First let me say that I reached out and she was quick to respond (a plus). I gave a description of the cake I wanted and the flavors and she said no problem. The cake I received was far better than what I had in mind. It had a density of a pound cake and was super moist. Even at the week mark it was still moist. All layers and flavors were delicious. I ordered a vanilla cake with cream cheese frosting and strawberry filling. So delicious! I absolutely loved my cake! I will definitely order again! Thank you Keyonna!

A spectacular and delicious dessert table for my Son and DIL’s baby shower - Professional and communicative in all ways - filled with great ideas and suggestions, Keyonna made this part of throwing a baby shower so easy. I didn’t have to think of anything - as time went by, just when I thought I should reach out,There was a text asking me how things were going - Keyonna (the amazing and talented baker and woman and Mom and wife) finds time to create such beauty and elegance and deliciousness in her bakery.Keyonna was communicative, professional, easy to pay with square and I felt like I had to do nothing but be there in case she had a question for me - Everyone at the shower ooohed and ahhhed and loved all the desserts. Strawberries sweet and succulent, cake and cake pops moist and very tasty, the cookies were firm but buttery and soft and the decorations with sugar icing were so adorably baby girl! Let me mention - nothing was left on the table bc everyone wanted to take the what was left home with them) Keyonna even put the family name on some of the cookies which was a sweet personal touch we never thought to ask for. All the personal and whimsical and beautiful touches screamed “baby girl shower” and we were so thankful for Keyonna and her thoughtful, delicious and professional touches that made our day so very special. Highly recommended 💖. Can’t wait for our next party!

Keyonna is very professional and talented. With only a week’s notice she was able to incorporate everything discussed. The cake was a work of art and tasted good also. The cake was definitely a hit at the baby shower. I would definitely recommend Keyonna for any event.

There are a lot of bakeries to choose from in central CT. We just want to warn other people...Please don't make the same MISTAKE we did! PLEASE CHOOSE A DIFFERENT BAKER. Don't be fooled by the pictures the owner/baker posts on her website and Facebook page. We are embarrassed to admit that we were completely taken. You DO NOT get a cake that looks anything like the pictures. The cakes in her pictures are someone else's work, not hers. The actual cake you will receive will be a SLOPPY MESS that is WAY overpriced. And similar to what other reviewers mentioned, it will arrive VERY LATE on the date of the event. We were SO EMBARRASSED to present the cake to the honoree of our eventWe asked the owner for a refund, even a partial refund, and she ignored our multiple requests to discuss the issues in a professional manner. Now, I've filed a claim in CT State Small Claims Court to recoup some of the money.You have so many talented bakers to choose from, and you can do what you like with this review, but please know that you will be throwing away a lot of money. It's shocking to us that she's still in business.

I wish I would provide a zero star rating. I placed my order 4 days in advance. I was told my order would be complete and ready for pick up however on the day of I was forwarded to voicemail 10 times and the address I was provided was not accurate. My order was for a birthday party, I never received my order and the birthday was dessert-less. This establishment is a scam.

I really was pleased and delighted about the way the cupcakes was designed and tasted for my daughter’s 6th birthday. I think the cupcakes was a success and I would buy again and recommend Dream Cakes for anybody social event!!!

How can you trust a baker who is 1 and half hours late…Cake tastes like just any other cake from supermarket. From what I see, the cake might be Ideal for birthdays but not for wedding. The delivery was late but no apologies and overall lacks professionalism. One star is for the actual cake that was delivered shaken/melted and it looked different from the design request submitted.

We made a large order of over 100 donuts. The donuts were very dry. Delivery was almost an hour late. Paid for "assorted donuts" but all donuts were the same. Felt like they forgot about our order and just put together their leftover donuts, put some vanilla frosting on it and delivered that. Every one of our guests who tried the donuts commented on how horrible they were. It was embarrassing. Extremely disappointed.

I ordered an oreo cake and cupcakes and the cake was very delicious and well decorated. The method of pay and pick up was a little unorthodox. And the cupcakes do leave a little to be desired. However the treats are reasonably priced for their quality and overall a very pleasant experience. Good stuff.

SUPER HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! I went out of town for my birthday and being that it was also my mother's birthday I tried really hard to find a cake person to make a cake and deliver it to her. Then I came across dream cakes and events. Not only did she make a marvelous toasted coconut cake but she also got flowers and balloons for my mother. She went beyond expectations and kept me updated the entire time. My mother was so happy. I will always go back to this place and hope whoever reads this does too.

One of the least professional experiences when purchasing an item. Told it will take and hour and I was going to get a call. Showed up in an hour (address is a house), called but no response and later the daughter of the owner told me her mom (owner) wasn't around. Never got the goods or a call back 🤷Embarrassing really

Order was supposed to be here at a certain time for an event. Business is about 25- 30 mins away. Order did not arrive within the time frame it was supposed to. It arrive way over an hour from the delivery time. When contacting the company rep made it seem like not her fault and nothing they can do since they provided the food to an uber. Food was ordered for an event and the time slot was selected for exactly this reason. Event started with no dessert.

I stumbled across this online when i was looking for eggless cake option. Its hard to find bakeries who accommodate eggless requests and they have experience catering to such needs. Gave samples to try out and decent pricing for custom cakes and decorations.

Horrible experience. After we agreed on the price and the items I’ll purchase, have her all the info, I was absolutely ghosted and she never returned any of my calls or text, mind you this was a day before the event. All in all I never got the items I ordered and wasn’t even given any notice. So unprofessional and shady.
