Several times in the past couple months I have had pharmacy staff announce to the rest of the customers in line what medications I am picking up. There was no effort made to keep it confidential. Very unprofessional. Also have received notification on my phone that there are meds ready for pickup and I get there and I am told they are not ready.

We have got to say that this is the worst drugstore that we’ve ever had to deal with when we have been out of town. I fell in crack some ribs and needed some 6 inch wrap for comfort. When they tried to ring up what my husband found in the store, it wouldn’t scan.she went and asked the manager and she grabbed them right out of her hands and said we don’t sell those and walked away not even asking what it’s for. It’s the closest drugstore to my son’s house so we put up. The last few times I have been into this pharmacy, the staff has been nothing but rude and answers everything with attitude. It not only happens with me but with other family members of mine who also use the pharmacy. They don’t take the time to explain why they can’t fill a prescription, just tell you no and walk away and when you start asking questions they get annoyed and start giving you attitude. You never know what someone is dealing with, especially when it comes to medical issues. Kindness goes a long way.

I don’t think I have had one good experience at this CVS. The pharmacy is nothing but issues. There’s also never anyone at the front register leaving only the self check out available, half of the items never ring up properly or you need assistance in order to get them. Therefore, you need somebody there which nobody is ever around for, otherwise a register would be open. There’s just absolutely not one good experience I have had within this CVS.

Went to pick up a script and the pharmacy wasn't busy. Came home to find they messed up my script. Called and was on hold for over 15 mins and not one person picked up the phone. Will be changing pharmacies.

They’re horrible at picking up at the phone the wait time is ridiculous and pharmacy always late on filling scripts another 20 mins then another 30 mins it’s always something

The staff at this location are the best I have encountered at any CVS location I've been to, to date. They are so polite, courteous, and pleasant to interact with. The store is so bright and clean, and the merchandise is easy enough to find! Overall, this is an amazing location!

Horrible service, pharmacy staff is rude and slow, prescriptions are never filled in a timely matter or they're out of stock of your meds and you don't know until you show up to pick them up. I'll be having my prescriptions sent to a different pharmacy going forward.

My son used the ATM machine inside the store.. it said it gave him his money, BUT IT DID NOT!! CVS said it was a rented space in their store and they had no responsibility for it. It took nearly 8 hours before his bank restored his account the money that was NOT issued.

I normally never leave reviews anywhere. But today I went for my vaccine. I’m a single parent with a special needs little girl. The understanding and patience I was met with by the lady who handled my vaccine was beyond words. I actually started to tear up. I’m sure she noticed. I’ve been met with kindness before. Ya know the occasional sticker to help keep her calm. But more often than not I’m met with judgemental stares because they have no idea of my daughters diagnosis. She was so nice and reassuring I can’t say thankyou enough. I wish I got her name. She even called to confirm my appt. she is by far the nicest person I’ve ever came in contact with at that location, and I will say you have some good people on staff. Thankyou thankyou Thankyou again

I just called to update the store with my new insurance information and get a price on a prescription and the woman at the pharmacy who answered was completely rude. I did not catch her name but I told her I wanted to update my information and she immediately started telling me that CVS doesn't take my insurance so she can't help me. She just kept saying that I have United Health Care (which I've never had, I have BCBS). After several times telling her this information is incorrect, she finally looked up my actual birth date (and found out she he had the wrong person). I was giving all my insurance card information and she yelled at me for not giving her examples of letters on the card (ex. F as in Fred) and then at the end told me the rx group wasn't working and to call my insurance company because she cant help me any further. I really suggest having someone more polite and willing to help customers behind answering the phones at the pharmacy!

I am a cancer patient who needed a 2nd Covid shot. My doctor wanted me to change my appointment because my WBC was low. I went to the pharmacy for my second appointment and met Jennifer Stockman, pharmacy manager. She went out of her way to get me set-up the following week for my shot, when my WBC was better. She had me come early when no one was there and gave me my shot in the car so I would not have to enter the pharmacy. Jennifer went above and beyond to accommodate me with compassion and professionalism rarely seen today. She is a huge asset to CVS, Winsted. Thank you, Jennifer, for all you did for me. It will not be forgotten.

Almost every month I have gone there to get my test strips, there has been some issue. They even called me once to tell me that my insurance no longer covers my test strips. I went into the pharmacy and the pharmacist told me that was untrue, I only needed a renewed prescription. No apology, no admittance of error on their part. Staff has been rude over the phone. I am absolutely fed up with this month to month fight to get the supplies that I need to LIVE.

I want to thank the pharmacy team for their patience and persistence in helping us with a recent health crisis. They worked with me to make a non-covered prescription available and everyday they processed the medicine through the insurance carrier until yesterday when they shared in my joy when we got the "it's covered" Thank you to the entire CVS Pharmacy team in Winsted...Thank you :)

Worst pharmacy. Staff pharmacist Jenny is the worst. She is rude and incompetent in her job. She ordered the wrong item and insted of fixing it she said to call 800shopcvs. This CVS pharmacy has the worst customer service. If you question their judgement they freak out. CVS needs to be a little more selective choosing their employees. CVS just lost my business too.

If there was an option to give zero stars, that would be it. This CVS pharmacy is by far one of the worst CVS's, I have been to in my entire life. They are extremely rude and have no desire to truly help the customer. The Pharmacy cashier and Tech's in the Winsted store are horrific and I am astounded that they continue to work here after the many complaints, not only myself, but others have made. Well Done CVS, you lost my business.

I dont even want to give these people one star. Extremely rude, incompetent and couldnt care less attitude from pharmacy members of staff. Plan to boycott this place in future. If you care about your health and welfare of your children dont rely on them to help you get what you need medication-wise.7/18/18 i came on here to write a review and see i already left one a year ago, i wish i had taken my own advice and boycotted this place completely but unfortunately its the only drive through pharmacy around and with kids thats essential.Literally USELESS pharmacy. Didnt even bother to let me know they didnt have my medication in stock and didnt plan to even order it. Screwed it up once again CVS! I cant stand this store.

Tried to call and ask a question to the pharmacy and was told his "hold lines were lit up like a Christmas tree" and wouldn't answer my question. Then he hung up. Terrible service.
