When they say “family” they mean it! They treat you like you are a part of their family. From the warm welcome, to the sincere goodbye, everything here is fabulous! I travel near and far and have dined at just about everywhere and finally found the place that has amazing breakfast through fabulous dinners. Their seafood and prime rib is top notch! You can taste the pride in their selection of meat and seafood. The prices are great too! If you can’t fit in dessert you must take home a piece of their homemade pies! I have been back three days in a row this week, for multiple meals a day! I just can’t try all of their dishes fast enough! Thank you for treating us like family!

Sharp looking restaurant. I like the decor and all the smiles. I had great service, my waitress was very nice and friendly. I went with a little different this morning and had a corned beef and Swiss omelet with hash browns and wheat toast. The omelet was great, especially with the Sriracha hot sauce i added. I loved their hash browns, fried up perfectly with the exact right spice. Everything was just what I was hoping for so ill definitely be back for lunch, soon.

Food was the best part of the experience. Waited longer for a server to come over than we did for our food to arrive. Also…no turkey. How do you run out of turkey when 80% of the menu has turkey in it? Very odd set up of the restaurant. Can see right through the very cramped and crowded kitchen. Owner was doing bills in the middle of the restaurant. Staff was rude and did not acknowledge our existence. Weird hours. Our waitress herself was actually very nice, though I could tell she was overworked and stressed. Wallpaper is peeling, decor is mixed matched. Prices were good. All around just an underwhelming experience.Kid-friendliness: Very much a family style restaurant

Had a great experience at this Restaurant. We decided to try it out since we've passed by many times. Food was delicious, the place was very busy for a Sunday. The staff was nice, courteous, we would definitely go back again. A nice spot that serves breakfast all day. I may not sit near the door since the place was busy with a lot of traffic in your view plus the weather was a bit cold that day.

Good food, wait staff was ok, it was busy, so i get it. The was a strange flavor in my omelette, but it wasn't bad. The pancakes were good, the waffle was great. Home fries were bland, but i guess people like it. Best part, though, was that they had rye bread! The ticket shock was rough... Two adults, two kids, after tip was almost a hundred bucks for breakfast.

I’ve been wanting to try Unionville Family Restaurant since I drove by frequently.Went in during breakfast hours - got the specials Texas Crunch French Toast (Strawberry/ Banana) with two scrambled eggs and sausages. The Texas Crunch French Toast was fresh and delish! Side of scrambled eggs was fine, however the sausages was not what I expected and was bland for my taste. As for service it was decent since I came in with a good number of patrons seated. There were a few waitstaff on shift, my waitstaff did their best and got all of my orders in. Just be patient with everyone as we’re still getting back to the norm from the pandemic.

Enjoyed the Ultimate Hash Skillet - took half home for tomorrow's breakfast! Friendly fast service of yummy food! Every variety of French toast imaginable, too.

Great pancakes and eggs benedict. However, the home fries tasted like they were fried in old oil. The floors in the restaurant weren't clean- I was seated at a table with food still on the floor around it, and the service was poor. During my meal, the waitress never came by to ask how the food was. I will say that I overheard another waitress coming to a nearby table quite often to ask them for more refills, which never happened for me. So I guess the service is hot or miss here. Also, the waitress gave me the check while I was still eating, which seemed rude- like I was being rushed out the door (though there were plenty of empty tables available).

The gyro was amazing! I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. The menu is extensive, and somehow they seem to cook so much variety so well.

There was nothing I really liked about this place. I always wanted to try this diner because it always looks welcoming when you drive down rt 4. This is exactly how the morning went. I entered the doors, but when I entered it immediately brings you almost into the kitchen area so I wasn't sure if I entered through the correct set of doors, so I asked one of the waitresses if I came in the correct door. Her response was "wherever you see a door it's correct" I felt like saying, so if I came through the back door through the kitchen that would be correct too... continuing my journey for this breakfast since it already put a bad taste in my mouth by her response. My partner and I continued to pick a table and we decided to eat outside... oh boy we shouldn't of. The waitresses weren't to clean looking, most of them had dog hair or their schreads of hair on their black t-shirts. I was a little nervous that hair would be flying on my food. They didn't look as clean as I would have thought. Our waitress comes over to take our order, she was sweet, takes our drink and food orders, mind you we have no napkins or silverware on the table even after we got our juice and coffee so we had to ask for some. Once the food came out, we still had to ask for salt, pepper, ketchup, etc as of yet no condiments on the table. My French Toast came out with no syrup. Customers were coming in with their dogs. Don't get me wrong, I like animals but one lady had her dog on her lap while smoothly petting the dog while the dogs little hairs were flying around. Long story short... wouldn't go there again. Waitstaff not that pleasant, a smidge rude, I feel the place is to small to allow dogs. The plates of food looked good but that was about it.

This is a family run business that has delicious food and warm hospitality. They have the best breakfast items and you can order breakfast any time of day! Want pancakes at 4pm? No problem! Bacon and eggs for dinner? Yep, can do! Haven't had a bad meal there. Just had their french toast stuffed with nutella, bananas and strawberries. Delicious.

The Unionville Family Restaurant it's just that, a place that the entire family can enjoy a reasonably priced meal. They serve breakfast all day long, have a rather extensive menu and more than ample portion size. The staff is friendly and attentive without being intrusive. My friend and I spent about 1.5 hours there for brunch and never felt rushed. It's my go to place for breakfast or brunch and it is a bit of a distance from my home. I highly recommend!

I don't think I ever wrote a negative review so I wasn't gonna write this. The service was ok but I really felt like no one cared we were there. I brought my mom and fiance out to eat and I had to ask for someone to come take our order and bring us water. The bar side was busy enough but I sat on the restaurant side. I ordered a steak gyro (there was no lamb) and I posted the pic of the meat that was on it cuz it was some kind of processed pre-seasoned meat. It's a build your own place so be sure to know what u want on your sandwiches because nothing comes regular. This is the way it's set up and meant to be I guess but I didn't enjoy my experience. The only thing I did like was the garlic parm fries lol. And there's a patio outside for the nice weather. I won't be returning but it could be a different experience for everyone. I left hungry because eating a gyro without meat isn't filling or good. I didn't want to come off as a rude customer so I didn't say anything to them because it seemed they run this way but I definitely won't b coming back here.

Not too bad overall here, but be prepared to pay $2.75 for a tiny soda ("one size only"), not significant meat contents of sandwiches, your fish sandwich will be served on thin white toast so it will fall apart while eating it, side of french fries is near $5 (yet a fair portion). Value received overall is slightly below average. Service and friendliness is great. Not expecting a return visit for us.
