Very helpful staff, friendly too...I love this store it's a discount version of Shop rite with many name brands. Similar to Aldi bring your reusable bags and a quarter for the shopping cart. Great variety of domestic and ethnic foods. There is no butcher, or deli, but other options are available for specialty meats,

Good basic foods at great prices. I shop there for box and canned goods. Also meat prices are very reasonable!

Vastly improved from its previous self. Many options, decent produce. Easy to navigate layout. Self checkout options. This store has very odd shopping carts that require you to deposit a physical quarter into the cart to "unlock" them. The quarter is returned to you when the cart is returned.

Went in today and had the worse experience with Cory an awful cashier . Rude, no sense of customer service .The store on the other hand was in great shape and very clean and organized!

The store was clean. The staff was friendly had just run in, for one of their sale items ended up buying a bunch of other stuff. Cause the prices seemed so competitive.

Not many stores that can compete with Price Rite’s pricing, but I believe customers should have some recourse when it comes to purchasing fruit that appears fresh on the outside but nasty tasting on the inside.

Good prices on vegetables, no good meat for some reason it goes bad very quick. Other than that good place to shop.

Very similar to an Aldi's. Well laid out. Great prices. Good choices to pick from

Most prices are good but they really need to keep eyes on meat and fish because there are times I go and it smells bad

Good prices here compared to the bigger chains (e.g. pound of rye bread for $3.09 vs. $4+). Better selection than Aldi's, but not as good as the chains.

Shelves were empty, a lot of items were pricey for being in a pricerite, more brand named items than I expected to find here and that was a pleasant surprise. The bathroom was completely destroyed though. It made the poop actually go back inside me for a while.

Much cheaper than regular grocery store & you can find the same items just not always name brand hence the soup..although they did also have cambells but at a much higher price. The produce dept. Is very large as is the meat dept. I spent roughly $300. Which would have cost me easily 450 in a brand name store. They do sell brand name items as well. Cereals, snacks, chips, yogurts, rice, it's just higher priced. They also started taking coupons which is a double plus. Highly recommend.

The prices are still awesome alot to chose from & takes coupons unlike some other discount stores. The store looks so good since they opened it up,that's right no more giant wall where you have to walk around to get out of that section.. customer service is still as GREAT as ever.. THANK YOU PRICE RITE!❤

Price Rite Marketplace proved to be clean and well stocked. The prices were reasonable and check-out was easy with a kind young man. I would recommend this location.

My boyfriend went to buy some food off our EBT and they didn’t want to accept the amount and then we would pay the difference in cash so they put the amount through as inefficient funds

Name brand items at discount prices. The Meat, Chicken, Pork, and Fish always priced lower than what I expected. The produce department prices are a lot less than the other grocery stores in Torrington. Many times I walk out of the store with at least four bags of groceries and I only spent mo more than $35 to $40 a week !!!!! 5 Star customer service.

Food is cheap, but you have to be carefull what you buy. Personally I wont buy their meat. but brand named stuff is great. Fruits are priced nicely but sometimes not the greatest taste- its a hit or miss on anything fresh. I used feed my hobby fish the frozen fish from here till I seen how many worms are in it once defrosted.

The prices are very reasonable. The store itself is not very clean, the produce and meat selection never looks edible. The store usually smells pretty gross. But, for non perishable foods, it's pretty good considering the low prices. Don't ever try to use their self checkouts as they barely work and are just a general annoyance.

Location is frightening, parking lot is dark and creepy, and the inside is a little confusing. You're better off going elsewhere.

Pretty clean store. Produce the past few times I've been there has been on the verge of going bad no firmness like it's supposed to be the pre-made salads are getting worse the lettuce inside turns brown and and gets slimy a week before due date. You always need to check for expiration dates. Their meat department is very sparce and overpriced, you can go the main stores like stop shop, market 32 and even BJs and get better deals and more variety you can probably even get cheaper items at aldis. Price right use to be better and cheaper. The customer service is good they do need to start opening up more than one register, they have 1 register open and all self check outs open but want you to pay for over ripe produce and over priced groceries and especially meats. Went there yesterday and it looked like they removed meat from a couple packages and then "marked" down for what you used to pay $4 for was marked down to $10-$12 a package. I may have to drive further but I'm going to stick to market 32 and see how aldis is

I do a lot of my shopping here. There's always several items in their weekly circular that are really good buys. Most times, I can get in and out pretty quickly. Prices are good. Usually can find what I'm looking for. Like the self checkouts.

Great store always clean and people are friendly. The one set back is never have enough registers open a d the lines are super long. I had to just leave a couple of times when I only had a few things. I don't like doing that but it was necessary. The store is always busy so more register operators is warranted. Lots of people on the floor working ,need to better use the resources you have. Still like shopping at price rite and go every week.

I love to shop at Price Rite especially for produce. They always have a great variety to choose from. The employees go out of their way to help you find what you need. The cashier s are usually very courteous and friendly.

Great staff that are always helpful.Good selection...Always missing something in the prepackaged coldcut cooler, ether yesterday there was no sliced cheese. Week before no sliced turkey.I dislike having to finish my shopping at Big Y because things are not stocked.
