Store is clean and well stocked. Staff are friendly, helpful and very approachable. My children love shopping here as they have grocery carts their size. Purchasing dry goods here is economical and really illustrates how less waste (with packaging) can be easy. The Willimantic Food Co-op is a treasure to the community and a pleasure to shop at.

Wonderful little grocery store. I appreciate their clear commitment to sustainability, due to the many eco-friendly products and recycling options. The higher deposit cost for bottles and other items was especially nice to see, as it will encourage more people to bring the bottles back.

Really cute store. I enjoyed my visit! I got a few items that are hard to find otherwise and was grateful to see available. I wish the prepared foods section had some homemade soup choices. The fresh fruits that were available looked poor quality unfortunately, maybe I hit it on an off day but it was my main reason to go and didn’t get any. I would go back though! Good options available for health conscious people. Clean, welcoming atmosphere.

The produce here looks amazing and arranged with actual care for the products. Nothing looks beat up, including beet greens. Lots of local products, a variety of craft cheeses and I could even get raw milk and unadulterated cream (no gums, carageenan, preservatives, etc.) I immediately signed up as a co-op member, which was very fairly priced and came with some goodies and swag. Staff seemed to be enjoying their workday, and they spent plenty of time with me talking about the store and the community. Clean, organized, and friendly store.

Crazy I grew up in Willi and remember coming here as a kid. Just went back and found they have some great plant based options here! And you can buy so many different grains, nuts, oils in bulk which is awesome! Definitely will be back!

I wish I lived closer to this co-op. They offer a wide variety of products and I can usually find what I need. I love that they allow members to volunteer and receive a discount on their purchases. I also like supporting small local businesses by buying their products through the co-op. The staff members are always helpful and available when you have a question.

Competitive prices, fresh foods, teas, variety of healthy snacks, good soap variety, and sometimes otherwise very hard to find oils. Did I say Good Soap variety. If they don't have it, ask if they are able to order it. Also, become a co-op member, they have a newsletter and you get a vote on What is carried/sold.

Gem of the community - local products, buy in bulk, environmentally conscious grocery store. Looking to reduce your plastic use and want to support local makers/farmers, purchase your goods here! Great small town feel in this store and great for relaxed, stress free shopping. I hate grocery shopping but love shopping at the co-op. It's just so much easier to navigate, less stress and everyone is so friendly and kind. Great atmosphere. Great product selection for those with special dietary needs. We are a mixed gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian household and the co-op carries products that other stores do not which is so helpful for us.

First time visiting. Staff was very friendly and willing to help. Very nice selection of bulk items. Prices were not that bad even without a membership. Clean, neat, smelled good inside. Great place to get select items. I would recommend going here before you start your food shopping. Give it a try.

One of my favorite places to shop!A great place to meet friendly people and staff. The staff is always exceptional! They are willing to drop what they are doing to serve your needs. The produce is fresh and often from local farms. There is such a variety of foods, especially for those with special dietary needs such as gluten free, vegan, allergies, etc . A large selection of cheeses and chocolate bars, two of my favorites. Another favorite is a very wide selection of herbs and spices which are very inexpensive compared to those in the most supermarkets. Many "Fair Trade" items, if you don't know what that is, just ask one of the staff members. I could go on and on. I have been going there and a member for many, many years and it has been exciting to see how it has blossomed and grown. A great Co-operative, please check it out and consider joining. You won't be sorry that you did!

Warm atmosphere, real sense of community that can't be found anywhere else. The co-op is a family. Staff is so helpful and kind. Produce is local, delicious and all organic. They are very accommodating to dietary needs and there's a large variety of foods, natural medicines and supplements. Kids love pushing the kid-sized shopping carts and the fact they can see over the cashier tables. Definitely recommend you come here.

THANK YOU to Everyone at my all time favorite grocery store - for your excellent efforts to protect yourselves and the public at this challenging time!!Not only did I find plenty of fresh produce today, but there are signs everywhere encouraging people to keep a 6’- distance from others, and they wipe down the belt & sanitize their hands at the cash registers between all customers.Please follow their helpful instructions and let’s hope we all can enjoy our shopping, and soon again also our socializing in this gem of a store!
