Well organized branch of Walgreens complete with terminal for development of digital photography, automatic teller machine, and all sorts of products for health and personal care. Tanks of propane are sold outside. There are about four cashiers at busiest, with a pharmacy in the rear. What makes this establishment lose one star from this review is that the home-test kits for the ‘Rona are in very high demand now, yet instead of commensurately raising the price, Walgreens just rations the product to four units per customer. Friendly staff and adequate parking in the lot out front.

The worker “nycol” is very disrespectful and i was asking about a coupon code and she said “you can check your damn phone” and I checked my phone for the coupon and she said “I really don’t have time for this I have other customers so are u done”

I don't have issues with the store or photo. For the most part their friendly and give good prompt service.However the pharmacy has gotten bad. Their always short staffed (I understand that) but they close early, started having issues with getting my medications resulting in me going days without them on multiple occasions. They've even closed for the entire weekend more than once recently. I would have problems every time I tried to call the refills in. Then I would receive a text saying they were ready for pickup, yet when I got there they wouldn't have it. It just kept getting worse. It got to the point I switched pharmacies because there were numerous issues every single time I was due for my medicine. I understand sometimes there are issues beyond control but every single time? Not to mention instead of apologizing for the inconvenience, you would get an attitude and basically be told "oh well nothing I can do."

The state should close this location’s pharmacy due to its incompetency in fulfilling prescriptions. After waiting 3 days for a much needed antibiotic, ( calling the store, connecting with an automated attendant telling me that they have the prescription but its not ready, call back in an hour) I drove to the store on the 4th day to find another couple waiting in line for a prescription called in 2 days prior. The pharmacy filled both of our prescription as we waited.This location is not only incapable of routinely filling a prescription on time, but equally incompetent in communicating their inability to fulfill. It’s nearly impossible to speak with anyone over the phone regarding the status of a prescription. Based on the on-line reviews that I just read, this has been an ongoing issue and should be addressed. Now that I know of their incompetency, I will not have a prescription sent to this store again, but what about people that are not aware?The state should not allow this incompetency to persist. Failure to fulfill or providing notification of your inability to fulfill will result in serious health consequences to an uninformed consumer.

This is the worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with. Prescriptions are never ready and every time I go there something is wrong. I see others before me have nothing but problems to. I called this morning and was on hold for 42 minutes and the automated system kept repeating I had 2 people ahead of me now how is that even possible? My entire family is going somewhere else. This pharmacy is absolutely horrible! My doctor sent my prescription yesterday and it still isn't filled.

The worst pharmacy I have ever used, they fill prescriptions when they feel like it. I've waited over 14 days for 2 prescriptions to be filled. I understand they may be "understaffed" but this sounds like a bad management problem. Hire someone, transfer employees from other walgreens, etc do something! Your putting people's lives at risk by not dispensing their medication. Also a 30 minute hold on the phone everyday just to be hung up on... pathetic.

This pharmacy tries to help but they are very understaffed and every visit has been a lengthy one for the past several months. Even a phone call to the pharmacy usually ends up in at least a 20 to 30 minute hold. I've used Walgreen's for many years albeit not this store and never seen the problems I have since moving to Torrington. Just hoping they finally get more staff or I may need to go elsewhere. Been patient for a long time. Otherwise most of the staff seems friendly although stressed out.

I don't know if it's just this Walgreens or all Walgreens in general, but their pharmacy leaves much to be desired. Every month I have an issue of some sort with not being able to fill a Rx. Medication refill requests somehow get kicked out of their queue so I have to call for them to find it in my account history and put it back in to be filled. Of course I realize this only once I've gotten home so I have to make another trip. They inexplicably give partial refills which I can't fill thru their systems but if I try to call and wait on hold for 1/2 hour (multiple times) they disconnect me. When I FINALLY got thru on the phone the pharmacist was so rude because "they were very busy". I'm busy too, but apparently the hours I've wasted being on hold with them don't count for anything. They're busy because they have customers like me who rely on them for medications. The customers ARE their business. I've just had it with anyone who doesn't want to deal with people working in an industry which serves the public. And quite frankly, their computer system needs a complete overhaul to fix all the glitches.

The worst managed pharmacy ever and under management seems to not want to do their jobs but by far worst managed pharmacy I've ever seen. How can you not know where the key to the safe is for a whole day 9am to 6pm and you cant find the key and management nor the shift the night before will answer their phones to tell a fill in where the key is.. it was absolutely ridiculous

Easy in and out for when you are in a hurry. Staff is always pleasant and friendly. The pharmacy can use a little improvement with its communication. Too many times I have shown up to pick up my Rx to find out Its not available because they are currently out of stock without notifying me first-hand by phone. So then i would need to come back the next day or if it is a Friday, than I would have to wait until Monday. I eventually just changed pharmacies and haven't had a problem since

if i could give it a zero star i would. they take forever for any prescriptions to be ready. and i get we are going through covid but they gotta figuresomething out. i went there today to get a prescription and sat in the drive through line for 10 minutes. when i reached the window they put their break sign up and closed. i understand they need a break too but they knew i was there. definitely switching pharmacies now.

I often use the Walgreen's pharmacy. However, I always check to see what sales they have on their candy and soda. They offer a wide variety of cards for any occasion. They carry a large line of make up. And OTC medications as well. They carry a generous amount of grocery products as well, just in case you'd like to do a one stop shopping trip for convenience.

How can you temporarily close your prescription area for people who need their medicine without calling them, sending a text message or even a email! Very unprofessional and you lost me at this place and I am sure you lost a good chunk of customers for your unprofessionalism.

Score is mostly brought down because of the pharmacy.one of the worst pharmacies around. Unhelpful staff they really make you feel like you’re in their way. “”Bothering them ““ and don’t even think of them to ever go one little extra step for you. So basically the Rating is for the pharmacy the ladies upfront are great at the registers.

We had to switch over to this pharmacy when Rite Aid on Willow Street closed, but several months later, we are just not happy with it and will be switching to Stop & Shop Pharmacy this week. There are no automatic call-in refills like at Rite Aid, instead you have to connect to the pharmacy and talk to a person, which most often you are put on hold forever. A few times they have called and told me a med is ready but when I get there, it is only partially filled so I have to wait in the horrendous lines forever or come back later. Another problem is the traffic even coming to the pharmacy and all the lights.

To the walgreen on N Elm Street in Torrington they are WORSE!!!!! Pharmacy service is the WORSE! Very rude pharmacist. Went through drive through for a pill that I was told was sent in for me, he was unprofessional and seemed bothered for me being there. Began to list off former medication and medical problems I had in front of staff. Made the comment that I haven’t been there in over a year (is being healthy a bad thing? Overall very embarrassing.

Walgreen's has two spacious stores in Torrington CT. The staff is always ready to help you find the items you need. The pharmacy staff can help you find the items you need and explain to you about your prescription medications. Walgreen's is located at Main street and East Elm and has a store on East main street.

I've been going here for A decade and bring thousands of dollars to this store. I'm tired of being asked to sign up for credit cards, I'm tired of entering rewards numbers and I'm tired of standing in line for an hour waiting for people to get their penny off coupons to work. This place is inconvenient and frustratingly stupid and I will never go again.

Every single time I need a prescription filled...I call it in and they say it's too soon for filling so I wait for it to go through only to find out it's out of stock!! Now you would think that when I called it in they would check no they wait until the day I could actually pick it up to say oh no your prescription is again delayed for not being in stock. You would think after having filled so many times they would actually have it on hand. 😥😥😥😥

I come here all the time to ship out packages and tonight tina refused to ship it out because i needed to tape on the label which they have always done for me very rude and will never use this place again also had my dr send prescription here and they refused to fill it
