I long for the Agway in simsbury... On a recent (and my final) visit I wanted to purchase grass seed to plant In early spring, they didn't get theirs in till late May (not out of stock, simply hadn't arrived yet for the season) and were not only unapologetic but didn't care to recognize why that's important for an Agway to have at the right time. Clerk never leaves her perch at the register and the place reeks of cigarettes. There are plenty of places that care, they do not.

Great folks. They carry almost any gardening/ag supplies you can imagine. A little pricey but always top quality product and service. Highly recommend.

Great selection of birdhouses with copper roofs and colorful poly wood materials in many sizes. There's lawn furniture made of the same durable material. A place for all of gardening needs and things you never you needed. Also have pet food and chicken coops along with a variety of farming supplies.

Terrific service! This was my first experience with Green Acres. I had a pallet of mulch delivered and the driver, Jeremy, couldn't have been nicer or more helpful (he even refused being tipped!). Will definitely be a repeat customer.

I come here for food and supplies for my chickens. They have a good selection of products.Two issues: one is that their hours aren't that great to begin with, and it's happened that I've been here at the time they're supposed to open, and no employees are there yet. Waited 10 minutes and still no one. I had other things to do so I had to leave; no idea when anyone decided to eventually show up.The other is that depending upon who is working, you may walk in and find yourself enveloped by the overwhelming stench of cigarette smoke. Not pleasant at all.

You know, you tend to forget that Agway is more than just a feed store. I needed some things for the yard and I figured Agway might have everything in one stop, I was right and they did. Staff was more than helpful as well.
