Great prepared foods at the deli and the hot bar. They have good quality deli meats. The market will take special orders for any item you need to be put aside for pickup. I ordered a fresh tukey for Thanksgiving here and it was delicious.

It is an absolute treat shopping at LaBonne’s, Watertown. Everyone stops what they are doing to help you find what you’re looking for. The cashiers are awesome. An example of a customer service oriented employee…. A couple of weeks ago, my husband and I were looking for two ingredients for a special recipe. An employee stocking shelves helped us find the ingredients. A week later I was in the store and he stopped me to ask how the recipe turned out!!! Wow!! So happy we have LaBonne’s as a place to shop. Thank you!

I frequent LaBonne's Watertown store regularly - several times a week and have for many many years. I have come to know and/or recognize many of the staff members in most of the departments - not all by name - but by their friendly faces. I've never encountered a negative experience, only friendly smiles and willingness to go out of their way to help with anything. Even the recently hired staff are awesome. Your hiring and training is top shelf and it's obvious that your staff enjoy working there. There are several staff I would love to personally recognize, many who recognize me each visit and always say hello - in produce, deli, meat department, catering and two gentlemen I always see in the aisles. I will mention that Mel often assists me checking out and is always so friendly, kind, and helpful. She personalizes every visit while being efficient at her job. I've witnessed that many of your customers have the same type of interactions with her.Nancy

What a great store. Small, so you're not walking around forever, but a very good selection of food types. Great deli and amazing hot food selection. 😋A little pricey, but watch for specials. These are competitive. And staff, like Ginny, are THE BEST!

UPDATED!!When I originally wrote this review, I had complained that I did not receive prosciutto. Three days later, I get a phone call from Labonnes.The fact that they read my review and called me directly is astounding.Separately, I had also complained about the amount of cold cuts on the platter but turns out I was wrong 😑.I think it’s funny that my wife is shocked that I even complained: “You complained about LaBonnes? Really??” 🤣Yup, I was wrong.As I stated before:Susan and another gentleman from Produce were superb and extremely professional. The food arrived on time. I will order again and again and AGAIN!!!!. ☮️

This is a great family owned local market that has and old school vibe of high quality products combined with excellent service. I have seen Bob Labonne at that location proudly wearing the same polo his staff wears- refreshing to witness that nowadays - Deli is also top notch along with their Catering and Buffet style offerings freshly prepared by their in-house Chef. Last but not least, their Bakery section carries this awesome line of Arthur Ave Bronx N.Y style cookies - you gotta try the Kolachys, Ruggalah and Lemon Cookies .

My only experience here has been a good one. I called earlier in the morning to order some breakfast sandwiches for a meeting. When I got there they had them ready. Even better, they had them labeled so there would be no confusion. The pricing was good compared to all the fast food chains in the area. Why wouldn’t you get a fresh breakfast sandwich for the same price as fast food? The staff in the deli end at the register were both friendly and helpful. I got bacon egg and cheese with avocado on a roll. It was warm enough so the cheese melted and every bite was blended with the egg cheese and avocado. The bacon was extra crispy just the way I like it. They also have a full service supermarket. They are a family owned business that has been around for a very long time. I want to say over 100 years, but I can’t remember exactly. I was reading something in the store that gave the whole history and how they evolved into the supermarket they became. Stop in and find out for yourself.

Prices are extremely high and sad to say the food there wasn’t too good. I got a deli sandwich that was pretty average for $10 and unfortunately the sushi I got was terrible - it said it was packed the same day but the rice tasted like it was a week old. I’d be fine paying more if the quality of the food is better but that doesn’t seem to be the case. I could have gotten a better and cheaper sandwich at Nardellis and better and cheaper sushi at any other local grocery.

We love shopping at this store! The deli and meat counters are always top notch, the store shelves are always stocked, and the place is sparkling clean and well lit. The parking is safe and spacious. THE BEST feature about LaBonne's in Watertown is the people. Always friendly, whether they know a customer or not, always with a smile, a hello, or an offer to assist. The best moment was, when we were coming back from the vet with a sad diagnosis for our dog, needing to buy different foods (and meats) to get her to eat, the cashier asked us if we were okay. We explained what all the meats and foods were for; she immediately reached across to us and told us she was now our Annie's auntie and would think about our family every day. The store was busy, but it only took a moment for her to ground us with caring. That's how this store is. That is why we shop there.

The pumpkins were supposed to be two for 10.00. was charged 15.98. not sure what happened. Went back today and was told sale was over yesterday though when purchased the sing was still there and when checking out we confirmed with associate that they were 2 for 10.00 but was told not the white ones. We didn't want white ones and took two that were orange. In my mind we were charged incorrectly and disappointed it was not rectified. It's not much just the point of it. The sign and employee told us 2 for 10.00. disappointed as they are usually very good.

I recently had La Bonnes cater a memorial luncheon. So pleased with their service from start to finish. They helped me plan with food selection to portions. Very attentive and helpful.Delivery was perfect, not concerned if they would be timely. The food freshness, quality and presentation was beyond satisfactory for me.With so many things to be concerned with, the food was not one of them. There was more than enough to accommodate all the people that attended, the fruits, cheeses and dessert selections was all top shelf!My guests repeatedly remarked how pleasing everything was.Thank you La Bonne’s staff for helping to make my mom’s memorial luncheon superb!Barbara & family

Love LaBonne’s! They are everything a grocery store was 50 years ago and still are. The customer service is top notch. The prepared food is very good, the fruit and veggies are fresher and last longer than what you get from the big chains. The meat is also fresh and good. While it’s true you sometimes pay a little more it’s ok though because you’re getting better and fresher food that lasts longer. They also run some amazing specials on meet so it’s best to get on their email list. One of my favorite treats is the prepared corned beef and cabbage at St Patricks Day. Keep up the good work guys, never change.

I love being close to LaBonne’s - shop local! Their butcher shop is the best. I only buy my grass-fed beef and hormone-free chicken here. The deli is great, too. Fried chicken is a special treat. They also promote and sell local products.

I had a 50/50 visit today. The sushi maker didn't make my order correctly, he was rude, he rushed me and for the first time ever I was left VERY dissatisfied with their prepared foods.On the other hand my husband ordered a chicken salad wrap which was also made incorrectly but... When he questioned the sandwich (wrap) the manager overheard, stepped in and immediately made the correction. He confirmed that the wrap was made wrong, my husband felt bad even complaining but it was in this case a reasonable complaint and the manager confirmed this. The ending result for my husband was a phenomenal wrap which he enjoyed very much. The deli manager was friendly, quick & on point with everything he did.I will return to the store but it may be a while before I place a large prepaid order in advance.**side note**The store is always spotless. We are in pest control & pick up on things most people wouldn't and we are happy with the general cleanliness as well as the extra steps taken per covid 19.

I'm not going to waste your time and pretend that I'm like 100% loyal to this place and am fully committed to the shopping at locally owned businesses thing. I mean I try, and I'm okay at it. But the bottom line is the bottom line, and places like this can't compete with the prices or selection at Stop and Stop, for obvious reasons. When we do our "major" weekly shopping it's always at Stop and Shop, but for everything else like small last minute stuff or weekend football snacks or a quick lunch, it will 100% of the time be here. The place is great and the deli and hot bar has some of the best offerings we've had. Grinders, wings, wraps, sides, all amazing and never been disappointed. The service has always been right on point and we've never had an issue getting in and out quickly. Hopefully this place stays in business in spite of it's close proximity to big brother, it's really an amazing local store. And spoiler alert: The Sushi is actually pretty good!

I shop at the Watertown LaBonne’s at least 4 times a week. I just love the employees... the store ... the service and even the parking. Everyone knows me by name and they always take the time to say hello or ask if I need any help. There is always enough cashiers so I never have to wait and the customer service goes over and beyond. They have the best fried chicken... Monday nite turkey dinners and sandwiches and wraps in a pinch. It’s like family there and I would never think of shopping anywhere else.

I live in another town about 30 min. away & will always make it my business to shop at LaBonne's. The meats are fresh and there's such a great variety of delicious salads. The produce is as good as what you can buy at a farmer's market. The employees are courteous & very helpful. Why would I want to shop elsewhere?

I have shopped at LaBonne's from when they were on Bunker Hill ext. ( where Staples is now) They carry a variety of specialty items. The deli is excellent and the prepared foodsuperb. I can't say enough about the great meat department, I order my beef tenderloinevery year from LaBonne's. And the staff is always friendly and helpful. Great place to shop !

We have been going to LaBonne's since we moved to Watertown over 25 years ago. The employees are amazing and have watched my children grow up - from playing peek-a-boo with them, to allowing them to run a fundraiser for Girl Scout cookies, to asking how their high school experience is. As we've moved to a 'cleaner' style of eating - LaBonne's has been there to provide all the choices that we need. Great store - great people.

While a little pricey, they have very good selection of foods available. I always seem to find things that are not readily available at other stores in the area. Friendly shopping environment, decent small town customer service. Pretty good for Covid safety: sanitized shopping carts, temp checks.

LaBonne's Market in Watertown is an excellent place to grocery shop. The deli is exceptionally clean, the service people are courteous and quick and the prices appropriate.The store is easy to shop in and the hot bar take out is not only a good buy but tasty and various.The overall grade is a 10 on a scale of 10.....Keep up the good work and efforts.

I give LaBonne's a five star rating. My shopping there began when I could no longer find my favorite brands at the larger super markets in town. To my delight that does not happen any more. The Watertown store has an excellent fresh vegetables department with an ample variety of choices. Every department, including the stockers on the aisles, has knowledgeable people who go out of their way to help the shopper. No request is too small. For example, when I buy fresh salmon, I ask that each piece be wrapped separately so I can store them individually for my convenience. The people at that counter do this efficiently and cheerfully for me. In all the years that I have shopped at LaBonne's, I have really appreciated the quality of their meat, the variety of their merchandise, and the staff's ready help. To top this off, LaBonne's has weekly specials, and when I shop on Tuesday or Wednesday, the senior discount is applied to help out my budget. Finally, LaBonne's has played an active role in our community for many years. I like to show my appreciation by shopping at their wonderful store.
