Store was pretty clean... Not too many customers at all... Most of tfe employees stared at us.. didnt say anything or speak... Just stared... The whole store vibe was uncomfortable... First time yo this acme... But from the outside... And the whole shopping center the vibe is just depressing.. and quiet... Too quiet..... U don't even think they had music playing... But its a grocery store.. a little pricey.. but they always have some good deals.... Not sure i would recommend THIS location.. just not for US... But fully stocked... And nice location

Absolutely the worst customer service i have ever seen in 15 years going to the Bear, De Acme !!!. The woman at the customer service desk, has no skills, very unfriendly. I asked a question and it's like she can't be bothered, no hello, no can i help you, no have a nice day, WOW.I know it's hard to find goodworkers but she has no skills to be at customer service.Another time i asked to lookup an item she replied that i can't lookup an item if in stock, i said how can that be you keep an inventory, she just walked away. Need better worker.

The store is much cleaner than other Acme’s I’ve been to and overall was an easy shopping experience which was a nice surprise. Usually I find Acme to be confusing, disorganized, dirty and very small isles with no room for more than one or two people (plus carts). But this store is spacious and well organized (for the most part). The staff was not nice to me but hey, I can let that go, we’re in the middle of a pandemic and they’re essential workers. Overall, I’d recommend this Acme over many other locations (including Suburban Plaza & College Square).

I love their produce section here, as well as the meat and seafood departments. They always have good sales, and you can save more by clipping deals on their app.

I love the justforu savings program. Great rewards. The store looks much better and cleaner since the remodel. Most employees are very helpful, unless you ask the temp kids.

I am extremely disappointed with this Acme. My husband went to pick up some items for dinner. As he proceeded to checkout and pay for his items there apple pay reader was having issues. Now what they don't know is I myself was just there a week prior and they told me their machine was having issues with apple pay. I just paid with my psychical card. My husband tonight on the other hand, did not have the same experience. The rude unprofessional cashier said to my husband " do you even have on there'? EXCUSE ME? Unbeknownst to her I was in his ear on the phone. My husband makes 6 figures lady! How insulting!! Anyway, he said of course I have money is there something wrong with your machine? Another unprofessional comes up to him and says " ARE YOU TRYING TO USE WIC"? Umm NO! WE ARE TRYING TO PAY WITH VISA! UNBELIEVABLE!! So another cashier says she will ring him up in the customer service line. Ok, fine.. When he walks over she literally said it just does that sometimes. We've been having issues with our reader with apple pay. That's all fine and dandy.. But why was my husband humiliated in the store for a problem your store is CLEARLY AWARE OF!!! UNACCEPTABLE!!! After holding up a line due to no fault of his own, he left and simply ordered the food through uber eats and had it delivered with the same card your reader couldn't read. My husband deserves an apology from someone, management or something. Teach your staff the proper way to handle these situations. Yelling out do you even have money on your card is unacceptable! I manage a team of 50 ppl. They all reflect me! Make your staff aware of technical issues so that they can be handled properly! I'm glad I wasn't there. You will not embarrass me because of your mistake! Train your staff, they are unprofessional and rude!

Absolutely ridiculous customer service!!! Arrived around 7:35 and proceeded to the seafood cabinet in the back of the store... ran into the worker of this area asked him if the steamer was on still? He replied that it was just shut down and then my family and I proceeded to attempt to buy some frozen crab legs but were told we couldn't because there wasn't anyone capable of weighing or packaging one of the most expensive items of food the store offers (do they truly offer it though?) All of this information was presented from the manager... we live right across the street and have been coming here for years but will no longer be spending our money at this establishment! If I could give it minus stars I would!!!!

Nobody was in meat dept today at 10 am. Even after being paged that we needed help. The steaks that were out were all cut too thin. Guess I'm doing burgers on the grill tonight 😞Update 3/16/24No chocolate roll cake and no local scrapple. Meat dept was a joke today. Will not be returning to location.

It’s neat and clean, nice meat options .The cashier guy was very nice but damn it’s expensive in there lol. Guessing that’s the price we pay for neat, clean, variety, and customer service. Either way I’ll be back.

I’ve been going to Acme for years and even with my mom growing up. I don’t understand why now with the whole bring your own bags, they still have paper however no help is giving what’s so ever with bagging. You are bagging your own food now and then when you’re not fast enough they still don’t help and start taking the next person like you’re inconveniencing them. Acme do better! Food lion even bags your food at least and will help when you bring your own.

A nice store that meets my basic needs. You'll find all the American staples here. The produce is presentable. I can't speak of the meat department, since I don't partake of such. Large selection of snack foods. Sesonal items are provided. Overall good experience.

It was Christmas Day Morning, I needed a couple items to complete by dinner I prepared for the holiday. Acme was open from 8am to 11 am Christmas Day. There were about 30 customers when the doors opened. The staff were helpful and the electric carts were fully charged too. Thank you Acme Markets for saving my Christmas Day Meal !

Their selection is very good. The store is always clean and organized. But their prices are consistently 10 to 20 percent higher on a wide variety and majority of goods when compared to the food lion that's less than 1 mile down the road. They often have long lines and too few cashiers but the workers they do have are always pleasant and helpful. Produce and meat selections are better than most any other grocery in the area. Selection is much better than the aforementioned food lion... but the prices are just too high comparatively.

I went in looking for rice cakes and I looked up there was a aisle sign rice cakes .I went down the aisle found the item and off to the check out to pay for the items.I was out in 8to 10 minutes and acme market was a good help.I stopped in for rice cakes and they turned out to cost .50cents more than food lion,

It was my first time shopping at this grocery store and I was pleasantly pleased. The shelves were thoroughly stocked and surprisingly, I checked out with a cart full of groceries that didn't cost much. The (2) young lady cashiers were hard working and kept me laughing 😃.

I shop at the Fox Run location on occasion. On this particular visit I was shamed in the checkout line by the check-out clerk for not returning the hand basket to the front of the grocery store. On my visit, I came into the store and the entrance I used did not have any carts located on that side, I had a little one in toe and needed a few items so I grabbed a basket located next to the entranced doors instead. My toddler and I shopped for the items we needed and then went to checkout. At the checkout line, the clerk rang up the items I had and I bagged my groceries. While I was bagging my groceries, the clerk pushed the basket onto the area I was bagging and told me to put the basket back as well. I politely declined and I mentioned that I have several bags and a toddler's hand to hold as my little one was a bit more active on this shopping trip then usual. The clerk got an attitude with me and the experience was severely uncomfortable from that point on. The clerk just persisted to glare and give nasty facial expressions and almost making a scene of it. She even raised her voice at me when she told me the amount due. I paid and said thank you and left.I probably would have just returned the basket if the circumstances were different however that wasn't the case for this shopping trip and I am shocked at how the situation was handled. Acme is not a budget store. Acme is more expensive because they are supposed to have a higher level of quality and convenience. We pay the higher prices the store sets and to have that bad of customer service is awful. Even at a budget friendly store I don't believe the way the clerk chose to handle the situation was acceptable.With all of the local grocery store options in this area, I will be shopping at their competitors in the future.

My husband was promoted and needed food & cupcakes for 75 people by 48hrs for a pinning ceremony. I was so delighted that Acme said they could do it in that short of time. Everything turned out wonderful and the food trays were delicious.

I find the ACME to be a well stocked store with a very nice variety. The customer service is a mixed bag. One employee engagement was super nice, and made an effort to help me. Another employee who I asked where the water is as he was stocking shelves never turned around to talk to me and he gave me the incorrect aisle number. I also find the prices to be much higher than other supermarkets in the area. You will find plenty of items to choose from.

I swear it doesn't matter what acme I go to there is always a problem. How does your WIC not abide by the Delaware WIC program. I'm eligible for a 32oz container of yogurt and none of the eligible brands would work except a random yoplait tube yogurt. Wasted my whole moring for nothing. The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is for the workers because they were at least nice and tried to help. But acme as a whole sucks on most occasions anymore.

Just stopped in to buy some bagged ice. One of the few places that still had bagged ice available (most places sold out). Store was not crowded. Masks 😷 were still mandatory when I was there. Felt good, comfortable & safe inside store.

Don't advertise that you're open till 10 o'clock and have it posted on the front doors that you're open till 10 o'clock if you're not gonna allow people to buy stuff from the deli or the seafood department after 8 o'clock. Lazy employees gossiping behind the counter but look at you crazy when you come in during operating hours to buy stuff. Customer service and common sense are things of the past at ACME.

The most expensive grocery store around. Only buy things when they are on sale and still check the prices elsewhere before buying at Acme. Aisles are crowded with stuff, so only one direction for traffic 🙄They do have good deals, but you need to be smart about it.

Deli Dept. Sunday 11/7 12:30 p.m. I took a number (63) and saw #52 was being served. I observed 4 employees behind the counter. Two were tending to #'s 51 and 52 with 11 waiting. The other two were busy filling online orders. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? A lot of people waiting right in front of the deli counter and filling online orders gets priority?? I waited 15 minutes and left. #58 was being served only because 2 previous called numbers went unanswered. (#55 was still being served). It was apparent that it was going to be another 15 - 20 minutes before I would get served. UNSATISFACTORY. I went to the Customer Service Counter in the front of the store and there is only one person there. I'm 4th in line....being patient.... The first 2 customers were taken care of in a timely matter. The customer in front of me needed to send a Money Order. The involved procedure for placing a Money Order takes more than 5 minutes. Only one person at the Customer Service Counter?? UNSATISFACTORY. I left..... Frustrated. I've got better, more important things to do than stand on lines due to inefficiency.
