It was good for last minute vaccines. Unfortunately you gave my dog a vaccine that she did not need an already had. When I called, they told me they had no idea how to get a hold of the doctor to see if it was going to hurt my dog.

I am very disappointed with my experience at the Torrington Vetco Clinic. The vaccination clinic has canceled my dog’s appointment twice. My dog needed to get his vaccines in time before getting a medical procedure done. I paid for the “Pup Shield Plus” vaccination package in advance and was scheduled for two follow-up appointments. Unfortunately, we never were able to get my dog’s vaccinations at Vetco due to them canceling. After the first appointment was canceled, I rescheduled the appointment for the following Sunday, which also was canceled. I ended up having to pay for services that were never rendered. I was informed by an agent of Vetco afterwards that the their policy states there are “No refunds, substitutions, alterations or additional discounts allowed for packages.”

Very nice "salon." I bring my cat to have her nails clipped. Good selection of products. Staff is friendly.Edit. Quit going here... nail clipping went from $10 to 12 and they started asking for tips at checkout. Okay, the people there are great and all, so... then they more than doubled the price to around $25! For less than 5 minutes work? Then a tip on top of that? They obviously don't want cat owners' business, so I just get my cat's food from Amazon now. Too bad, I really liked the staff.

I love this little petco, i frequent about once a month to get supplies for my animals. Its clean, cute animals, friendly helpful people. Almost took this little mini dragon home today.

The product I wanted was in store. I ordered online and was able to get the item the same day. Most important was the sales associate that answered my phone call (Stan?) and advised me to drive up front and was there waiting when I pulled up. He was courteous, professional and efficient. I was very impressed with all aspects. Also, I do a lot of my shopping in Avon, Ct and all the associates there have been wonderful to work with. Kudos Petco!

I had a wonderful experience at Torrington Petco! I had never been there before, I was visiting in the area, and was pleasantly surprised to find unheard of customer service! I was greeted with friendly faces and My dog was given much love… I was almost immediately asked if I needed any help, and when I asked where certain things were, I was not only told, but escorted to the correct aisle!I was determined to find a particular item which did not seem to be available, but thanks to a determined employee, I found exactly what I was looking for! Torrington Petco is not only full of fresh inventory, it is clean and the employees are extremely helpful and friendly… Last but not least, they were very warm and loving to my dog Cedric, which is the most important thing!I was also very pleased to find out about signing up and becoming a member, a valued member, as I do not are usually have the patience to wait at the end of my shopping but due to the knowledgeable and informative Clerk, Nick, he made it very appealing and I actually saved a lot of money, which is always a good thing especially these days! I highly recommend it

Very pleased with grooming services and positive help. Misplaced my charge card, went to check in the grooming room to see if I'd left it on the counter. I ended up with 3 people in the store aiding me and it was found on the floor in the the store proper. Grateful for their assistance. Always a positive experience!

It was easy and safe. We were able to shop at home in this uncertain time and call when we got to the store and an employee came out to our truck giving the order to my husband with minimal contact. Will be doing this anytime we need pet supplies as long as this crisis last. Then will be back in the store with your always friendly staff. Stay safe and well

Excellent service. Convenient. Staff is super helpful & friendly. Enjoy my visits. I am oxygen dependent and find shopping super difficult. Love how I am able to order on line and walk thru the door and my order is ready at the register. My dogs are in love with your brand of Whole Hearted Dog Food. They chow it right down. Only food we buy & only store we will shop for our pets needs. Keep up the great work. See ya next month!💜🐾💜🐾

Nice selection of items for a medium sized store. Employees are always friendly and very helpful if you can't find something. One of the groomers was free and helped me find the correct size harness for my dog. I also like that they collect money and food items for dogs in need.

I went to buy crickets and wanted more than were on display, so I asked the young man at the register. He was really nice and I was able to get exactly what I wanted. They always have the registers open. Clean store.

They gave my cat a fur cut. I liked it a lot. I was unaware that the cat had to be bathed. I didn't find this out until I picked her up. It was a big surprise to get a hefty bill. This put my budget off. Future customers with cats should be made aware beforehand. I would have waited to have it done so I could have the money saved

Rather expensive unless you buy the store brand. Their quality is decent but priced at what name brands should be. Name brand prices are ridiculous. Never a salesperson around when you want help. Bob, the fish guy is the only person there who is actually friendly and consultative. He knows his job. Hard to find him sometimes. Our groomer, Tara, is wonderful! We highly recommend her, especially if your dog gets anxious at the groomer. Our dog isn't always friendly, but she just loves Tara.

The young man who helped me check out also was very knowledgeable about foods and things I should look out for in my kittens as well as some advice on my kittens food,he was very friendly as well. Eveyone else is always so nice and welcoming. Always find what I need ,and some!

Never get to use my coupons information only accessed by name and tel. #.I have tons of coupons could not use. Had to set up account again. Girl at register not eager to help. Email for account access should work.Not a good visit.

The grooming ladies are very pleasant and make my dog comfortable he loves the ladies. He is a very nervous dog and I am grateful for their service. Inside the store they have pleasant employees that are just as helpful.

The person who helped me was really nice and helped me with my return and pick up. I told him my dog just completely stopped eating the new food I bought her and he made suggestions and was super knowledgeable about dog food. It was a fast and easy experience.

This is a nice Petco with a good selection of pet products. The store is clean and well organized. I dinged down to 3 stars because the dog food I went to purchase had holes in the only 2 bags they had in stock. The parking lot here is also a logistical nightmare but, I am not going to ping the store for that.

Waited in the aquarium section for 10min before I was helped. An associate came over with another customer I asked if she could help me when she was done. She told me “ other people work here”This is the kind of service we get when we allow big box companies to come in and kill the mom and pop shops.

The groomers are friendly and very caring for our dogs. They do a nice job grooming our dogs.The actual store is clean and well stocked. The prices are high, so while we use the grooming services, we buy our other stuff on line. It since Chewy is a subsidiary of Petco, the money goes to Petco anyway

I used to loathe going to this store... There was always tension with employees and it was hard to get help. Things were disorganized etc...but alas...I have frogs to feed. About six months ago something major changed. Maybe new management? Ever since then the store is way cleaner and I'm always warmly welcomed when I enter the store. All the employees have an upbeat energy about them and I haven't had to wait in a dreadfully long line.

Placed an order online and went to pick it up. I waited 3 hrs for an order ready e-mail. It never came. The manager was really good about it. He said they were having problems with their system. He straightened it out in a matter of 5 minutes.

We have bearded dragons (adopted from Petco), a snake, and we just got 2 kittens, and we get all of our pet supplies from Petco. The staff is super knowledgeable about all types of animals and they are so friendly! When preparing to bring home our new kittens, they were able to answer all of our questions and help us chose the perfect products. Thank you Petco for being such an awesome store!

Had a newborn foster kitten that would not have survived the night without formula- I drove out there hoping to make it before closing time. The two young men who worked there were great -let me in a few minutes past 9pm, got my supplies and were just great! Didn’t catch their names.Store was immaculate with no odor.
