If I had the option to give zero stars I would’ve. Emerly is the worst groomer I have ever encountered. Not only did she give my dog a horrible cut which went against my clear instructions of how I wanted the cut, she sounded insensitive and completely disregarded my concerns. Please do not go to this location for grooming. They don’t not listen and do what they want to do.

Just brought my 85 year old mom in to replace her Berta fish which she had for years. The young man was rude and would not sell us a Jetta gosh unless we purchased a heater. Said no! We went to the Fairfield store and have our fish. Thanks for making me drag my old mother all over the place.

The staff was very friendly and caring for the animals. I was able to view through the window to see the care and love they all gave to the animals they worked on. Very professional. And Ximena is a delightful person who guided me through the process of registering and making the appointment. I have already booked my next appointment for my 2 dogs.

I cannot say enough about this store! Especially Kaitie. I went in to buy my hermanns tortoise and it was so immediately clear that they take great care of their animals. My buddy is so happy and healthy and the staff at this store are beyond kind and knowledgeable. Thank you!

The Vetco Clinic is amazing. The cost of vaccinations can't be beat...$19 for a 3 years rabies vaccination! The facility for Vetco portion in Petco is glass enclosed so your dog can't get away and my dogs are less distracted by other dogs. Plus, I feel more comfortable knowing we are contained. There were 8 dogs in front of us but the line moved very quickly. The veterinarian was very thorough, friendly, and quick.We also picked up a few toys on sale...my dogs don't discriminate against Christmas toys all year long.

I'm truly impressed by the Westport Petco. We happened upon it by chance and they had the special food we needed for our cat's. Everywhere has been out for month's. It's been difficult and expensive to find and has only gotten harder since covid time's. I'm so grateful for the time and expertise their staff gave me. I have never been approached by such a knowledgeable employee at any pet store. I wish I'd gotten her name but I believe she was the store leader. She had exceptional knowledge and experience of feral cat and bottle fed kitten care. It's such a specific situation when they grow up with petting aggression. All animal's have their own personalities and special need's just like humans and it can be expensive and time consuming to handle. I may take the FAR trip back again just to see her if there's a chance I may be able to speak to her again. She's valuable to Petco.

This is by far the best Petco I've been to. Great customer service, all healthy animals and very up to date with the maintenance, I also want to thank Katie and Javier for their great customer service skills. This is definitely now my go to for my pets and supplies thank u guys so much and keep up the great work!!!!

I have just the worst shopping experience due to a very rude sale person called Javier. I have waited 10minutes for someone to come to the register, walked the store around twice, asked vetcare team for help and then asked Javier ( who was helping other customer, and this is why I tried to find someone on my own, before asking him ) to call someone. He asked me how long I had been waiting and when I answered his questions he basically said that I was lying, because he JUST was at the registers. Then he called someone ( she said she was a manager ) and yelled to her 'there is a very INPATIENT customer for you! ', I have never met with such an arrogance. I get it that you are understaffed, but you should not hire people who are unable to handle this kind of situations. Javier is for sure incompetent and no customer should ever be exposed to such a sale person. There was another person waiting and one left the store due to impossible wait time and Javier's behavior.

The receptionist at Vetco and the old doctor was racist. I paid for the wellness of my cat and they didn’t even listen to me and didn’t do anything. Lady on the main entrance was talking nicely with everyone but when I came she asked me to wait on the side and started taking other customers. Poor service. Didn’t check my cats heartbeat or fever. Find a different location

Jayson is amazing. If he is not managing he should be. He is wonderful with people, seriously knowledgable, and friendly. He is serious about the well being of animals, even and especially the fish I bought. He informed me without making me feel dumb, or terrible that I am a first time beta owner. I left feeling like I went to a class on the Beta. I feel confident that I know what to do with feeding, cleaning, maintenance of the bowl and overall health of the fish. He's a keeper!

I have 2 rescue pups. One is very easy going, the other is a fearful of strangers and dogs. We needed to get our vaccinations for an upcoming behavioral-mod boot camp to work on said issues. I had anticipated a very nerve-racking experience managing the visit, but this crew went above and beyond to ensure it wasn’t. Including moving folks around the store so he could get in and out without issue. No judgements, just courteous assistance. Everyone was understanding and empathetic to my needs, and I’m sure there’s many folks out there who can relate to this as well. I highly recommend this location. Nothing but true pet lovers who just want to help. Thank you!

Their dog toy and treat selection is a little lacking in my opinion. This might be because of the smaller space than other Petcos due to their grooming room. They do have a training area and different classes which, when I spoke to the staff about, seems great. Staff were pleasant and seemed to like their work.

The gentleman who helped us (Derrick Collins) was extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with. He patiently answered the many questions we had and was also extremely flexible on scheduling the puppy training classes we signed up for. We will be spending a good deal more time at Petco going forward.

My puppy was vaccinated & he didn't cry or flinch. The vet & her assistant are very personable & have plenty of information which assisted me in understanding more about his booboos. Have a blessed day.

Got home and aquarium top was missing handle piece....I live over 30 min away from store, at the store i notice my aquarium top box had been opened, i assumed the employee checked to make sure everything was there and thats why the package was damaged . Very disapointed their employee would give me an damaged open box without checking it. Will NEVER shop at this store again after i go back to exchange it

the first time i went to go buy goldfish the young lady was perfectly fine with me buying almost big/medium sized goldfish but i just didn’t have my tank yet but the second time i went this young man didn’t want to let me buy a goldfish at ALL. bad service i’m really irritated

Franchesca was amazing, extremely helpful and willing to go the extra mile in order to meet my puppies' needs. The lady who checked us out who was a manager,was extremely rude. She gave us an issue when we showed her that we got a coupon for $30 off. She then complained in front of us that she was already half an hour into her over time. My family and I will never be shopping here again

Helpful staff, good selection, clean and modern store. The store has an area where you can adopt cats and kittens. Pet grooming department is reasonably priced and performs excellent work.
