On Valentines day I went to buy lobsters, the seafood counter was closed. It was seeming like I would be out of luck with no one "knowing" how to get the lobsters. Raymond and Lola worked together to make it happen and it was awesome! Thanks to them both for going the extra mile and saving our valentines dinner!

The large grocery carts don’t have holders for the Scan it hand held devices.They need more scan it units!All their other stores sell packages of white meat rotisserie chicken, this store needs to sell it!The produce can be iffy here, I found rotten oranges on the shelf today.

Sorry, this is just my opinion. Maybe I am used to the one on Oak Street in Glastonbury, Connecticut. The layout of this seems weird. Almost like it was another supermarket before it became a Stop & Shop. And they also don’t have the selection of cheese that I am used to getting in Glastonbury, CT.Sorry, I thought Farmington was very similar to Glastonbury, CT? Typically find whatever you are looking for. They also have a cte seasonal/holiday section that has some decorations and treats that are cute. Staff are always friendly and helpful!

Online pickup here is a joke. You're told your order will be ready with an hour window, you check in when you get there, and then they make you wait another hour to get your order. It's always the fault of not having enough employees and managers not helping according to the employees bringing orders out. When you call to check in, no one answers, and customer service transfers you to a number that bounces back to the customer service where no one can help.

Once I got a sandwich there and when I got back to the office realized it was still frozen. Today I got a sandwich and when I got back to the office realized it had two hairs in it. Do not waste your time and money like I did. This is not a lunch joint

Andrew is always so friendly everytime I go to the store. He always says a friendly hello, waves hi to me and gives me fist bumps. Today he waited until I unloaded my car to retrieve my cart so I would not have to take it to the corral. I always look forward to seeing Andrew and he always makes my day with his positive attitude.

I have made this my weekly grocery store. They have great employees which have been with the company for sometime. I do not like the sensitivity on the self checkout so for large orders I only see a live person. Gets 4 stars due to the recent occupancy of a pan handler in the parking lot.

Went in for milk and snowflake rolls. If you haven't tried them, you must. 10 secs in the microwave then a little butter and it takes yum to a new level. Great location and very organized and clean.

I wanted to thank Donna the pastry chef for her wonderful service. I had an idea and she was all too happy to help me without hesitation. She makes the most beautiful sunflower cakes but I wanted it in a cupcake. I was so excited when I saw it because it was better than I imagined. Don’t waste your money on expensive cake decorating stop and shop can give you what you want, just ask for Donna she is amazing and the cakes are delicious too.

I use the On-line pick-up weekly and it is always easy. Lindsey is usually the woman I speak with when picking up, and she always goes over what out of stock items were, and what substitutions have been made. She makes everything super easy on my end. Thank you

This stop and shop has the most unique layout I've ever seen. It was definitely cool seeing something new.They seemed to have a good selection and the bakery department was on point with some cool cakes and pastries.

Today I stopped at this store on my way home from the gym to pick up some things for company I had coming over. I was in a bit of a hurry and I was able to get in and out quickly because of the cashier named Will who was very courteous and quick to scan my items. He even made sure my stop and shop card was correct and I appreciated that. This fine young man is a great employee

This grocer has a vast variety of fresh produce and meat. Their employees are very visible working hard to restock items but also taking the time to warmly greet you and offer assistance. They have a great selection of items in their store and the sales are good but not great. Their 3 day sales still do not match Shoprite.

The past couple of times that I went in right before they closed at 10pm, they’ve had the beer locked up. Tonight I asked if they would open it up with five minutes before they closed. I was told that I would not make it back in time (30 second walk each way) and refused to open it. It’s bad enough the prices at Stop & Shop in Unionville are super high, but the good service that I normally get there has been lacking.

There price have reached the point of stupidity. They must be trying to make up the money they lost while all there employees went strike. I really don't see what the big deal is about S&S any longer. I have been doing 50% of my shopping at Big-Y and 50% at whole foods. Better food, better prices.

This grocery store has been around since I was a kid. It didn't evolve into a more modern superstore until around ten plus years ago? Much improved, it's still not the best Stop and Shop a consumer can shop in, but it has basic sundries and the produce and prepared food sections are large. The meat department has some things and not others and the fresh fish case could expand.

As usual, long lines. Only two cashiers. Store is also way too big and you walk around forever trying to find things. They don't carry some brands that I like so I have to go to other stores. They refuse to get the brands when we ask too. But it's close to home. I recommend the online pickup service which is cheap and you aren't doing a marathon walk looking for stuff and then waiting in long lines.

This is my usual grocery. I really enjoy how many self check out spots there are, as I’ve never had to wait more than 30 seconds to check out. Good selection of non-dairy ice creams. Wish there was more in terms of international foods (green curry paste) or boxed almond milk that doesn’t need to be refrigerated until opened, but otherwise, decent selection.

The improvements are nice but, my major problem with this place is the produce. There is either mold on everything or the produce goes bad after a day. I now buy my produce at Costco because they don’t sell old , moldy produce.Other than that it is a decent store. The. Meats are always fresh and the bakery really is awesome but, overpriced.The staff are always helpful and some have been working there for years, which is always a good sign that a business treats their employees well.

The store is very clean and the food is fresh but the cashiers are extremely rude, with an exception of 2. One cashier scanned my food and then throw it to me for me to bag. No "hello", "how are you". Sometimes it seems as if they do not like their job. If it wasn't for the location and fresh food I would go else where. Next time I will be taking names and will be back for another review.

Well, things have sunk to a new low. They just changed the software settings on the automatic teller. You MUST use the tiny tray to bag your groceries (instead of the ground, which is what many people did), annoying because you can really only fit two bags on them, but the main problem is they haven't figured out how to calibrate the scales. The last time I was in the store me and three other customers were all waiting as all the kiosks went down at once. The poor employee was clearing out the errors from station to station, but none of them worked correctly (I rang up ONE item and placed it in the bag and the scale couldn't read it)They need to fix these things, especially because they now don't really staff the non auto lanes.A few years ago this Stop and Shop moved the automatic checkouts from a main lane to these little kiosks. Instead of a big area for your items to collect, you had to use a little 7x7 inch tray. At the time it meant you had to bag and put your stuff on the ground once you ran out of room, while annoying, wasn't a huge problem. I would simply transfer the rung up goods into a spare shopping cart. Now you have to use the tiny metal tray. I've resorted to bagging two bags, putting them in the cart, paying for the items, then ringing up another two bags. If you have large items, you end up checking out several times so the auto teller doesn't break.You'd think the higher prices would translate to automatic tellers that work and don't all break at the same time.The bottle return issue I posted about a few years ago is moot. I don't get or return bottles here any more. It's still a horror show. I just go to Big Y now, their bottle return is awesome.
