Store has great items, however, shouldn’t close at 7PM every day, that’s just insanely stupid in my opinion. People work and still need to shop. I just think closing at 7 is a bit ridiculous and way to early, especially every day.

Lots of great deals on things that would be much more expensive in other stores. I got most of my gardening supplies at great prices, they have a variety of different plants, seeds, soil, and decorative planters. Also, if you spend money on something that has crazy deals attached and you are a member, you get gift cards, i have had gift cards from $10.00 to $30.00...That's Amazing!!!

The place is a mess, it smells bad, there are about 3 regular workers and about 7 different types of management and everything is still way out of order. These people obviously aren't getting paid well because they could care less what the store looks like. Maybe a raise will help? I dont know, but the Enfield store is MUCH nicer of an experience.

I personally liked this place so much. It's easy to find any goods way cheaper than any where. I could find all my winter needs from here. Even they will give you a good price margin for selected items.

W.L. location has gotten better with the appearance of the store inside. It did look like a hurricane hit it in the past. Now its neater & organized mess. Prices are good. Quality eeehhh. U get what u pay for in some items. Great if ur on a budget or just starting out . Need to be aware that some items are refurbished or not the best qualities. ( clothing has some defects occasionally) food products are not typical brand names. Best thing about osjb is the Portuguese sweet bread! So excited that they carry it. Family would make occasional trip to fall river mass to get it. Now we don't have to drive forever to get it. Happy shopper.

I went to OSJL to get supplies for the weekend holiday. Aluminum pans and snacks. I will admit it was fully stocked. But on that note I went to the snacks section. I grabbed two bags of Popcorn poppers, advertised for 1.50 .I got to register, paid for my items. Was walking towards the doors to exit, looking at my receipt. They charged me. 1.79 each bag. I walked back into the store, went to the section teared the price sticker off box which said 1.50. the person at register, still didn't believe me. I had to get a manager to prove I was right. Wow..for over charging me. Watch this OSJL !!

Do not shop at this location. I was just in the store simply purchasing a Tupperware container along with mayonnaise, only I couldn’t find the mayonnaise. So I saw an associate by the name of Lily who was in the candy & nuts aisle. I asked her for assistance with finding the mayonnaise and she said “I don’t know if we sell it” I said “well, seeing as you sell ketchup and mustard, wouldn’t you sell mayonnaise?” She says “it would be next to those, then” and whipped her hair as she rolled her eyes at me and walked away with out showing me where exactly the ketchup and mustard would be. So I went up to the front register and a young man was there who I asked to call a manager. He said “she’s upstairs”, this means NOTHING to me as a customer. Lily proceeds to yell from the other register “I told you the mayonnaise is next to the ketchup” I replied saying “I don’t know where that is since you wouldn’t show me” so again she rolls her eyes and pages the manager over a walky talky and the manager says “I don’t think we sell mayonnaise”. I am a store manager and have been for 7 years. This would NOT be acceptable in my store location and I sure as hell don’t believe it’s acceptable in yours. She is a shame to your store. She’s an embarrassment to your company. I will no longer be shopping at the Windsor Locks Ocean State Job Lot because of your incompetent and careless employee. It’s sad that you would let an employee treat a customer that way. Customer service is number 1 in a retail store and your store/company failed because you chose to hire and keep employed a brat.

Ocean state has TONS of stuff at really good prices. Just double check for quality. And make extra time to walk through as the isles are crammed with lots and lots of stuff. Its easy to miss a gem!

One of the smaller Ocean State stores. They still carry all the stuff the bigger stores do, but in a denser concentration. Great deals on snacks, Polar beverages, and especially Bob's Red Mill products - Ocean State has a more complete selection of Bob's Red Mill than any other store including Whole Foods! and at a better price.

I used to work for them, and while all of you give them high ratings i cannot. I've endured so much abuse from the manager (Paul) and because of him im on medication. Reporting him to HR didnt even help, not once, not twice but many times.
