I had a prescription called in hours before due to a dog bite I had received that morning. I got a text message stating they wouldn’t fill it because I didn’t have insurance which is discrimination. It said I had to call the store but they didn’t answer after 20 minutes of ringing. And I drove to the store to tell them it was self-pay for $40 prescription. She said it would be a couple of minutes but I watched the pharmacist take walk in flu shots instead of filling the prescription that should’ve been filled an hour before. When I finally complained, she said that it was filled already, but they just needed to wait for the pharmacist to finish up another flu shot before he signed off on it. It was so humiliating sitting there pregnant and tired and in pain. They didn’t even apologize.

I recently (yesterday) had surgery on my ankle to fix a ruptured tendon along with some other issues. I was told I had to go on a blood thinner to prevent clotting during my recovery and that my doctor would call it in. In short, I could not afford the medication. I spoke with my doctor who called in a different (generic) medication which turned out to be just as expensive. My wife and I went online and searched high and low for a more affordable alternative including going direct to the manufacturer but that didn't pan out for us. I spoke with Nancy from the Pharmacy and she tried getting the cost down for us but was unsuccessful at first but she persisted and finally was able to get the cost down to a more than affordable price. I (we) have never found service like this anywhere else, not CVS, not Walmart etc. It's people like Nancy why we will continue to use Walgreens. While our main goal was to get the medication I needed at an affordable price, Nancy made us feel like we were people, not just "another customer" I felt the compassion and sympathy.PS. Walgreens if you are reading this, please clone Nancy so we have more people like her in the world. Nancy, if You are reading this, thank you so much.

For the love of God, do not use this pharmacy. Not only do prescriptions take forever to be filled, sometimes the pharmacy just spontaneously closes for a day. Once I can chalk up to a fluke, but it's become an ongoing issue.When the pharmacy IS open, it isn't for very long. Business hours keep narrowing. Suddenly they're closed for lunch breaks. Then they began closing at 6pm. Now they're closed on Sundays?People need their medications!I've been on hold for over 30 mins, and still "there are over three callers" ahead of me.The pharmacist and techs all work their butts off, but Walgreens is too cheap to properly staff their store. It's not fair that they take the heat from frustrated customers desperate for their medications!

I would use the pharmacy here, when I called, they put me on hold, and I was waiting for more than 5 minutes. I drove there, and when I got there, I was still on hold! A little bit later I switched to CVS and they have been a lot easier for me

The pharmacy here is absolutely awful. If you need a prescription refill at the end of the day that was called in first thing in the morning you can forget about it. They never answer the phone and their generic excuse for the last 2 years is that they are understaffed. They have had more than enough time to hired people. Steer clear of this place. Go anywhere else other than this place.

The Pharmacy technicians are always pleasant and smiling, and I usuay don't wait more than a few minutes even if there is a line. They ask if I have any questions and seem to genuinely care. The people that work up front are always helpful and friendly, especially Carol--she always helps with anything I need! She helped set me up on the Walgreens App to save more money. If more than 3 people form in line, they are quick to open up another register. I love going here for quick shopping trips!

Has to be the worst pharmacy in the state. It used to be fine, but it now takes many days to fulfill a prescription and they also seem to have a habit of only partially filling a prescription and then say “that’s all your insurance will allow”. I think they can collect more money that way rather than doing a 90 day fill as they always had before. Sadly, they really don’t know what they’re doing over there. There’s plenty of other pharmacies to use in the area to avoid the headaches and inconvenience you’ll probably endure using this Walgreens pharmacy. But if you stay, good luck! Pretty sad when most of the reviews are only 1 star. That should tell you something.

Brought my mom for her COVID19 booster vaccine today. It was very clear they were very busy juggling everything but pharmacy staff person who checked us in and gave us paperwork was very professional and courteous. Special thanks to Dan the pharmacist who gave my mother the shot -- very kind and has a great sense of humor! Great work, well worth the bit of wait time after we arrived. Thanks for everything that you all do!

For 3 months now I’ve been getting Trans 🏳️⚧️ hormones and I need them on time because the day they run out is usually the day I need the refill and I know most people don’t won’t or refuse to understand but missing a dose makes you feel very sick almost like meta pause. Every month I get a refill on estradiol patches and every month I get a call on the day they are supposed to be refilled telling me that it’s been delayed. For 3 months straight they are always delayed. I can understand the fist maybe the second month but 3? Come on there is no excuse for that. You can say it’s a rare medicine but it’s still a Necessary medication for me and the fact that they refuse to have it for me on time makes me literally sick for two days every month. I’m not even going to get into the weird uncomfortable looks they give me when o do actually pick them up.

Prices here are robbery $11 for a medium container of baby powder! Its a $1.25 at dollar tree and $6.25 at cvs for the same one and they have no travel sized items. I’ll continue to shop elsewhere

The pharmacy should be under investigation. An elderly woman was out of insulin for three weeks. I talked with this elderly lady, as I waited with a friend to get her mother's overdue meds, thanks to this Walgreens pharmacy.The more I thought about it the worse I felt for these customers .This is a very serious situation for people who do not have anyone to advocate for them.I'm going to continue to look into this practice .This is unacceptable 😑

This place never has my medication in stock. I usually have to go a day or two without taking it until they order it. I just moved to CT from MA and never once had this issue at the Walgreens in MA. If you have a medication that you absolutely need, please go to a different pharmacy

Been out of depression medication for 2 weeks because they never shipped my order. Then I reordered to pick up and they decided to never be open. They close all the time and you can’t get your medications. This pharmacy is dangerous

This pharmacy should be shut down. Or atleast someone there who knows how to run one. Unbelievable worst experience me and my naibors ever had. Telling everyone our prescription is ready and then get there for them to say It will be ready in 2 hours. Who ever is running this circus won't be here for very long I'm sure. Please don't waste your time and anger, go elsewhere.!!

Scheduled a covid test for noon on Wednesday. Received my confirmation email. The email gives specific instructions not to go inside the store for the test, for obvious reasons. Went to the drive up for my appointment and there was a sign saying the drive thru was closed. They noticed me in the drive thru but never acknowledged me. Never got my test.

Closes whenever they want, an hour early today without letting customers know. In other words they do not care if their customers wait an additional 24hs for antibiotics they said were filled, come back tomorrow. Do not spend your money here.

Absolutely horrible customer service. I bought wireless headphones only a week ago. Unfortunately I didnt have my receipt. But I only wanted store credit to get a different pair of headphones. They refuse to scan the barcode to check that it was in their system when you could visually see that was on the wall next to her. The manager came over refused to help me at all. I work in the hospitality industry and I have to tell you, If have I ever treated one of my customers so rudely that I would be out of business. Walgreens should really look into training their staff members better to try to help the customers out as much as possible instead of just being so neglectful to the customer. Most stores well at least scan the barcode to see that it is in their system and give you store credit. CVS, Rite Aid, Walmart and actually most stores in general will always try to do that to even give you store credit. Why does Walgreens fail to meet competitor standards?

the manager of the Windsor Locks CT Walgreens made a mistake on one of my prescriptions and not only refused to admit it but refused to do anything to resolve it. she entered the wrong date on an important much-needed prescription and refused to change it. the hospital and the insurer both had the same correct date but she refused to change it on her end saying it would be too much work for her. she told me I had taken more pills than my prescription allowed and that was why I ran out early which was a lie. she told me she didn't care what my insurer said. she told me I would have to pay out of pocket for an early refill and every subsequent one. the insurer agreed on the current refill if it was early but not on refills going forward. the manager didn't offer any workarounds, just told me she couldn't do anything about it. I learned later that there are workarounds and overrides that can be employed but she refused to do anything but blame me for the situation and imply I was a drug addict. I have advanced renal cell carcinoma and need this medication - an anti anxiety product - to help cope with the stress. the cancer has spread to my brain. I am going thru a difficult time and I received no empathy, support or assistance from this person. all she cared about was covering up for her own mistake. I realize mistakes happen; we all make them. but I would expect a professional to take responsibility or at least try to rectify the situation and offer a solution. not here. as a result I have put all my prescriptions on home delivery directly from my insurer. I suggest everyone either do the same if possible or switch pharmacies. I will never do business with Walgreen's in Windsor Locks CT ever again and suggest all do the same. the manager is not someone to deal with for healthcare issues.

I've shopped there a couple times and so far every experience was awful. Stopped there to buy food both times and the food was either 2-3 months expired and stale and the soda I bought was completely flat and also very expired. Cashiers always seem very grumpy or annoyed as well. Not a good experience at all especially when I usually love shopping at walgreens. Will be sticking with the enfield store from now on.

After my car accident, I came here to fill my prescription and the pharmacist and staff gave me a hard time. Horrible customer service. If I could give them zero stars, I definitely would.
