The store itself is a nice looking store but the associates at the deli are very nasty. If you need a special order they will make up a story and say they are closed. The associate Wendy Manager is definitely not a people person. The only decent associates there is Brandon and the cashier's. Very disappointed as I have been shopping there for years.

This review deserves an update from two years ago. 9/2022 - all the comments noted below in terms of their fish, meat and wings all still hold true. The produce department is amazing, too. Fresh bunches of carrots not withering and broken in plastic bags; an array of fresh herbs not seen at any other store; coffee bags that even include Canada's Tim Horton! The cauliflower head I brought home could have won a blue ribbon and the olive bar is extensive. Dozens of cakes to choose from if you need one from a variety of cheesecakes to birthday sheet cakes; Big selection of greeting cards and floral bouquets; Perhaps the largest selection of gift cards I've ever seen anywhere (dozens) from retail stores to cell phone credits. There is a Starbucks café on the premises. The hot wing bar is available daily from 11-2 and 4-7PM.#Great upgrade on this Price Chopper to their Market line now. Aesthetically on the higher end. Great meat department, fresh fish, produce and a hot take-out bar with a variety of flavored wings. Friendly workers.Today, customer service was fair enough to give me two twelve pack cartons of club soda when I told them we'd only bought two the other day, not knowing four had to be bought to get the sale price. ( i.e. we paid ten and should have received four twelve packs according to the flyer.)

No disrespect really! But what is happening to the ground beef it taste awful. I've purchased the 85% 3 times already in the past few months with the same results.. Very heavy in the stomach (sick feeling) and beyond greasy When I form burgers the fat is literally covers the palm of my hand with a thick layer of fat. I should of took a photo. My kids don't even like it and they love burgers .Something isn't right It's 5:00a my stomach feels like I have a stomach bug every time I eat this ground beef. I'm not the only onePlease someone look into this maybe it's your supplier. I'm sorry to put this out here like this... you have pretty good meat and produce.. But there is something not right with this ground beef

ok if you buy mostly the sale items. Stay away from the prepared food as they just taste horrible. Its not my weekly store because I find their prices higher and nothin spectacular for selection. I think they need to get their prices in line with the other local grocery store close by.

Price Chopper in Torrington does not adequately staff their deli on Sundays and Saturdays resulting in a 30-40 minute wait for cold cuts! It’s ridiculous yet the “ there does NOTHING to correct this.

The store is always clean.When they have a sale they're always fully stocked. Friendly staff and always helpful. The employees are always making sure carts are collected in the parking lot and brought back inside.

I love this supermarket. I don't live in the area anymore, but if I'm visiting family nearby I try to stop in for groceries here. They have the staples we need, a few fancy extras you don't get at a standard grocery store, and their flower selection is fresh and different.

Was very impressed with the service, asked a simple question about where something was and associate took the time to walk us to the idem instead of just pointing and telling us where it was. Also seamed like a clean store, and liked how the carts had a spot to hole your phone/shopping list.

Nice new renovation done. Have a hard time finding things. The isles are hard to figure out what's in them. Good cashiers but need and want less self check out and keep the cashiers so they get paid good and they need a paying paycheck

Overall a great place to shop. Unfortunately if you come on a Sunday evening. Don't expect much in the way of service. I waited at the butcher counter for several minutes before I had to physically walk behind the counter to find someone. Both buthers looked upset when I entered to find them both talking and disregarding thier jobs. After asking for help upfront I still waited several minutes until I was helped. After finally getting my order the butcher topped it off with good luck with your London broil. Good food unprofessional staff. (Side note: it was a sirloin I purchased)

Very happy with this store. This is our weekly grocery shopping destination. The employees are friendly and there seems to be enough staff…unlike some nearby stores. It’s very clean too !

I drove from Harwinton specifically to get lunch meat for my wife and child. They were very excited to go home and eat a chicken sandwich. The ticket number was 53. When I arrived my ticket was 56. I waited 32 minutes. Told the gentleman behind the counter that I would like some chicken. I waited that entire time and received a bag of ham, now my family will have to settle for trash, amateur hour. Ask for bird meat, recieved swine meat. Todd please

My favorite place to buy groceries. Great produce, deli and bakery make it worthwhile to check this market out. Make sure you sign up for their rewards card for savings. Shopped today and got a few items that were buy 1 get 2 free. The savings on those items alone made it worth the trip.I especially love their meat section. Their Angus beef steaks are so good.Employees are helpful too.If you haven't shopped here, give it a try!

It was my first time in a Market 32 so of course I didn't know where anything was. I had asked a few workers where to find various items and they were all very helpful and knowledgeable. If they didn't know where something was, they directed me to someone who did know.As for the store itself, it was very clean and had a kind of calming ambient feel to it.Overall I was very happy with my experience.

I always find what I need here at a great price and returning cans and bottles is a breeze. They always have someone at customer service and outside for can returns. Super friendly and if you need to find something anyone will help! Only recommendation is to get a savings card because they always have great deals for card holders.Update: Prices have went up compared to Stop & Shop. Just keep an eye out for sales locally. The sales are always good.

Very nice variety, seems to have just about everything you could want, BUT...Expensive. Unless an item is on sale it ranges from expensive to very expensive. They can often cut their prices in half with there sales prices.

Quality of food especially meats and seafood and in store fruits and vegetables as well as bakery is usually good to high. Staff busy but can be very helpful. Japanese specialty corner is worth a try. It seems to me the folks who run this place could stand to hire some additional staff to improve shopping experience and service.

Overall good quality products. However the staff upfront especially the older women are rude, unprofessional and have no idea what they are doing half the time. These associates should be baggers so that way they have as little interaction with customers as possible. Next and this is something I’ll be reaching out to consumer protection about because it doesn’t seem right. Your grocery service that you offer that is fulfilled by associates who are already employed and on your payroll at this location you exclude sale prices from being honored. For example strawberries are 2/5 when you shop in store, however, they are full price if you order through your app. The yogurt I traditionally get that is under $6 was marked up to over $7 when ordering online. I called up and spoke to someone she said it was an instacart charge. I’m not using instacart I’m asking to use your curbside pick up that was implemented during covid for convenience so why am I being charged more? Why am I being excluded from sale prices? Believe me I get it if i was using instacart and someone who wasn’t an employee of the store was doing my shopping for me then sure charge me extra but even with instacart you get sale prices they charge you a separate fee. Here when you shop through market 32 they hike prices up on sale items and ones that aren’t on sale. I’ve used curbside pick up and online ordering from other retailers…I’ve never paid more and I was never excluded out of sale prices like I am here.

With the interior renovation complete. The place is of beauty. The vegetables and fruits departments are artistic in scope. Huge bins of fresh vegetables waiting for customers to bring them home. Good placement of other goods throughout the store, such as vinegars and oils. Easing grocery access to the masses. I've always enjoyed shopping at Market 32 more so than ever.

Ok I am here rn. Sign says service desk is open 8 am informed by service desk person that they have 10 minutes and directed me to cashier who provided me with what I needed although with a poor attitude. I'm in the service industry myself and if I am tardy or in a poor attitude I would lose my job. This is service by people who don't care about customer service and this store I have been a customer ever since they originally opened as a Price chopper.I really don't think I return anytime soon. I have seen their competition across the street take better service and they are a union shop. It's one thing to be having a bad day but if you are working in customer service you don't take it out on the customer. Remember CUSTOMERS MAKE PAYDAYS POSSIBLE!

Clean and well lit aisles with well stocked shelves. The prices are fair and sales are well placed within the store. Most imprtantly, their produce section is goals. It's by far my favorite area, it always inspires me to cook! If you haven't been, go check it out, they're even open late!
