Walsh’s is such a gem! I love that’s it’s a small, family owned market. I live minutes away so I shop here frequently. The store is very clean & all of the staff that I’ve encountered are friendly and helpful. I have not had any issues with any of there products or produce. They have a ton of grab and go items and deli makes some of the best grinders I’ve had in a while so that’s a plus too!

I love Walsh’s. It’s clean, affordable, and has friendly employees! I’m not sure what the other person’s problem with the produce is but I haven’t had any overwhelming issues with produce here and if I have ever had a problem or needed anything I just spoke to the service desk and they’re always amenable!

DO NOT BUY PRODUCE HERE!!!! Every time I've made this mistake it's either rotten or half eaten by bugs. The last straw was the completely moldy shallots I bought the other day- shallots take a long time to get moldy!! And the dry/frozen goods are simply not worth the price.

REALLY CLEAN,STOCKED EXTREMELY WELL.THERE IS JUST ONE ( ITTY BITTY) ISSUE I HAVE SONARED IN ON.THE CASHIERS LOOK AT YOU WHEN YOU WHEN YOU APPROACH THE CHECKOUT REGISTER ,AS THEY ARE EXPECTING YOU TO VAULT OVER THE CHECKOUT BELT,AND TAKE THE REGISTER,AND FLEE THE STORE!!!!!!¡!!!HAÀAAAAAAAAA!!¡! VISIT THE STORE SOMETIME,AND WHEN YOU CHECKOUT OBSERVE THEIR BEHAVIOR,ITS CREEPY!!!!!!! MANAGERS UP FRONT ARE THE SAME WAY.THEY ARE IN THE ( CHICKEN COOP) STARING AT YOU LIKE YOU ARE GOING TO RUN OUT THE DOOR WITH SOMETHING.HAHAAAAAA!!!! Bad for delivery ,unfriendly people ,wrong products delivered, completely their schedule ,spicy Italian dressing for my coleslaw they promised a unique individual experience was it ever, never again . Go inside if you want it, forget delivery also charged higher than advertised including the fee.

My go to supermarket right up the hill from my home. I love the small town atmosphere here that you won't get at stop n shop or walmart. They always have everything on my grocery list. I really enjoy the fresh sushi made on site. The gentleman is so kind to make me a fresh spicy shrimp roll everytime I come in.

I absolutely love this store. The staff is ALWAYS so pleasant and helpful. I never had a bad experience. They have a fresh salad, fruit and hot foods bar with amazing soups. It took one day to get the yogurt I wanted! I'm even more excited that I love so close now right in Southington. Thank you....so much for your outstanding service!!!

Usually delicious made to order grinders... Tonight we ordered two grinders and the roll was petrified stale!!! Like eating leather foam..... Hope it's just a one time thing!

I always have an excellent experience at Walsh's Market. They have everything you need in a small space so you don't feel like you are walking the length of a warehouse to do your shopping. Everyone is friendly, and the prices are reasonable. The sale prices are always really good. The quality of the meat is outstanding as is the produce and the home baked goods.

Can't beat the deli meat and prices. Fresh baked goods are excellent. little store to get through quickly. It is an IGA so prices for shelf staples tends to be a bit more. Check produce carefully though, especially store packed produce. Several times I found the fruit (grapes moldy, cut fruit bowl) was rotted or spoiled as soon as I unwrapped it (same day).

Local small grocery store with an excellent deli. Lines are never long and staff is helpful. Great for major name brand items, not so for niche items. They also offer a service counter and bottle returns. Daily a la cart food makes it a great place to stop for lunch!

Great store. Amazing people work there. This store really cares about their customers. If they don't have what you are looking for they will have on your next visit. I love this store I am in there all the time. Everyone should stop in and see for yourself. They take great pride in this store. Amazingly clean no matter were you look.

Great small grocery store with decent selection. The meat department is great, prices are reasonable. Locally made sausage, baked goods and fresh produce and flowers/plants are a plus. Some items are slightly more expensive but I’m glad to see an IGA that gives the superstores a run for their money.

The employees are helpful and friendly. The deli has a hot bar and salad bar. The hot bar usually has food that was fresh made by the staff. (lunch and dinner times) They often have fresh made pizza. The owner goes out of his way to learn customer names.

Walsh’s is a great local market, the owner and all of the employees are super friendly and make it a great place to shop. Be sure to visit the deli where you can get a delicious sandwich made to-go, they also offer catering with a wide variety of choices to choose from!

They have a good and fresh hot and cold salad and lunch bar with three different soups every day at very reasonable price. It is a typical neighborhood IGA, prices are higher than the bigger grocery stores. They are convenient and necessary for the neighborhoods their in though.

Love this family owned store. Sale prices are good, other prices are reasonable. Probably could get groceries cheaper elsewhere, but I would rather the friendliness than the hustle bustle of bigger stores.

I called Walshes this morning hoping to get food delivered ASAP to a friend who lost her husband. Roberta in the deli department couldn’t have been more accommodating! Within a couple of hours she delivered the food!! Thank you so much Roberta!!

I am giving Walsh's Market 4 stats largely because of their prepared foods section. The rest of the store in terms of price, selection, cleanliness and service is more like 2.5-3 stars. But back to the prepared foods section! Mamma Mia! You have to come around lunch time when it's fresh and try it. Cheers!
