Nice store. Everything marked clearly and easy to find. Prices are comparable to other area wine and liquor stores. Right in the middle of shopping area so nice if you have other things to pick up such as fast food, pet items or groceries.A good find.

Great selection and fine staff except for one thing that keeps me from making this five stars. Let's cut out the endearing terms used three times within the course of one transaction ('darling' was the cashier's favourite) as well as 'dear' thrown in there. That means also no hon, honey, sweetie, etc. as they're not on such familiar terms with me and it's a business setting. Found everything I needed tho which was good!

Not sure what the other reviewer's issue was, but every time I've been in the store, I was greeted on the walk in, asked on the floor if I needed help locating or choosing anything -- particularly wines, and asked courteously at the register if I found everything I needed. (Maybe you get the attitude you give?) Wine selections are pretty broad, allowing me to "venture" a bit when I get bored with recent selections. Prices are market average, and in some instances like short-term promotions or overstock, are actually better than most other local spirit shops. Certainly recommended.

Huge selection of anything you could want. They have lots of amazing private barrel picks (bourbon and rye) and continue to get more. Keep up the good work!

I have to preface this by saying I am a black female. I say this because when I went into the empty store, I felt like I was being followed. Every aisle I went down, one of the workers was right behind me! Did they think I was going to steal some bottles? I also had to ask the cashier for a bag for my 2 bottles of wine since it seemed like he was going to let me leave without offering. He did not even say thank you after the transaction. Horrible customer service. I will not return.

this is my favorite place for wine and spirits. Best price anywhere for the vodka brand I like and a LOT of bargain wines that are surprisingly good quality. They also have plenty of knowledgeable people to help find things or with recommendations.

Selection is always great and prices are competitive to on par of what you'd expect to pay anywhere else. Staff is friendly and (I think) bounces between facilities because I used to go to the New Britain building but now frequent the West Simsbury one, and am sometimes greeted with some long-time familiar faces.

If you're into bourbon, this is the best place that I've found for bourbon selection in Connecticut. They have a pretty good selection of store picks. Here are some examples:- Buffalo Trace- Blanton's- Eagle Rare- 1792- Makers Mark Private Select- Four Roses- George Dickel- Jack Daniels- Knob Creek- Old Forrester- Stranahan's- Whistle Pig- Woodford ReserveThere are a bunch of be others, too.They also have at least one "Bourbon Bash" once a year - someone's twice. At these events you can get the opportunity to buy one other those "unicorn" bottles like Pappy Van Winkle or something from the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection.The prices are reasonable for the bourbon.They always have about a half dozen high quality bottles of wine on sale for dirt cheap.

I called Liquor Depot to see if they had a particular wine in stock. I show up 30 minutes later, they don't have the wine. The person I spoke with was mistaken apparently. Wasted trip.
