I am very happy with my dogs groom! The first time we went wasn't the best experience but I spoke with Renata and we figured it out and we are so happy we tried again! They did a great job with our dog, the groomer Gray looked at pictures of what we wanted and our sweet pup came out looking like a million bucks! Thank you Renata and Gray for an amazing experience! We are very happy.

Great place! Had my black lab groomed there for the first time and it was a good experience all around. Be prepared to show a recent rabies vaccination for your pet. Also, they have many (3-4) technicians working at once so be prepared to be in a space with other pets.Store has cute treats and novelty items for canines in your life.

Updated review:I’ve heard back from the Owner and she went extra steps to make sure I am a happy customer by offering to fix the haircut or refund. I have been a Local guide for quite some years now and I can tell by the response that the Owner really cares for her customers and with such customer service she’ll thrive in this business.It’s an honest review.Took my puppy for her first haircut. While I do know it’s hard to give a proper haircut when it’s their first time, but the look she got is no where worth $63 for the mini groom. In fact, her current head situation is worse than before and it doesn’t make any sense to me what went wrong. The Groomer did mention she couldn’t give her a proper cut as my puppy tried to bite while holding her chin. My puppy doesn’t bite usually and I was sorry to her as the puppy did that.Also, every one that saw my puppy didn’t have any idea she got a hair cut and all of them said they can’t tell any difference as her body and head hair length look exactly the same as before.I’d have given a one star to be honest as I just spent money on something I almost didn’t get anything out of. However, I’m giving a two star as the staffs were friendly, store was impressive and very clean. And I’ll definitely update my review if it turns out good next time.

The West Hartford Staff is always great with us and our dog. Lisa Bynes gives the best doodle haircuts we have seen yet in 4 years and she is the only one that we bring our dog to. Cannot say enough great things about this staff and place.

Update: The owner called me and very apologetic. I was able to take my dog in today and for the cut to get fixed by Grace. She did a phenomenal job fixing Nuggets haircut. I will definitely be back with Nugget for his future cuts. Great customer!The receptionist was nice when I picked up my dog. His haircut is very uneven and choppy. I have to go over and make it even. Some spots on him are cut too short and I have to wait for the hair to grow and even out. The shop is cute but I will not be bringing my dog back to be groomed, I spent $81 on something that’s not worth it.

Woof gang is great, they’re always very kind & wonderful at what they do. I’ve been bringing my long haired dachshund Otis to Woof gang since he was a year & now he’s 2 and I’m still bringing him on a monthly basis. They’re very fair priced & do a great job. I’ve brought Otis for grooming as well as for nail trimmings. Otis is difficult for me when it comes to cutting his nails, they do it very well & fast. His nails are usually done with nail trimmings in about 5-10 minutes.Woof Gang Bakery makes my life easier & less stressful for me and my furry companion.

Hershey’s first time getting a groom at this place, she was nervous but came out so happy with her full groom. Amanda did a great job and worked with her so well and helped with her stress. Crystal at the desk was great and welcoming. Definitely will be coming back with Hershey!

It’s rare for me to give a full set of stars. However, In this case I need to call out the OUTSTANDING customer service experience I had at Woof Gang. A missing element in today’s service industry.A bit of history > For almost 4 years, Hubby and I have been struggling to find a groomer similar to our former groomer (from Western Mass and a 3hr round trip from here) who was like a family to us because of how she loved our babies, treating them like they were her own.Back to Woof Gang Review > 1st call; I got a smiling voice and dedicated attention. I didn’t feel rushed in my inquiry. I booked our appointment. > 1st visit; My husband had to drive Sully (7yr old Shitzu) and Sophie (6 yr old Shitzu), as I had a schedule conflict and couldn’t take them myself. As a result, I called to explain my requirements, as opposed to the standard in which you would go in, meet the groomer and explain your grooming desires. I was immediately handed over to the groomer, Danielle, who was attentive, and patiently trying to understand, though challenging without the dogs present, what I was explaining. > Pick-up; I was pleasantly welcomed by one of the groomers at the front desk to help me check out. They have Apple Pay (a plus) and a board with a list of groomers and their venmos for tips. Excellent! The groomer, Danielle came out to meet me and the owner of Woof Gang, also came out to meet me. What a wonderful, overall experience. Oh and the pups looked like my precious Shitzus, long, square ears, long tail and short body, as I cannot keep them long-haird any longer. Thank you Woof Gang for a long awaited, new grooming home for my fur babies.Last point…….pricing is on point! Fare & worth it! And we even got a tie for Sully and ponytail bows for Sophie <3

Kelsey did a great job with our anxious, deaf senior pet. He looks amazing (it took years off his life and he looks like a puppy now, haha). He came home happy and relaxed from the "doggy spa". The staff and owner are always friendly, helpful and professional.

The staff and the owner are friendly, professional and always so accommodating. My dog always looks great and smells great after their services.High recommended 👌

Amazing place! The owner and groomers truly care and you can feel it. I brought my Yorkie Max in there for a grooming and cut and they did an excellent job! He was in and out in no time and looked and smelled like a new puppy! Lisa was a beautiful soul who took good care of him. The owner was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Plenty of wonderful dog products for purchase as well and the prices are extremely competitive! Great prices and great service! I highly recommend this place!!

RUN, don’t walk away from this place. They have horrible customer service skills and personalities. I called to schedule my dog for a first grooming here, as we heard great things about their location. The lady I spoke to on the phone was pleasant, and offered me a next day appointment due to a cancellation, and informed me that if I could not come in for that, their earliest appointment would be August 29th. I booked for the next day at 1pm, even though we had other plans, and revised our day around the grooming schedule. Parking is horrible in Blue Back Square, so I received a ride to drop my dog off. Upon arrival, when they asked me for my dog’s name, they informed me they did not have an appointment for her. They then asked me for my phone number, and said they could not find my appointment. They tried very hard to convince me that I did not make an appointment with them, and that I perhaps called their Canton, CT location, or a completely different dog grooming location. I assured them I did not, but they were insisting that I did. I walked out of there, very disappointed, and was able to locate my exact call to THEIR LOCATION in my phone log. I went back into the store to show this to them, and upon me doing so, the employees told me that they did just now find my appointment, but that someone called me this morning from the store to cancel and reschedule my appointment for ONE WEEK out due to the groomer calling out sick. NO ONE CALLED ME. I showed them my phone log to share proof and evidence that I never received a call. After standing around for at least 5 minutes, watching 3 employees stare at a computer screen and not say a word to me, I finally asked if they could get my dog in to groom today. They told me they could not, and offered to rebook my appointment over a week away, or to send me to their Canton, CT location (which is 20 mins away). Horrible, horrible, absolutely horrible customer service skills. They tried to blame me for the issue, instead of taking responsibility, apologizing, and trying to make it right by the customer. I HIGHLY recommend that you stay away from this place for any and all grooming needs, as you will be very disappointed with their lack of customer service skills. There are many other grooming locations local in West Hartford that are willing to take and provide you and your animal with excellent grooming needs. If I could leave zero stars for this location, I would.

Would have never guessed to find such an affordable dog groomer, right in Blue Back Square. Both dogs are looking and smelling great, and seem to be in great spirits. Such a cute store front with plenty of tasty options for a treat afterwards too.

I took some there to have her dog groomed. Oh my goodness, I was so jealous of all the treats they created for animals. I brought a peanut butter heart shaped cookie home for my Beastie, she loved it.When the groomer called my friend to let her know that her fur baby was ready, when we picked him up, I was surprised at how great he looked.I definitely recommend this establishment.

Told the groomer i had a picture of what i wanted so she could get an idea. She told me she doesnt go by pictures. Odd response on her part.I pick up my dog and Im not happy with the face, the ears in particular. The young lady at the front desk notified the owner. The owner apologized and quickly fixed everything and the whole situation. It was a misunderstanding and the owner was extremely kind and fixed all issues. I will be back.

To get an appointment here is like going to the best nail technician - difficult! Ohhhh but when I did, I was extremely pleased. Renata (owner) welcomed us with pleasant ness. Mylo got a complimentary teeth brush on his 1st visit & his groomer was just super sweet & warm. From NY to CT: we’re staying here👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Last week I took our 15 year old black lab for a grooming at Wolf Gang after a myriad of recommendations from neighbors and friends. I was so happy to find a nice, professional, clean place to bring my sweet dog conveniently located to our home. They did a fantastic job getting her undercoat, which isn't the easiest to do. She came home clean, soft and happy. Her shedding is 95% better since her grooming which is huge. The staff was so nice and accommodating...I give Renata an A+ in customer service. I will definitely return here and also recommend them.

I am always very well pleased by Woof Gang in West Hartford. Danielle is my regular groomer and she always does an amazing job with my pups! She is super professional and very trustworthy. I have a Yorkie mix that can be much of a handful when it comes to grooming and Danielle is always wonderful and does a perfect job every time despite how difficult he can be. I LOVE how professional and helpful everyone is. The new owner is also very nice and attentive so that’s also a huge plus! My pups and I always leave woof gang very well satisfied.

10/10 we love woofgang! Unlike other groomers, they schedule you like a human hair salon. My dog is done in less than 90 minutes. The store is always super clean and always have great food, treats, and toys in stock. Cannot say enough nice things about all the groomers. Friendly faces and great service for a fair price!

This was my first time taking my dog to woof gang for a grooming. He was very timid at first (as he usually is of a new place) but when I picked him up, he was so happy and didn’t want to leave. It was so sweet how they had a welcome sign for him on the chalk boards inside and outside of the store! But I was slightly disappointed with the haircut. He was a bit matted with his long fur, so I knew they would have to cut him short. When he was done, he was SO soft which was great! Just pretty choppy all over. He also had many spots where he was nicked, especially on his behind which has left significant burns. We took him to the vet where he got some antibiotic ointment to put on his wounds that he has been licking a lot. We were also worried about an ear infection that the groomer also noted, but when we brought him to the vet they told us the primary concern is that the groomer should have removed the fur from his ears which they hadn’t. Ultimately, I will try them again as I am hopeful that they cut so choppy from the mats and didn’t clean his ears due to concern of further irritating the area. But I will be more cautious next time as our poor boy has been wincing over the wounds for the last few days now.

Update: the owners got in contact with me through various measures quickly. They were apologetic of the service that was given and fully refunded my money. They were also kind enough to offer a hair fix free of charge but since I live a bit far I was unable to take the opportunity. However, I did appreciate their concerns and their reassurance that any mistreatment of any kind is not tolerated which makes me feel better about how my dog was treated. I may just give this place one more chance.It's a small but cute place. Very pink which was a bit shocking. I thought I'd stepped into a barbie dream house. The receptionist was very nice and helpful. My dog gets very anxious and scares easily. I did meet the groomer and she was nice but the interaction was fast. She took in the style I wanted and although my dog was ready for pickup in an hour (which was lightning fast in my estimation) her hair was badly cut. It looks choppy. Everything is uneven and honestly, I e cut my own dogs hair before with no training and I've done better. I think what bothered me more is that my dog was terrified toward the end of her session. It makes me wonder how they treated her. She smells good though... I'm going to have to even her hair out tomorrow. Yaaay. Spent 65 dollars for something I think was worth a lot less.

I took my dogs their they were very nice. I didn’t like one of my dogs haircut but owner quickly contacted me to fix it. She did everything to make me satisfied as a customer I really appreciate it. She had the groomers cut my dogs hair again and it was much better.

I took my husky, Kara, here for the first time today for a de-shedding treatment and grooming. Despite her being extremely vocal (she does not like water and makes sure everybody knows it), she was groomed very well and the entire staff was professional, friendly, and polite. Although I did not purchase anything from the bakery/ boutique in the front, there are tons of options for treats, accessories, leashes, and at-home grooming supplies and I definitely plan to buy some next time. Thank you for taking care of my Kara! We'll be sure to be back for another grooming soon!

Absolutely amazing! We went through a rough time , trying to get grooming for our puppy and went through hell for a good few months. With a groomer who kept canceling on us , and then sent our puppy home on the day of his grooming, telling us he was scared and she couldn’t do it. Finally got into woof gang after a short wait and Michelle did an amazing job on our very matted little guy! And she told us that he was a very good boy! We were nervous he wouldn’t be able to get his grooming done because of the shape he was in. But she did an amazing job! And they are all so kind and friendly. Also, the reminder texts and phone calls were great! This will definitely be our spot for our little guy! Thank you Michelle and woof gang!
