I’ve been bringing all my animals to the Woodstock Veterinary Clinic for years. They are extraordinary and treat your animals as if they were their own. I had a cat with many health concerns and they always made the time to see him when necessary. I wouldn’t trust my babies with anyone else! Dr. Pastorello goes above and beyond!

My 9 year old Golden needed knee surgery for a torn ACL. Dr Mitterling made the process easy and they gave great educational information. It was expensive, but most veterinary things are and my pet insurance covered most of it thank goodness. The techs at the clinic are all friendly and helpful.

I was so great full for this office and their employees. I brought my newest rescue dog in for her Spay surgery. They made sure she stayed comfortable, kept me updated throughout the day on her progress, and were so informative when I picked her up on after care and medications. I've taken my Yorkie here twice.The Staff & Drs were so polite, caring & Professional!Cost wise in my opinion is expensive no matter where you go, however, of all places he's been taken too I will bring him here as like I said these people actually Care about & treat their patients as if family not to mention call to see how they are doing after which is truly appreciated!

My dog was so sick & they wouldn't squeeze me in for appointment. Said they work 1/2 days bring her to Sturbridge. This place is so uncaring & I left that vet & had her paperwork transfer to her new place that got me in right away& took very good care of her.

They were able to take my dog in for a check up for her uti within days of calling. My own vet wouldn't squeeze her in until end of August even though we have been going there for many years. They didn't even fax over my dog's records as promised. Woodstock veterinary clinic is our new vet from now on. They are reasonably priced and take great care of their patients. Thank you so much

They took such good care of my 2 dogs while I had them. Had to put both down in November, 19 days apart. The staff was caring & sent condolence cards with their personal condolences to me & my daughter for both dogs.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Recently brought my dog in for an emergency visit for what appeared to be an infection in her eye. Our primary vet was closed as it was a Sunday, so we decided to take her here. After keeping our dog from 9am-2:00pm, it was concluded that there was nothing major going on and that it was suspected allergy from caterpillars.. mind you.. it’s snowing and December. Caterpillar sightings are slim to none. Anyway, they sent us home with a low end anti inflammatory medication and charged us almost $400.00... I COULDN’T BELIEVE IT! Outraged is an understatement.I contacted our primary vet yesterday and let him know what was going on and I’m so glad I did because our dog has a bacterial abscess that is now being properly treated, no thanks to the negligent staff at this clinic. I will NEVER be back as they neglected to treat our dog properly and essentially stole $400.00 from us. Do yourself a favor and avoid this clinic at all costs.

Great vet. I have used them for regular check ups, and for an emergency. When my cat got sick, they took me in that day and were able to admit him for surgery that evening. They were with me every step of the way during his challenging recovery, and took him in after hours when there were complications. They were always available to answer my questions, called to check in to see how he was doing, etc. Highly recommend the staff here, they clearly care so much about the animals they treat.

I recently had my first trip to Woodstock Vet. Being used to Putnam Vet, the experience was eye opening to say the least. The staff was very interested in my pet (imagine). All of my concerns and question were addressed up front on a professional manner and my dog was treated with high quality, caring hands. I am so glad I made a switch.

A great little place. After I got my dog we were looking for a new veterinary clinic. We had experience at the place in Putnam. Here in Woodstock, you never have a bad experience. They remember you every time you call. They remember your pets.

I'm not one to leave reviews, but I'm so happy with the service here. I bring both of my cats here. All of the staff are very helpful and friendly, and the Vets are very intelligent, kind, and great with animals. Their passion for them shows through their work. They are also reasonably priced! I will recommend this place to anybody looking for a great vet that genuinely cares about their patients :)

Dr Grove, doesn't respond to emails... or calls especially when your dog is vomiting blood after a visit there. Emailed her 3 times... her response as to why she didn't respond was she was off those 3 days. They are so busy... information doesn't get relayed. Misty also never calls people back... which made us miss an opportunity to get him in faster!

We recently rescued a 10 year old Shih Tzu and were in need of a great local vet. We made an appointment with Woodstock Veterinary Clinic, and now I'll never go anywhere else! They were phenomenal with our old girl! We had no history on the rescue and she appeared to have a few health issues, so I had a lot of questions. Everyone there was patient and professional, and guided me with great information for a senior rescue. My girl is doing great now and I couldn't be happier with our new Vet team!

We have two pets that were treated for 3 years here. Very unhappy with our experience over the last 3 weeks. We have found a new veterinarian that exceeded my expectation and loved our puppy when Woodstock Veterinary callously dismissed us several times over several weeks. Woodstock Veterinary clinic was our vet for our cats. It's alway difficult to get an appointment but no other issues until we got a new puppy & for 3 weeks we have been trying to get seen to get a clean bill of health check. He is 11 weeks old. They couldn't fit us in until December? They called with a cancelation appointment for the 14th of this month. We called them yesterday for an emergency appointment because the puppy started limping hard on his front leg and whimpering. He was super sad. They refused to see him and totally dismissed that the puppy was in distress. They told us to wait until the 14th for his appointment. The puppy progressively got worse throughout the day. Called them again. Still not interested in seeing him. We called another clinic where he is not a patient that not only made time to see him but stayed open after they closed to care for him. Our 11 week old puppy had Lyme disease. He's a large breed dog, so a big puppy. Very disappointed in Woodstock Veterinary clinic's staff for not caring. We will move our other pet to the new provider that not only cared but went out of their way to listen to my 10 year old son explain how hurt the puppy was. Best part? New Vet called me today to check on his progress since yesterday. My next call was to Woodstock Veterinarian to cancel the cat & dogs next appointments and to tell them to get their medical records together because we are moving them to a place that cares and treats us the way I believe we should be treated and cared for.

I have been bringing my dogs here for about 6 years now. Even though the office had changed hands, the service, personal attention and pricing has not changed. Their care is EXCELLENT as well as thorough and price is reasonable as far as vets go. I would recommend to anyone.

Zero stars. Zero stars. The vet refused to take any care of our dying in pain cat bc she wasn't a patient. They refused to help and unfortunately our car died on the way to another vet. We live close to Woodstock so we thought it would be better to take her to the closest vet bc of an emergency. We were wrong! SHAME ON THIS VET!! You let our cat suffer longer bc of paperwork. ZERO stars. May God have mercy on the souls of the animals that are brought here

I wouldn't go anywhere else! I have both cats and dogs and Woodstock vet has been their primary care for some time now. Recently, we had the unfortunate experience of buying two sick puppies. Dr. Coderre and the Woodstock team were right there with us every step of the way. I cant say enough good things about this team , the quality of care, knowledge and willingness to partner with us for the good of the puppies. Made a bad situation easier and I will always be grateful for this.

Was referred by a friend and happily travel an hour to bring my bunnies to see them. Great staff and they don't run your bank account dry. Would definitely refer them to others.
