Pretty awesome that you can bring your dog here and clean them. All the convience without the mess because the mess stays there! The staff were helpful in showing us how to work things as well as being patient and kind. You can't beat the price when you factor in using the facility, the water, soap, conditioner, clean towels and a dryer for $10!! We also bought some other items that were priced about the same as other pet stores. We are so happy we can affordability clean our golden without the mess at home or high price of a groomer.

Great service, friendly staff. Groomer was so nice and welcoming. We brought our two dogs there this afternoon and washed them and then afterwards went to the groomer for a nail trim. She was absolutely amazing our timid dog was able to get his nails trimmed no problem! Definitely will be returning regularly.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. The dog washing station is great. Warm water! Soap, towels and treats provided. Gentle blow dryer. Out the door for $10. Great value. I go one to two times a month.

I brought one of my dogs in with me one evening to get something for my other dog. The dog I had with me was terrified, and the girl working was so patient with us, helping me find everything I needed and more. I will definitely be back to Pet Valu instead of going to Petco! So much more inviting, and the employees are very knowledgeable and more than happy to help!

Not happy. Made an appointment to have the dog groomed weeks ago. Waited through June said they could do early July. Showed up and was told groomer retired three weeks ago and I have an appointment to self wash my dog. They could have called me and told me and I wouldn't have wasted my time. Employee was insistent, all the while not wearing a mask. At least give me the courtesy of a call and tell someone the groomer no longer works there. And wear a mask. Good grief.

Pauline "groomer" is amazing. I've had dogs for almost 20 years. She has done an amazing job with my girls and boys (Standard Poodles) over the last number of years. Perfect cuts everytime. Does it with love and compassion for each and every animal. My dogs love her. Five Star Rating for her.

The prices weren't bad but, the staff is not friendly or helpful. Not even a hello! The 2 girls just stood at the counter talking. You would think they may like dogs as the work at a pet supply store. They didn't seem interested in us as customers or our dog.

Pretty Good stock on feeder insects for reptiles. Much better than any other chain store for feeders. They don’t have much other reptile stock though. Reasonable prices, staff is friendly.

While the selection of toys is not as big as some of the competitors, I feel they are safe and a selection I like. The groomer Pauline is wonderful. Everyone there is very friendly.

I was hoping for a good pet supply store to save the drive to Torrington. This place is disappointing on price, but more so on service.I tried three times, no more. The staff is unfriendly. I'll stick with Petco and just make the drive.

Awesome place. For ten dollars I give Rosie a bath without breaking my back. They provide shampoo, towels and cleanup.
