The staff is very willing to help. But the stock locations on the app (Aisle ‘X’, Bay ‘X’ ) most of the time is not accurate to the location in the store. The staff, when asked to help locate an item, will pull out their phone and take you to the wrong aisle as well. Then your options are to walk the entire store or leave and go to any other Home Depot in the area and walk directly to the location off the app.I Hope this makes sense. I have decided to quit shopping at this Home Depot altogether. It’s costing me more money in hourly wages to shop here than driving an extra 15 minutes out of the way and being able to find my products first try.

This is one of the most helpful staffs I've ever seen and the place is legit the most tidy home Depot.. everything is always stocked and everyone is diligent. now Trinity Solar is in there so it's 10 times better lol, let's goo!!!

Very incompetent staff,please train staff why they are there. To be HELPFUL and knowledgeable and courteous to assist customers. I really try to avoid going to THIS home depot, I'd rather go to the one in new London.

To the team who helped my dad get his product purchased fresh together after a random speedy driver hit his cart leaving the store. Thank goodness his sling from surgery didn’t get direct hit. So close to devasting! Pending status. Ouch. Go team.

There are a couple in the return section who are nice, personable, and understanding but i have asked for knowledge or expertise in different departments and have been baffled by responses ive received. But again the return department i have found decency.

Walter in appliances most definitely knows his job well. He had us ordered up and ready to go in minutes. Delivery next week. He also had good advice like make sure you inspect the delivery well and don't accept if damaged and a couple other things. Most folks know this but it was nice to get the extra info. Hopefully thing go as smooth at Delivery and install.

This Home Depot is so convenient because it's only 6 minutes away from where I stay. Staff are helpful and friendly. Awesome place to shop.

This store is always clean and well stocked. Their prices are reasonable across the board. Their plant select is not as big as the Waterford store and like all box stores they drown the cactus but other than that the employees are courteous . They may not be knowledgeable about the merchandise but at least they are available and they try to help. There is a good supply and prices are average. Sometimes it is best to buy the better brand due to quality being in some cases cheaply made. It pays to do some investigating first.

I am extremely happy with Brian who taught me how to install this pantry system! I needed more space desperately and he helped guide me every step of the way! Mel also helped me cutting the shelves to fit my wall! These two men went above and beyond! I am extremely grateful for their help! Hats off to you both!

This location is very nice and I've always had a good experience with the people that work there. Yesterday in particular Aliyah (I don't think I spelled it correctly) was amazing as I had a large order of lumber to pick up and she rallied 2 other employees to help out and we got it picked and loaded in under 10 minutes. She also helped out 2 other customers while all this was going on. I'm going to leave her a 5* review as soon as I figure out how to from the receipt.

If you have a home Depot card, and you purchase something with that card, even if you have your monthly statement, the statement never specifies what you just purchased all there is is a number and that number does not reflect an item,,,, that's a big problem is no proof of the item that you just purchased just a number and the number does not reflect the item,, Cabela's is the same way, you just purchase something with that card and all you get is a number and that number does not reflect the item that you just, purchased,, which means there's no proof of what item you, just purchased,, that number does not reflect the item that you just purchased it's better to pay for an item,, with cash or your own credit card not their credit card,, their credit card system is flawed,, deliberately

Me and my brother visited the Uncasville Home Depot on Mother's Day with our mom. We were overall satisfied with the selection of flowers and garden supplies that we wanted to get for our mom. However, when it was time to check out, we asked the cashier Connor to split the payment between me and my brother. We had asked him several times to make sure it was all set. However, after I inserted my credit card, he said that he was unable to split the payment. This was frustrating because we had to go to customer service where they had to refund part of my payment. They then provided me a partial credit, and my brother was able to pay for the items that were taken out. The associate Juana at customer service was good, but I didn't appreciate it when she said we should have used cash to split the payment. I feel that every cashier at Home Depot should be knowledgeable on how to split payments between customers. I work at the Mystic Big Y as a cashier, and I do this all of the time! Otherwise, I am happy I received the credit and was not billed the full amount. Our flowers and garden look very nice at our mother's house.

All I wanted to know was where the work lights were at. Normally I use the app to find the location of my items but there was an employee standing there so I asked. He didn’t know where the work lights were at (aisle 4) so he asked another employee and that man’s response was “I don’t know right now I have too much going on” as he gestured to the screen of the key machine. So I left and went to the true value down the street. I’m sorry the technology of the key machine was so overwhelming that he couldn’t find a less rude response like, I’m not sure ask “blank” or it’ll be a few minutes and I can help. Maybe home depot needs to revisit employee training or staff the store with people that don’t get overwhelmed so easily.

Stopped by to pick up ten bags of mulch today. We were very disappointed inthe young man who was helping to load themulch. There was no one in front of us so he wasn't busy. He walked right by while my husband was loading our truck. He didn't offer to help or see our sales slip.

Dealing with the Return desk, maybe another Home Depot location will have better customer service. Maybe you should have different personnel working the desk in the evening.

Meh. Okay store. Selection is average, prices are okay on most items but of course there has been price increases due to inflation. The staff often seems to not know what they are doing. There's a few that are friendly and knowledgeable but it's becoming rarer.The person that checked me out today looked completely miserable working there and was borderline rude when I was checking out the items. The self checkout doesn't work properly sometimes as well. I only go here when I have to, Lowes has problems too but they seem to be the better home improvement store.

The help I received ordering Levolor shades was not very helpful or knowledgeable. She even told me that I could order from Levolor com. Who would even suggest that option when working for Home Depot??? I needed to go home to check the length I needed and decided I'll go elsewhere..

One of the "quietest" and best-staffed stores I have ever had the privilege of stepping across the threshold. I especially love the gardening and outdoor landscaping tool inventory. So many lawn tractors to choose from! The Staff at this store are friendly, professional and always on point. They know their stuff. MONTVILLE Home Depot needs star recognition, Mr CEO!

I was at this Home Depot for 2 hours to unload the lumber truck no other truck on site but my lumber load. it took an hour and 15 minutes for an associate to come out and unload me very unhappy with Home Depot receiving service this has caused me to lose a load.

The help here used to be more proactive in saying hi and asking if you need help, or even greeting you as you enter, but this trend has declined. Someone did ask on this trip, which was nice, but generally speaking it doesn't happen as much as it used to. I understand everyone is busy, and maybe staffing levels are down. It just doesn't seem as friendly here as before, when they really stood out as great with their customer service and interaction. But even though they're not as good as their best, they're still a 4.

They had what I needed, not totally their fault the prices are going up. Tried to get my Veterans discount. #1, no longer give discounts on appliances. #2, need to go on line to register for the VA, discounts(they can no longer except, photo ID in-store. Something I've done in the past) then I had to down load their app, in order to get my discount. I am not into this idea to put everything on my phone. What ever happened to paper documents and hand shakes? Note' your competition did not make me jump thru hoops.

Had 3 employees tell me 3 different places what I wanted was. They didn't even sell what I was looking for. They wasted my time.I went an hour before closing dont known if that's the reason. So bad service.
