This is the fastest I have ever left a review but I wanted to give a shoutout to Frida for her kindness !! I forget my card in my car and I had left my groceries with her at self checkout to go get it and when I come back in, she had scanned all my things so I could just pay and leave. That was so sweet of her and honestly I was having a bad day and her kindness just made my day. She made me wanna cry but I cried on my way home. She did not have to do that and I feel bad that she did. You need to raise her pay OR something. Over all, everyone I’ve come in contact with have been very sweet.

Great store--but the front of house manager stares at me every time I come here. Why? It makes me very uncomfortable. Today, I even winked at him to show that I know he's staring. God forbid I wish to shop in peace lol

I go 1 a month to my Former Employer. I go when I do my Laundry at Three J's Laundromat which should be the Place I'm putting a good word in for. But I like to go there bc I don't have to fight for a machine and it's Immaculate. Back to Stop Shop. I just buy what's on Sale and the small loaves of S&S Bread are always so Fresh.

By far the best Stop n Shop. When it's the day of your son's birthday and you get a crazy idea to have cupcakes for the Watertown High School Football teamS. Watertown came in like heroes!! Not only did they make 72 decorated cupcakes appear with only a 2 hour warning. But they also had FOOTBALL decorations on each one. They truly made it special, thank you Bakery Department.

Store is clean and staff is wonderful. They have a elderly gentleman who is an 😇 with the kids. Front end management that are personable and efficient. Department managers that genuinely care. This location radiates the community values of our small town.

Used to be good...now the self checkout person tells me kids too close make it call a cashier I will no longer shop here go to iga. Tone down the AI and tell employees don't make up reasons why self checkouts call cashiers.

One of my favorite Stop n Shop's to go to. Clean, everything is pretty organized and no one leaves stray carts all over the place like in Waterbury which is nice. I don't really have anything bad to say about this place - I guess what I can say is the robots that all the Stop n Shop's have are annoying, including at this one....and I've also noticed most Stop n Shop's could have better meat selections - in particular beef.But other than those two things, I would highly recommend this store if you are in the area...or not.

Part time employees don’t matter to them. You can give them 100s of extra hours of help and they won’t even notice you. You’re a full time worker you can be the laziest employee ever but they will recognize you. They can’t find workers and rightfully so. Store managers don’t recognize you no matter how hard you work. Store managers here act like they can’t talk to and you’re below them. Are you hesitant about working here ? I hope you are now. The stars are for everything in the store that doesn’t have to with the store managers:

Im giving it a 3 stars because the store is clean & neat & organized ect ect. But SOME of your employees lack customer service skills. I've been in customer service since I was very young (Mom owned a business) and was taught simple basic customer service etiquette. A simple "hello, how are you today " will go a long way. If your employees can't do that then maybe they should be in a job where they don't have to talk to ppl. This is definitely not only at stop & shop in Watertown, this is everywhere. And it's sad. Pplneed to be taught young so that they know.

As much as I want to support the smaller local stores in the area, it's hard to beat the prices and convenience of this place. Pretty much our standard go-to for weekly shopping, then we'll go to the smaller places when we need quick stuff during the week. Prices and sales are good, place is clean, and the scan it thing is awesome. Can't beat the gas points either.And for the love of God, please do NOT go to self checkout with a cart full of items that need to be scanned. You're ruining it for everyone else. Thanks.

Placed an order for pickup it was the BEST experience! They made a few substitutions, all spot on, delivered right to my trunk in minutes! The Manager James was AWESOME and deserves praise!! Will do it again for sure. Highly recommend the service and highly recommend this Watertown Stop and Shop and James!!

Saturday night time manager no help at all. I came in a half hour before closing struggling to find a product in the medicine isle. I couldn’t find it so the manager came over for approximately 5 seconds, turned around and walked away while I was checking all the shelves. After the intercom said the store was closed I thanked the manager (sarcastically) for all his effort and help. He said the store is closed. So never got the product even know it was there somewhere. What is wrong with people lately that they use the least amount of effort to go the extra mile to help someone? People are so LAZY to do any kind of work.

Very clean and well stocked. Employees are helpful in answering questions. The only negative is they have a woman sitting at the entrance of the store who is in charge of making sure people gave masks, fine. I was a gentleman who couldn't wear a mask for health reasons and didn't hear her as she kept yelling after him. She wound up having her manager track him down in the store and was asking why he couldn't wear a mask. He was very embarrassed.

Ive shopped here for a long time. Now they cant keep the shelves filled seems we need a new supplier not to mention a softer hit on the customers wallet . their prices are way up now compared to just 3 years ago. All in all their trying customer support is off the charts awesome...

The hand scanner makes it a quick trip for me and their sales prices are great. The store is always clean and the staff very helpful11/6/21 Just wanted to add a quick update about the wonderful service I received today. Clerk helping at self checkout needs training. If she's going to wear a mask, she has to find other ways to communicate with people instead of treating them like garbage.... Happened on August 10th shortly before store was to close, maybe around 9:00. If you want to be productive, but not friendly, go work in a factory where you can just do the work and not have to deal with people
