This was my first time visiting this Dollar General, and that's probably weird to most considering that it's only about a mile from my home. In all honesty, my experience with dollar stores in general is that there's a lingering smell that I've never been able to discern but it triggers my allergies, stays on my hair and clothes, and this store isn't any different. Scanning the extremely narrow grocery aisles, I found a few bargains, but not such deep discounts that I'd buy the products. In addition, I recommend that you look at the expiration dates: most things at this store, especially the things marked down the furthest, expire either this year (it's 10/29/22), or early 2023. So what's a dollar? Not much in groceries beyond their own brand, Clover Valley. I may return one day to check out other things beyond groceries, but for now, I've seen and smelled enough, even with my mask on.

Some guy who was building shelves and showing people how to stock the shelves was singing very sarcastically how much he loved Dollar General. Cashier was very friendly and cheerful and gave me some helpful advice with the digital coupons. All in all people were funny and cheerful and it was pleasant to go to.

great staff, clean store, good selection of products. masks were worn and social distance was practiced. staff works very hard to stock and check out customers in a fast yet friendly manner.

The prices are good here, however, on my recent visit, the store manager (I believe this middle-aged man was the manager) was spewing anger and vulgarity about Joe Biden. One would think one would learn that is bad business. Not everyone has the same opinions and not everyone likes to hear crass talk while shopping. He must be emulating his hero Trump, but it's bad enough to get it from DC. I certainly don't want such base talk in a local store. Shame on him and shame on Dollar General.

Dollar General is competitively priced and has a WIDE selection of department store type product. The staff is always very nice. Its a life saver when your in a bind and don't want to drive out of Wolcott to go to grocery store or spend 20 minutes in a Walmart. DG branded stuff is generally good quality (I actually prefer their batteries over other cheaper brands) and I wont hesitate to get DG branded grocery products either. I highly recommended going in and getting what you need. My only note is avoid Friday (after work) and Saturdays during the day as they can often get an influx of customers with a back up line especially with the social distance spacing now.

Always find what I need. Only place I can find my dog her treats she likes! Big change from a year ago. Every one is very friendly and helpful!

Dollar General is getting better. I can walk the aisles now. They have everything neatly stacked throughout the store now. I always love their products and their prices.

It has the unusual stuff that you have a hard time finding and they have everyday stuff cheaper than other stores! I just wish it want soo messy and I havent been in one thats organized!

Overpriced. A dollar store marketing research put into more deceptive measures. I suppose if u open a lemonade stand called "free lemonade general" technically you should do good buisness. What's free? A smile with every sale 2$general dollar lemonade.

The manager Steve constantly yells at his employees throughout the shift. He is also very rude and shouldn't be a manager of any store. He doesn't never have a mask on when I come to the store.

They owe me over 6k for snow plowing in 2016. And burned the new guy this year as well.. so I am stating their prices are low because they don't pay their bills.not cool

Lately not finding what i need at the dollar general closest to me. So i have to go to a different one sometimes 2. This is annoying but i love dollar general. I will give it awhile to see if it corrects its self.

Always stop there for one or two things and leave with 5 or 6 items . The store is clean and very well organized!
