over the place. Employees not so nice. Now everyone is great! And the store looks amazing! I love shopping here.

I would have to say they stepped up since the last time. My main concern were some of the old employers they were hands down careless, and rude, thank god they have newer ones who seems to enjoy working there and just having an overall positive attitude. I'd like to say thank you to them and for the upgrade in the store!! Very pleased.

I love Dollar Tree but this location seems to be frequently under stocked. I've pulled stuff that wasn't on shelves from boxes they leave scattered around the aisles. It's very disorganized and the checkout lines are frequently very long.

Amber and her colleagues work get together. They keep the lines moving quickly and they have a lot of knowledge about the products sold in this store. She has a great personality that makes you want to come back again and again. 😊

From the outside, the shopping center this store is in looks like a dump. Potholed parking lot with trash and other debris all over. The parking itself is not easy as there isn't much room to maneuver. On the inside, this is a very clean and well organized store. They have a lot of things to choose from no matter what you are looking for.

This store is great! I went to 2 dollar store today. They didn't have what I was looking for. Went to this Dollar Tree. They had, what I wanted to purchase. Plus I found 4 more things that I could use. I didn't have to wait a long time to check out either.

Clean store, well-managed and usually well stocked. Convenient when in Claymont/North Wilmington area.Update: The previous one Dollar price tag has received a 25% increase, almost across the board. Some canned items, 5pks of Ramen and a select few misc items have been spared the new $1.25 tag.The higher pricing seems to have allowed Dollar Tree to stock some quality items that would not likely be there at the lower $/item price point. Definitely worth the nominal increase.Philadelphia Water Ice Company's pints-- available in Mango, Cherry and Hawaiian are a steal at $1.25.Need bagged ice to fill your picnic/travel cooler this summer? Dollar Tree has the best price to be found in local stores. Area supermarkets, Wawa and other Dollar store chains charge in the $3 range while Dollar Tree's $1.25 represents a great value.UPDATE: It's Halloween 🎃 season at Dollar Tree and there's some great items for kids and adults who love the holiday. Skull drink mugs, battery powered spook lights, door skeletons, Halloween signs candy, trick r' treat bags and even mini projectors that display skulls and haunted scenes on your walls all for $1.25.UPDATE #2: For the past 2 weeks, Dollar Tree has been transitioning from the spooky to merry. Christmas-themed crafts, nicknacks, decor, small trees, string lights, holiday dinnerware and candy has taken over the front of the store. If you're in the market for some new Christmas gnomes or Christmas Bulb solar stake-lights, you're in the right place.

Love this store! Dextor one of the cashiers never cracks under pressure. The manager beyond helpful. Love the organized packing....My only complaint hate the bags. They fall apart ...ps. Forgive me for not thanking n giving the entire staff a huge thanks for also being kind n very helpful...I got u MS. Dee. 😉✌❤

I was plesantly suprised when I visited the other day. It had been several months since my last visit and the store looked fantastic. There were only two people in line when they opened another register. Not to mention, the prices can't be beat!
