My entire family got covid from a cashier here. Old white lady coughing on customers last week. No mask or covering her face while coughing! She also seemed to have difficulty breathing and was wheezing. We had not gone out of the house in over 2 weeks and the only place we visited was this store! As soon as I smelled this lady's phlegmy cough I knew were getting sick! No matter how far away I stayed to pay I could smell that horrible breath. She looked like she needed to be in a hospital and not working. Make your employees wear masks or if they are that sick make them stay home! This is ridiculous! Exposing people like that!

I bought a phone charger, checked it in my car for 15 minutes, it doesn’t work. I went back, they refused to return the money, they gave me a credit. I explained that I was from Florida and had to leave in 2 days. It didn’t help. Good variety of stuff. New donated items on the shelf daily. Store is well kept and clean. They have a section in the rear of the store with furniture, workout equipment and bikes.A good amount of DVDs and CDs available to look through. And, of course, a ton of clothes to pick through for the ladies.

My favorite place to shop for used books and clothing. There is a plethora of books, videos, toys, games, housewares to choose from. The electronics are there as well. Wednesdays are a favorite for seniors as they receive 30% of with an I.D. It's only two miles from my temple home, so I go often. Fun just to browse.

Lots of different things to select from. Always loaded with pictures, picture frames, photo albums; my main thing looking for. Just going out on ur own? You could furnish a home with all the different things you find here at this location.

My experience was good but my main goal was looking for boy shirts long sleeve... walked in and all areas were not labeled... finally found the boy area and it was only 2 rows of shirts and 2 rows of boy pants...🤔mostly girl clothes very disappointed in the lack of boy clothes... Pricing was great most stuff wasn't marked with price!!

You will ALWAYS find some type of GOODIE at one or more Goodwill locations, COUNT on that, hey, maybe not today but tomorrow could sport that happy goodie you’ve been looking for & forgot you were even looking for it 🤷‍♂️On top of it all, you will help support those who are much less fortunate then we are, be KIND to each other & make a difference in someone’s life, you’d appreciate that had you been on that side of things, keep your feet on the ground & those who believe they walk a different mile should be ashamed of themselves cause they absolutely DO NOT 🤷‍♂️

Today I had the misfortune of watching two adult women argue over what appeared to be teacup saucers. The potential for violence is high at the Goodwill in Bear DE, for this is not the first incident. Management allows customers to stand in the back of the store and wait for goods to be bought out.This practice facilitates competition, as customers are competing to get first dibs on the items .

The staff is extremely Unfriendly! It seems like everyone who works there has a bad attitude, including the Manager. Made a purchase of something there and asked, 'if something is wrong can we return it'- I asked 2 people this, both said 'Yes, within 7 days" But BOTH failed to mention that YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR CASH BACK -ONLY STORE CREDIT !! SO BEWARE!! Not only did they sale me an item that was BROKE, but I got no cash back. Sad that both employees CONVENIENTLY decided to leave out the fact that I WOULD NOT get my CASH back! I will never step foot back in this place again! Of all places to be shady, a GOODWILL store?? Really! ?

Wonderful bargains, great staff and manager (cindy) at fox run good with. I usually prefer to shop on seniors discount day. (Wednesday, ) they give us seniors 30% off. And their Sunday "color tag of the werk) sale is Wonderful when each thing with the sale color tag is ninety nine cents. ❤ great place to treasure hunt. You never know what you'll find. This store would not allow me to shop because I have a medical condition.I know I do not have to inform them what my medical condition is but I did tell the manager. Cindy did not care that she was discriminating against people with medical conditions. And told me to leave.I will inform the Americans with Disabilities. I do not recommend this store to those that care about the stores discrimination against people with disabilities.

I always find what im looking for but im always disappointed at checkout. I always get the same cashier and she never takes my items off the hangers or folds anything. Once im done paying I have to hurry and take everything off the hanger and fold it myself while there’s a line behind me as she just watches. Pretty rude.. this has happened many times now

Bought something and they would not let me exchange it as it was too small. I was 1 day later than the exchange rule, I had been sick so could not get in. It was not worn and it’s not like they loose any money on this stuff, they get it free. I have donated tons of great clothes in the past. Why is there a rule like this when they don’t give $ back. It would have been an exchange and I probably would have bought more. I will not use those dressing rooms as anyone can see in by walking by them. Also the racks are so full you can’t even look at clothes with out pulling it completely out and then can’t get it back in.

This place is so hit or miss. Items are arranged in typical GW fashion, as in sloppily placed all around in no particular order. The staff could at times use extra help clearing the check out lines. I have walked out of this store more than once because the lines were too long. If you want to see an efficient checkout, look to the ABC liquor store on the same block! Fast & friendly is the name of the game in retail customer service !

I came to shop today and was next in line. The cashier whispers to the other cashier and they talk about how they are only human. The cashier lets the other line fill up while hers is and instead of saying the line is closed she just leaves letting people look stupid and not being an adult. It made absolutely no sense.

For many years Goodwill has been my go to place to waste time on a lazy day. I enjoy picking up treasures from the past that remind me of times long ago. And when I get internet decor ideas, I skip the pricey stores and find similar items at Goodwill. If the idea doesn't work to my satisfaction, I'd rather spend a few dollars here, than a lot more at regular retail. My only gripe is occasional inconsistent pricing.

This is a very nice store. The staff is very friendly and the items are reasonably priced. The store itself is pretty clean and organized. Some items like their game systems, games and DVD's are over priced and you will do much better at the flea markets if this is what you are looking for.Nice selection of women's and children's clothing but not too much the man. Many books if you are a reader nice selection, very few children's toys. Low end on electrical appliances which at time are over priced. Many old out dated TV's cheap. Long check out lines at time so be patient!

It's a good to place to go when you're either a bargain hunter or you're on a tight budget. They have items for the whole family. Sometimes you will find furnitures in great shapes and conditions at cheap prices. I usually buy many of my kid's books there, from fairy tales to scientific experiments.

On $2 Tuesday I was shopping when I couldn't help but notice one of the managers was acting unprofessional. She was obnoxiously loud, and used curse words. She was talking to one of her employee's, very disrespectfully in front of customers and co-workers, referring to her as "the white b****". Which was not only completely unnecessary, but the blonde who was being gossiped and disrespected to, was the only one putting clothes away. I've been shopping at Goodwill for years, and have never witnessed such improper and unmannerly behavior as I did from this manager. I believe her name is Wanda; a middle aged woman, African American, with short hair. I will NOT be coming to this store again. I find it despicable the way Goodwill allows employees to treat other employees, especially when it comes to a managers behavior.

Unfortunately I do not believe that the customers don't get to really see all of the items being donated. I could be wrong but I think the employees keeps the good stuff and put the rest out on the floor. Not fair.I know for sure people donate good items.

As a customer I witnessed the Store manager on 6/9/17 at 7:59pm treat their employee very rude. Cashier was being a team player by helping rearrange some items in the Store while no one was at the register and while I asked what register is open he told the very nice team player lady that he don't want her doing that. The way he chose to say it sounded like he was reprimanding a child. That is unprofessional and poor leadership. It gives me the wrong image of Goodwill. I think I may donate to Salvation Army and patronize them instead.

Rude staff, overpriced, cashier decided to make up a higher price then what the item was marked. We argued for about 30 seconds. I got fed up and left. I will not return after this.

Been in a handful of times on random days, and the store is always in disarray. I know the shoppers here aren't the most conscientious people in the world, but it seriously just looks like a bunch of kids go in there every day and wreck the place. Prices are average for a goodwill, but as another reviewer noted, most of the stuff for sale just usually looks like other peoples trash. Don't think Ive ever even purchased a single thing from there. Not worth hitting for even the most dedicated of thrift shoppers.
