We found pet degree when I was looking for grooming options closer to home and work. Our dogs were welcomed with open arms, but only after being thoroughly vetted to ensure up to date vaccination records etc. Dorothy is so kind to our dogs. We have 3 bedlington terriers (two with anxiety) who have never been huge "spa day" fans but they have always come back so happy after a spa day with Dorothy. She has also helped me to to learn how to manage their fur better and they have not needed a heavy shave down once since! They are excited to see her and we have dubbed her amazing styling #floofbydorothy! Grooming was only the first way PDT changed our lives. We recently got two new additions to the family, gorgeous and energetic bernedoodles! Despite my best efforts I found myself getting so overwhelmed walking 5 dogs, two weighing in between 40-70lbs, that we walked less and less, leading to even more bored and restless pups. I reached out to the team to see if they could help. I had so much anxiety about training my pups. Lynn, and her team took the time to answer all of my questions and address my concerns. They have helped me empower my dogs and our family to learn fantastic skills. We just recently completed our first ever road trip with the two bernedoodles and they had the most amazing adventure. They walk beautifully on leash and off, recall really well. They are teaching our "old dogs" new tricks too and the entire family is getting out on daily walks and field trips. They are so much safer now and best of all they love, love, love going back to Pet Degree for daycare! I am so thankful for their support and kindness and will continue to use their expertise as we grow our puppies range of safety skills to make sure we can continue to let them safely play out and about. When I know I have an extra long work day, I know the dogs can go to daycare and come home after a day of stimulation and play, ready to snuggle up without feeling bad we skipped one of our walks.

We enrolled our crazy rescue puppy, Finley, into Pet Degree’s daycamp training program and after the very first day, couldn’t believe the progress she had already made! Four weeks later, we have a completely transformed dog that listens, is well mannered and gets compliments everywhere she goes- all thanks to the trainers and staff at Pet Degree!Everyone goes above and beyond and it’s easy to see that they truly care about each dog they care for. Finny is always so excited when we put on her “school” collar, wags her tail the entire car ride to Pet Degree and could care less when she sees her friends that I’m leaving her. We are happy to have found such a great place and recommend Pet Degree to everyone!

There is no one better than all the staff at Pet Degree! I have a 9 month old puppy who started training and daycare when he was 14 weeks old. The care they have given him & my entire family has been truly one of a kind. I am an over protective dog mom and they have eased every worry I have. They love my puppy like he is their own and it shows in his behavior and how he loves to go! They have turned a dog who had no concept of how to play and would eat anything and everything into a dog that can go anywhere with us, knows how to play appropriately (and has manners now) and has saved our lives! Between the daycamp program & daycare I don't know where we would be.... he comes home tired and happy everytime he is with all his friends.Check out their IG! It's where all the fun happens.

I don't think this place has any idea what they are doing. We dropped off our German shepherd puppy for a 30 minute day care/training evaluation and that should have been a red flag. How can you evaluate a puppy in a new setting who has never been around other dogs in 30 mins? They even made us pay for full day daycare rate. The woman I spoke to said my dog was going to need to be neutered in order to get better control of him and claims he snapped at her. I went to a trainer at a different place and after 1 hour of training and being slowly introduced to other dogs, he's able to attend day care, is around other dogs without problems, and goes to boarding with no issues. According to the new trainer he was displaying typical puppy behavior and just needed to build his confidence. Don't bother with Pet Degree

I looked into a few places. Was convenient and I thought a good combo of daycare with some training. I filled out all the forms, returned them promptly,. Was told she couldn't play with other dogs as she wasn't fixed. As a a pure bred German Shepard from a breeder didn't want to rule out a litter in the future. Was told she needed a license, another shot not required by vet and a fecal sample. Took her to the vet for $215 emailed in remaining paperwork for the valuation. Then I was told as not quite one year old that because she hadn't been in heat yet would have to wait another month or two . They knew how old she was from the day I walked in. Wasted almost 2 weeks running around getting what they needed, $215 at the vet, and back to square one looking for another place. The girl was nice and only the messenger but bad business practice of wasting peoples time & money. Jim O'Donoghue

My first visit for paperwork, friendly prompt help from staff.Met the trainer and scheduled classes. Seems to be a very well-run facility.Very happy with the results of 4 weeks of training. My Rottie is now a manageable dog.

I couldn’t recommend Pet Degree enough! They are the only service in Connecticut (including the vet) that is able to cut my dog’s nails. They are quick, professional, and extremely friendly. Thank you Lynne!

I have a German Shepherd, 5 months old name Atlas. Recetly he got so restless, jumping on people, nipping etc. So I tried Ms. Lynn for a private session who is the owner and personel trainer from pet degress.Lynn was great, friendly and knowledgeable. She did a great job and now out Altlas’s behavior changed a lot. Great customer service. Highly recommended. Thank you.
