Absolutely disgusted with the service here when I went in with high hopes. Originally, our local Walgreens was unable to fill my prescription for baby formula and referred us here since it was a time sensitive matter. A woman told me to come back to receive my infants formula prescription several DAYS after it had been called in, when I called to check the status of the prescription before driving all the way back here, a woman openly laughed at me for assuming they’d ever be able to fill it. When confronted about it, she was incredibly rude and not knowledgeable. Severely disappointed with service here. All bias aside, prescription infant formula should be of the HIGHEST priority Thank God for another store having our very specific brand, or my baby would have gone without due to the negligence and lack of communication at Peteicone’s.

Petricones has top notch customer service. They go above and beyond for my home bound grandparents. Much better than any big name corporate pharmacy, they add a personal caring element you can’t find anywhere else.

Great Pharmacy! They always get my perscription filled. The staff is always great and they have gone above and beyond for me more than once. There was a few months when because of my insurance I had to go to CVS they had problems filling my perscription every month for 4 months. I was like I don't know why this is a problem I never had this issue elsewhere. They told me I should go elsewhere so I called my insurance company and now I am happily back at Petricones getting my perscription on time every month with no problem. Can't thank them enough for all they do.

As of March 2023 they started charging $2 per delivery with no option to waive the fee for those who can’t afford it. They are also very disorganized and will deliver one medication at a time if you don’t stay on top of them. So, today I picked up my medication and asked how much my medication was worth if I didn’t have Medicare. I was told that they aren’t making anything off the scripts because the government refuses to pay them enough. The pharmacist then grabs my medication and says let’s see and I said hey look the exact amount isn’t the point. The point is that you’re getting thousands for just the 6 medications I picking up and it’s not like I ordered a pizza. He comes up yo the counter and throws my medication in disgust and says, “I know this isn’t your pizza, here!” And the girl at the counter didn’t even give me a bag and says, “Just leave!” I left and added them up and they are getting $2664.92 just from what I picked up today. That is the very last scrip I’ll ever fill there! Do not go here because they don’t value your business especially if you have Medicare or Medicaid.Edit (June 30, 2023): Yesterday, my new pharmacy told me that they would gladly deliver my medicines to me as it’s covered by my insurance and that wasn’t enough for you? You had to charge me on top of a covered delivery. That’s just another thing that just stinks about the way your “pharmacy” operates.

Great staff, always had smooth, no issues business with them. They have gone the extra mile for me more than once. They have a larger staff compared to their competitors making for better faster service. The fact that they deliver is a game changer for me being sick and limited. They even remembered my birthday!

Went here for my latest COVID vax. What a fantastic place. Everyone was helpful, kind & efficient. My appointment was on time & quickly done.Highest recommendation. This is a fantastic place.time & quickly done. I wish my insurance would allow me to use Petricone's for everything.

Rude, condescending, terrible service. My family switched over to petricones a few months ago and at first they were awesome. Now several months later I’m switching back to a different pharmacy based solely on their terrible customer service and bad attitudes. I get a monthly prescription at the same time every month and somehow they alway “have to order it” and I have to go without. My wife went to fill her mental health meds a few days late and there was an issue, their response “it’s hard to feel bad when your filling it late”. That’s the last time I’ll be using petricones, they should stick to compression socks if they can’t fill their regular monthly prescriptions. It wouldn’t have been an issue had the pharmacist showed a modicum of decency instead of being as nasty and condescending as possible. My mother has left petricones crying at the way that treated her in the past and she made the correct call that it isn’t worth the struggle to save a few minutes sitting in line. I will never fill another prescription at petricones, they have received the last dollar they will ever get from me.

I switched myself and my daughters from Walgreens to Petricones about 5 years ago. I had so many issues with Walgreens, I was at my wits end. I decided I wanted to go to Petricones because I’d rather put food on the table of a local owner then give my money to a big chain where you are just another number. Not the case with Joe ( how often can you have an in face conversation the owners of big chains?) to Joe you are an actual person, a member of his community. He actually cares, really wants to help the people in his community. Sometimes mistakes still happen, but unlike my previous pharmacy they will do whatever they can to fix issues. I’m happy I made the switch. Since then, I got my grandparents and boyfriend to switch to Petricones as well. My elderly grandparents really enjoy the delivery service. I just can’t say enough about them. Everyone is very nice. I’d never switch to a big chain ever again. I wish them luck with their New Hartford store, and happy for the community that will be welcoming Joe, and Petricones along with their great service. 💊❤️😁

One of the last, lone Mom and Pop pharmacies in Torrington. Their customer service is great. Their shop may not be as big as the big box pharmacies but they offer medical equipment and they know their customers. They care about your business too, which is sadly a dying concept.My elderly mother shopped here and I see they do cater to some demographics, which is good. I hope they stay in business for ages to come. Keep up the good work with the old school approach to customer care!

Wanted to go with a more local pharmacy so I completed the online form to have prescriptions transferred and nothing happened. I then called the store two times and gave them all my information and months later still no transfer. Guess they don't want new business.

I have been going to Petricone's pharmacy for over a year now. I've had no issues with my medications, medication refill requests or questions that I needed to have answered. The staff there are wonderful people and I appreciate all the hard work they do. I highly recommend Petricone's pharmacy to all my friends, family members and the citizens of Torrington CT

Nothing but the best! I personally use them for all medical purposes, but my father Had fallen I'll and the level of service they went to for us was beyond amazing! The lady working (I'll leave her nameless for certain reasons) went above and beyond with helping my father with his insurance and when the insurance company didn't do anything Petricons Pharmacy helped us out. My family and I will continue to do more business with them!

My mother came into the store recently to purchase something for a family member. She wasn't too familiar with the item she was looking for and didn't realize it came in different levels. She was directed to a person named Matt who then asked her a question about what level or size she was looking for. She did not specifically know the size she was looking for for her family member. Long story short, it was told to me that Matt was very rude and condescending towards her and didn't want to sell her the item simply cause she did not know the size. Couldn't she have returned it if it wasn't the correct one? My mother is in her 70s and was treated poorly in this store for no reason.

I have been with Petricones, in Torrington, for about a year. I am disabled and I have my scripts delivered and they’re not in original containers. I take many pills so they’re sorted out for me for AM and PM. So when I called Petricones Pharmacy to refill prescriptions the gentleman asked if I knew the prescription numbers I explained that I take them out of the containers to put them in a sorting container so he put me on hold. About five minutes later he comes back on the line and says what’s the name of the prescription so I gave him one and I said that I had gotten a call from the store’s automated system that I had a prescription that was out of date and I wanted to know what it was. Well, he was extremely rude and when I asked for the owner he said he was the owner then he hung up on me. I called back and got Greg. I told him I was just speaking with the owner and the owner hung up on me Greg told me he was not the owner. I asked to speak to the owner and he said he wasn’t there I asked the owners name he said Joey so I said thank you I’ll call back when Joeys there and I hung up. Every time I called there they are so completely rude to me that this is the end of the line and I am going elsewhere. DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY. THEY ARE SOOOOO RUDE.

Petricon's Pharmacy is one of the best pharmacy's around. The cashier is friendly, the pharmacists are very helpful, knowledgeable and they know their clients! (That's what is mainly important!). Petricon's Pharmacy is not like the big store pharmacy's where they just want to get you in and out, where they just want to keep it moving on the next client. This pharmacy actually takes the time to get to know the client's again you don't get that with the big chain pharmacy's..This pharmacy has an old fashioned feel to it, they even have or can order small medical equipment and devices if needed in their adjoining store. AND THEY ALSO DELIVER (which the big chain pharmacy's DON'T!) Convienently located corner of East Main and Center St across from St. Peter's Church is where Petricones Pharmacy is easily located. Oh by the way, if deciding to switch to Petricon's, they can easily move your medication from the big chain pharmacy to theirs without a problem or hassle.. Give them a try whether buying cough drops to toothpaste or needing to drop off a prescription or even needing medical equipment or devices Petricon's Pharmacy is just as good as the big chain pharmacy's if not better!! I know because I am a customer and get all my prescriptions at Petricone's I used to use ®Rite Aid and I am glad I changed.. You want a pharmacist who knows you, not think of you as just another person with a prescription...

I switched to petricones from Walgreens and they were awesome up until today when I was told one thing this morning and upon calling this afternoon they then tell me something else this is why I left Walgreen because of the inconsistencies and being told my mess would be ready after a specific time but even hours later finding out only one would be ready and that now I'd have to come back the next day for the other. Like how hard would it have been to tell me that in the first placeEDIT: also one of my last prescriptions the label was telling me to take a different milligram that was different from what the actually dosage of the pill is and the MG of the pills thankfully were the correct dose and only the instructions were slightly inaccurate.

This pharmacy is not reliable at all!! I am beyond disappointed in their lack of proper service. On 2 occasions now I have not received my inhaler and i have not been helped by this sorry excuse for a pharmacy after informing them, while I suffer with COPD and have nearly ended up in the hospital twice this week because these useless pharmacists can't even put the right prescriptions in a bag. Thank you for nearly costing me my life... I will be sure to switch pharmacies.Sincearly,Dave D

Absolutely the worst service I've ever had at a pharmacy in my life.they have trouble filling my medication which was on a five-day prescription and not only did they not call me or tell me they threw it out and threw all my information in the garbage and the moron employee attempted to blame me the owner then came to his aid and they acted as if it was my fault when if they called me I could have corrected with the doctor and had my prescription filled this now cause me to be without my medication for a month and to go to the doctor again in order to get the prescription absolutely the worst service I've ever had in my life shop elsewhere.
