Pharmacy staff at best misinform customers, at worst they appear to have difficulty reading/interpreting their internal pharmacy database, raising concerns of competence and safety regarding refill/dosage of medications. Staff also appears almost aggressively disinterested in hearing about this issue, let alone actually dealing with it (one staff member hung up on me as I was attempting to point t this out, stating there's nothing they can do). Currently on phone with corporate to advise them of this issue as well

Long waits, super confusing rules about how you can get meds, nobody knows anything about stock, prescription isn't ready when the website says it is, they don't let you know when it's ready, lunch hours aren't posted, have been given wrong meds, have been incorrectly charged, will not communicate with CVS Caremark. The workers are nice, but everything else is so bad the only reason I go is because it's the only place insurance covers. I have to drive over 30 minutes to get bad service.

The store was neat and clean and there are everything you need from a drug store.The prices are not cheap by any means,but any drug store in the area isn't cheap.There are self checkout stations and there is always someone up at the cash register.I was just at c.v.s and there brand of lidocaine back patches increased from $10.49 to $13.00 and some change.That is heck of a increase,I hate to see what they charge for brand name back patches and I believe that is overcharging to the max corporate greed 1-paying consumers-0..There prices have increased and there discount coupons have decreased from 40%to 25%.

This place is a DUMPSTER FIRE . I require a certain prescription every month and every month the seem to NEVER HAVE IT IN STOCK !!! I even have my Dr send it over at least a week in advance and they still can’t get it correct . I called Saturday to make sure that they had it Monday I was told it would be ready at 8:30 am on Monday I call Monday they told me an hour it will be ready then I get a text saying it won’t be ready till Wednesday at this point I’m DONE with CVS so sad absolutely pathetic !!!!

Pulaski hwy Bear Delaware store by far the worse CVS next to the kirkwood hwy location. Little to no communication or bad information. The wait time for Pharmacy inside or drive thru is always a minimum of 30 minutes so bring snacks and patience!

I have had good experiences since switch to CVS. The people working the Pharmacy are helpful and courteous. Even if the line at pick-up is longer than normal, the wait is much shorter than I have experienced at other drug stores. They manage all of my prescriptions well.

I would rate it less if possible, the store is fine but the pharmacy is problematic and the person answering the phone in pharmacy should be fired. She tried to over talk me both times and instead of trying to reprocess the approval the first time she wanted to tell me that it was not approved. Even after I said I just spoke to the doctor about it.Another time I was in line for 10-15 minutes and they put up a closed sign after helping the person at the counter. They also over price all the medicine if you look at goodrx, all my medicine is cheaper else and affordable. I see a lot of elderly people there for medication and its so messed up. Riteaid is definitely better.

I only come here for my medicines only because I live right around the corner and I only rate it a 3 3 in a half bc of the trashy area and trashy customers that come in and lurk around outside, they do abide by cpvid regulations and it is a nicer cvs just the area we're in is pretty run down and it just brings the whole atmosphere of the place down...

Ugo the managing pharmacist is always fantastic but watching her give vaccine to an autistic child today gave me goosebumps. Her patience and compassion is inexplicable. Everyone talks about doctors and nurses but Ugo is an unsung health care hero that genuinely cares about people. Best decision I made is switching pharmacies. All her employees are always positive and helpful too.

Be ready to wait for a long time if you choose this location. Make sure you have your patience hat on. This is an extremely popular and convenient location so the lines are always long and there r few staff to assist. Pharmacy both drive thru and inside the store is always crowded no matter what time of day. Most of the staff there are working non-stop and it shows as they appear burned out and overwhelmed. If you ask a question most of them get irritated at having to go check out the issue. Going to other locations (this is the Pulaski highway location in bear Delaware) or pharmacies is not much better so I believe the reason people still patronize this location is because there aren’t many other options or solutions. They send surveys but if those helped I’m sure we would see more changes especially at this location. CVS seems to have bitten off more than they can chew because they’re trying to get all the business but once they get it—they manage it a EXTREMELY poorly.

What a horrible little pharmacy. I hope Rite Aid buys you out, or anyone else. Your head pharmacist is absolutely rude and not even trying to listen to the customer. FYI: Atlantic Apothecary is the best pharmacy I've ever dealt with, if anyone needs a decent place to get their medication. My doctor sent in two supplements to be filled at the counter on Wednesday. Today is Monday. They weren't ready and the head pharmacist rolled her eyes when my husband went to pick them up. The REASON I needed them filled by a pharmacist, and not pick them off your empty shelves, is so my Medicaid will cover it. But I guess my PROFESSIONAL DOCTOR doesn't know as much as some little pharmacist in a failing CVS. You should be embarrassed to be open to the public.

Best brother and sister Roy and Yougo are pharmacists running this place and make it great. They saved my grand babys life when doctor gave wrong medicine. They are nice always happy and even their assistants too. everyone funny, love their job and always help.

For a drug store that is extremely busy, they all work well together and have a great connection. I always enjoy listening to the friendly banter between them while waiting to pick up my medicines and they are always quick with filling it. Professional, courteous and hilarious bunch! They don't let the stress get to them.

Pharmacy is the worst. You can hardly get someone on the phone since the automated system won't allow you to connect with someone in the pharmacy. When you do finally get someone they are of little help. They lost information about my prescription so they can't fill it. Just a routine antibiotic but it has taken days and I still can't get it. Worst pharmacy in Bear.

I never leave a review but this pharmacist deserves one. I can never remember her name but she is a beautiful black lady with a lovely accent and hair. She is the sweetest and kindest health care personel I have encountered. In midst of running around and multitasking, she took some time to calm a crying child down and gave her some candy. I have never seen someone move so fast while paying attention to everyone and every detail. She prevented my mom from mixing 2 medications that could have hurt her last week and she always addresses all her problems. I called the coperate office already and I hope they recognize her hard work and reward her handsomely .

I have had nothing but good experience's here. The pharmacy manager is knowledgeable and thorough and the rest of the staff are all courteous and professional. They could use more help with Covid 19 testing and vaccination. There is always a long line in that area and it's usually crowded.

I have been going here for a few years. The staff is professional and the Pharmacists are friendly and helpful....and very human. Some of the clientele are very rude and loud, and yet when it's my turn I get a smile and great service.

Went here for my COVID-19 vaccination and waited over an hour the first time because the pharmacist seemed to be more worried about talking. Came back for my second one, no one was here but me and one other person and we still ended up waiting over 30 minutes while I heard the pharmacy staff gossiping. If you are looking for convenient and easy this is not the place, but at a least I won't have to come back.

The drive thru line is ridiculous. Only one functioning lane. They need to open up a 2nd or 3rd lane. Staff inside are all nice. Pharmacy supervisor is wonderful and down to earth. She addressed all my concerns and rang out my medications by herself.

This is the absolute worst place I've been in! Two days calling, finally get human in pharmacy, gives wrong directions, 50-50 shot! Thank God for gps! Asked for a manager,she said she was,but had nothing to do with pharmacy! Then proceeds to tell me,store manager name is "Jeff" and she doesn't know last names... Also didn't know if I was at correct CVS, mind you on Sunday they close at 5,walked past 2xs, saying I'll beright w/u . I told her, I don't have time,that I need to know if they have persons profile and stores close at 5 pm . That was after wrong directions and it's now 4:40. Correct place. Scripts won't be available until Monday morning.. . Sh be needed my ID. I told her when her mother comes in Monday, I'll let her know.. She needed my ID even tho she had the scripts behind the counter after walking away! Place is the worst for service, and if the floor manager had a clue on how stupid she looked when making excuses, then telling me she had no clue about pharmacy, phn calls, etc, she might not have said a word!!

I was having a bad day today and Ugo not only filled my prescription in a timely manner, but she also listened to my problems and encouraged me even though it was very busy. I left CVS feeling like I just visited my therapist.

Got a text saying my medication was ready. When I went to pick it up I was informed that it had been filled in Wyoming. Was told to come back the next day as they would transfer it. When I went back the next day the incorrect amount of medication was offered to me. I refused stating that I wanted what was called for per Doctors orders. They told me to come back the next day as they were awaiting a shipment. I went back two days later and they claimed that they were awaiting shipment. Hopefully 4th time's a charm. I feel in the past few months this store is steadily declining.

Best CVS and probably best pharmacy in Delaware. Ugo the head pharmacist is wonderful and knows how to make everyone feel special and seen. The workers are professional, nice and diverse. The shelves could use a little bit more supplies.

Always a problem in getting the prescription status. Either no communication from the pharmacy pro actively or provides incorrect information every time. Will change my pharmacy right away since I don’t see any improvement in their process

They are extremely rude and unprofessional in the pharmacy area. I picked up my prescription and the pharm tech just sent my things through the shoot, didn't ask if I needed anything else or checked with me to see if everything was in the bag...she just walk off. I waited she never returned and I have to say this is the worse experience at CVS that I've ever had.😔😔😔😔 A simple "is everything okay, do you need anything else?" Doesn't cost anything but goes a long way.

A CVS pharmacy with a Chic Fila A level service. I came to pick up my grandmas medication and the pharmacist and her assistants seemed very pleasant. Ugo the Pharmacist is so sweet and said "My pleasure" to every customer. It was insanely busy but when I complained about waiting too long, Ugo promptly apologised, said "I got you" and she had my medication out in a few minutes. Abby her assistant also had great customer service. They did seem a little overworked, running around filling medications and giving all those flu, covid and whatnot shots. They clearly need more help. The pharmacy also looked a little cluttered but it was overall a great experience.

Z the pharmacist as well as most of the pharmacy staff know me by name. Most times they have everything ready for me when the see me standing in line. They are all so hard working and pleasant to be around. Z is an attribute to the CVS team as well as his new female assistant. He will drop what he’s doing if one of his patients needs him. I really missed my CVS in PA but the gang here is sure giving them a run for their money. The only negative comment is the drive thru. People are constantly parked at the drive thru for ten plus minutes. Policies should be reinforced for the purpose of the drive thru. Other than that, I would not think of going anywhere else. Ps. They always smile when they see me and the feeling is mutual. Thank you CVS.

This pharmacy is super busy so the wait time is little longer. Pharmacists are visibly over worked yet they are patient, take the time to answer your questions and treat you well. Kudos to them.
