absoloute best chocolate milk in the world! real chocolate milk too not fake flavors. it's a little more expensive than the other brands but totally worth it. and comes in a fancy glass bottle u can get a $3 deposit on. they also sell it at Big Y in Plainfield CT, as well. which is nice because that's a lot closer to me. and they still get the business with big y so they're still supported from buying there. if u haven't tried it you should! it's elm farm Peckham family since 1885 farm to table pasteurized chocolate milk. and it tastes like a cross between melted chocolate ice cream and a milkshake chocolate milk hybrid and is super rich and delicious 10/10 would recommend. I buy 2 half gallons at a time because I will drink one in about 2 or 3 hours because it's so good! you can also use it to make the best chocolate ice cream you'll ever get. and you only need a little heavy cream salt and ice.it has the rest. possibly a little extra cacao powder and sugar since heavy cream will dilute it but it might not even need the cream.witht he thickness of it I'd say it's somewhere between whole milk and raw milk fat content and cream percentage wise. anywyas definitely worth the purchase!

Beautiful views and great place to sit and enjoy their homemade ice cream.Love their fresh milk in a bottle, Polish sausage, venison beef jerky and a lot more produce and vegetables to choose from.Family farm so don't expect lower prices as everything here is grown and fresh off the farm.

Very friendly people in a quaint farm store atmosphere. A very large selection of farm meats here along with eggs, milk and other dairy products. The smiling faces that greet you really makes this place a hidden gem in the country side.

This is my favorite grocery store!!! You'll find something for every occasion...honey sticks and stickers for kids, pumpkin bones for the dogs, fresh ice cream, the BEST eggnog, and the only milk I'll give my family (love the glass jars, tastes sooo much better). Buy local, and get the health benefit of fresh!I also LOVE that you can pet the cows and see how happy they are--great, interactive way to help kids learn where milk comes from!

Homemade fresh ice cream. They also sell their own meat, dairy and a variety of huge peanut butter cups! Lots of jams, jellies and some very unique items, just what you would find in a country store. There is a new structure for the 🐄 cows so if you want to venture out to talk with them, be my guest!

Best milk and meats around..family run, treats their customers like family. My 15 month old son gets sick from 99% of milk but yet can drink milk from here with no issues and he absolutely loves it!! So now we come at least twice a week..also the tomahawk steak is to die for, worth every dang penny! Once u shops here won't be able to go back to eating that junk meat from the local grocery store lol..you are what you eat, your body will thankyou..

Very friendly and helpful family-farm shop with their own meats plus local food products from other small businesses and farms. Their sausage is fantastic (probably the best breakfast sausage that I have ever had). Note that this is NOT a produce stand.

Great little place! Friendly staff, reasonable prices and wonderful selection of items. They have farm fresh eggs of many varieties and milk and coffee milk as well as some of the nice and typical country store items. Plus, the milk bottles are glass and refillable, so less trash to clutter our planet! Also, you get a paper bag if you need it.

The best ice cream I have ever had.Great location to hit on a bicycle ride, old car ride, or motorcycle. Local fresh produce, eggs, their own milk.. sold.in the bottle... from their own cows out back of the farm stand / store. Their own beef products and specialty salami and cured meat. Very high quality. I can eat their pepperoni, salami, etc and not have that gross feeling in my stomach that I just consumed grease and fat that you get when you eat the same from the grocery stores.Last... the ice cream truly will be at the top of the list for any you have had in your life. It is that good.Note... yes... you will pay a little more than a big box grocery store, but as the owner said to me... I know exactly what my dairy and beef cattle are eating. Given the freshness, qualiry, and flavor profiles, one really is not comparing apples to apples. I mean... by way of example, their milk is milked from the cow, bottled and sold before most big box store milk even leaves the milk factory.

My supervisor recommended this place and he wasn't wrong. Being a city guy this was a first for my kids and I and we loved it. Their Apple Pie and the Everything Bacon was awesome we bought.

Amazing milk, ice cream, eggs, meats, you name it! I go there almost weekly driving more than an hour up from the shoreline to get their fresh milk and eggs (and their amazing ice cream), and am so happy that Woodstock has this! If you want to support local business and have amazing farm-fresh foods and drinks, this is where you need to go!

Fantastic farm to table products. Milk and ice cream to die for. One taste and you will never buy big box store milk or ice cream again. Not to mention, you are 'Doing good by doing yourself well'. Supporting a local family operated dairy farm means one get to enjoy and participate in preserving wonderful farm view vistas, and not just more housing subdivisions / urban sprawl. We still need the outdoors and open spaces to teach our children to hold special open spaces.

I saw on PBS TV documentary on the farm and the family, was really interested in visiting. Some and the wife said let's go vist.So we left Westhartford and took a drive out to the farm.Great people, we thank them for kindness,and great food products,great milk chocolate and regular milk out of this world.meats,pies,breads fantastic. Folks from Connecticut you must vist, you won't be sorry. Husbands take your wife and kids there to see the Cows,they will love you for it.
