Never have really had a bad experience here, cashiers are friendly and helpful. They aren't too slow at their job and they actually have conversations with you. However the store can be a bit pricy for some items but I don't blame just this specific store. Also can be cluttered at times.. needs another staff member on duty to put things away at all times.

The end of the aisles always have racks full of product to be put on shelves on them making it tough to navigate a shopping cart around the store. I frequent this store because the prices and products are good, but mostly because of Shandra, Michelle and Yajaira.... they are excellent with customer service with a smile

I like this store but when I ask to use the bathroom they say no we can't let you use it , they tell you to go to Auto zone to use theirs that is in the same parking lot. I have a weak bladder and I need to go when I have too. I say to them you have to go there to use the bathroom and they say yes. But I see some people using it like the Staff , the men's room is blocked off with. steel shelves but the women's bathroom is'nt. I go to different dollar generals and they let you use it. What if someone can't hold it and has an accident there do they expect you to clean it up That really ticks me off to no end.

Organized & Great New Staff. Great place to buy your cleaning products, personal products and OTC medications at a discount. Also they have greeting cards that are 2/$1. Check out the food lanes. I've found great deals there as well

Awesome good deals. My only complaint is that the aisles need cleaning up throughout the day. Stuff everywhere. This location is much better than the Watertown ave Waterbury location which is a disaster every time I go there. Sticking with Watertown location.

Normally I have a good a experience going to this store. Im a homehealth aid for a disabled client who needs items weekly. I been coming here for months but after today i will not. At around 4:25pm saturday, june 5th i went to the store for my client to get cleaning products, i have a mini backpack purse which holds my wallet, meds, planner, and phone and charger. I had just walked in the store and was sanitizing the shopping cart for use when the cashier (the young lady with the red hair asked to hold my bag at the register) other customers walked in at the same time with me, another who had a purse on as well she did not say anything to them. Is this a standard dollar general practice? Ive never experienced this at any other dollar general and this was my first time ever experiencing this at this store since i been coming here for months for my client. My client called the store and reported this for racial profiling. And the cashier apologized to my client. We will no longer be spending our money at this store. We rather use the other nearby dollar general where although its not as organized, you dont get treated like a thief or deal with micro aggressions. Your staff needs diversity training. I couldve been a mystery shopper and she wouldve been fired on the spot if it was up to me. Now had i already been in the store shopping and they had reasonable suspicion that i was stealing, i can understand. Plus theres cameras and im sure you have a loss prevention supervisor that watches the cameras. Another thing why tf is no one wearing masks at this location? The staff arent nor are the customers, are we not still in a pandemic??? Walgreens next door requires masks. Wth is going on? If you are a POC beware that going to this dollar general you will be racially profiled. What a stupid thing to do during this political climate and trying times with videos going viral of POC patrons being treated unfairly. Do better and learn something from this. Had it been any other person you would've probably got cussed out. I rather leave a review.

Yeah, it's kinda messy and a little stuffy at times, but its a dollar store, so that's to be expected. Stuff is super cheap, that's the bottom line here. If you want fancy aisles and perfectly organized shelves, go to Stop and Shop.

I used to go to this store all the time. It used to be very organized and SOME friendly staff. But let me just tell u the other day will probably be the last time I go there. The last few times there are carts EVERYWHERE AND I mean EVERYWHERE! You can barely move in this store let alone push a cart. Its not just on days they have deliveries. Its any day of the week. And this particular day I needed to get to the baby isle for diapers. There were about 8-10 carts in that one isle. They were unable to be moved. So that isle was "out of commission." I was really annoyed by this. This has been a pattern lately and unless it changes, I won't be back. Not to mention one of the rudest employees I've ever encountered.

Good place for cheap stuff. However the manager staff is really unfriendly, and unplesent to deal with. The regular staff is friendly and helpful. Also, always check the price, they like to mislabel things and then try to get you at a higher price at the register.

10 years later, i feel this store owes me $20 i had gotten a wizard101 gift card and apparently something got spilled on the gift cards as when i scratched it off, the entire cardboard underneath showed through, no way to see to redeem the code- my dad was livid i wasted my holiday money on something I couldn’t use and to get my dad out of the store they gave him a non activated card So when i contacted the company with my receipt the card number didn’t match the receipt. Thanks, a**holes.

The place was dirty, unorganized and there was at least 5 people on and one cashier. This used to be such a nice clean store. The manager left. New one is not doing a good job running the place.... I'm not going there anymore. I will go across town top other store just to avoid the chaos.

Those girls are amazing! They never fail to extend the warmest greeting when walking in... I always feel happy when I leave .....the guest service offered by all of them is comprable to a luxury hotel in Manhattan.

.much clutter with much stock in isles always, but my experience shopping for many products has been good!!! Would/have recommend this location!!!!! Thank You!!! ps: employees are most helpful in a nice way....;)

I like this location the most but I have to say I was not happy about seeing on Google that this store closes at 10 PM on a Saturday and when I went there at 9:20pm today they were most definitely closed. Should not post incorrect hours and if hours are correct then someone needs to be written up or fired.

Starting to look a little raggedy! They dont make all customers wear a mask,and why should they the workers dont! They either have it around they're chin or none at all,and I'm not talking about behind the glass ,They are walking around the store!! Working and saying Hi!!!! Thats both places, East Main,as well as Watertown Av,Watertown Ct!!!! Rude and Selfish to do that!!

They have a wide assortment ofProduct to choose from are usualyWell stocked, they have some grocProducts, coffee milk and someFrozen goods no fresh vegetables thoogh. Bread snacks etc along withSoda of sorts , paper goods Tp, paperTowels , paper plates plastic cups ,Plastic silver ware. Plus other household goods

This store is so very unorganized ! Aisles are cluttered with box's of inventory not put on the shelves. Can't get around with a carriage. Employees are not very friendly and are not happy when you present coupons for your purchases.

This is the most dirty and messy store I've ever been in! Every time I go in. No more. I'll go out of my way to another Dollar general.Boxes and stuff in the aisle. So disorganized!

I was in this store today 1/26/2018 around 6pm and they had the music very loud. be considered with the costumers please .. Different day WOW the music too loud ... I left the store, it is unbearable 8/12/19

Love shopping at dollar general. They have great prices and it's a good place to take the kids for cheap toys, etc. People are pretty laid back here and it has a good vibe.
