For hardware and houseware, anything you can imagine, and many things which you can’t! Self check-out available. Customized paint mixing. Extensive department for lawn and garden. Friendly, supremely helpful staff. Bathrooms on site. Ample parking in lot out front.

Purchased a GE Profile washing machine! The salesman was pushy and rude in a hurry and no help! Plus the fact the machine that he pushed us to buy is no good! Many issues! Do not buy washers from Lowes!

Get appliances elsewhere. They will change your delivery date the morning of delivery(happend 3 times). People in the company blame a different departments within instead of actually solving problems or being honest. Go to home depot or your local appliance store will save you a headache

Vast like an airport! You can construct a whole house with everything sold under this roof, down to the smallest details. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Power tools, snowblowers, potted trees and even Christmas lights. No detectable wi-fi, unfortunately. Self check-out is available, and parking is ample in Torrington Parkade, out front.

Update - Lowes ended up giving me a discount for the rusty grill after multiple phone calls.Very long story and still trying to get situation rectified. I have talked to numerous people about a delivered grill (I paid full price) with rust. I am very frustrated to say the least. The manager I talked to last night (3rd person I talked to) was supposed to follow up. He hasn’t called me back and I called this morning and he isn’t working today.

Hello Lowe's help me contact Electrolux so I don't have to keep doing these reviews about how horrible of a company it is. You will see pictures of the parts freezer broken two weeks before Thanksgiving mind you brand new freezer still under warranty I have never been fed so many lies and deceived so many times as I go through this process. Michelle the executive liaison I think she's on vacation someplace she's not returning any phone calls she told me she'd help me I think she lied I hope God forgives her

Love this Lowe’s Home Improvement because of how big, organized, and clean it is when compared to other Lowe’s or even Home Depot for that matter. Does it have low inventory on some common items like spray paint? Yep, but who doesn’t right now. P.S. ALL the plants were heathy! That alone is worth 5 Stars!

Really hate to have to leave a bad review, but complete ineptitude on the part of store/company leaves no choice. Bought a toilet in store that was to be delivered in a week or so, got notification that it was in stock, went to go pick it up, informed it was broken. Informed would receive a gift card for the amount in the mail, not thrilled about that but ok. Waited, waited a couple weeks. Called customer support, “oh we show that it was refunded to the card” called the bank, no. Called back, advised to go to store. Went to store, told to come back when manager was there, came back, “oh they’re in a meeting, let me take your number” days go by, call again, told I would recieve call back next day, no call. Literally spent hours at this point. They have my money, I have bubkis. Told to wait another 2 weeks. If you enjoy wasting your time on earth dealing with these completely clueless people, Shop here. Guess it’s Home Depot from here on out.Update:after waiting longer than the time they promised they would issue a refund, they have yet to issue a refund. And I was told by a supervisor at the call center to “call visa” despite the fact that I have already done so. They still have my money and I still have nothing. They responded to this review that they could help if I called them. Not true. What a shame, I like the store, now I wouldn’t buy a pencilThere.

It seems every time I go in here, there is someone right there to help me.. unlike that other place! Robert helped me find the battery powered lawnmower I needed and an outdoor heater this week.He even helped me get it in the vehicle.

Clean and Bright with Free WiFi and bathroom are very clean infront of the store and if they dont have a item the other orange store is not that far away as i make this place my first stop and pick up a pizza at Big Y next door...great pirce... October 1st and Christmas is in full swing. Check this store for them clearancing out tiles. It's random when they go on clearance but if you could buy a head of your project you'll save a bundle.

I ordered a washing machine online from Lowes the other day with memories in my mind of four years ago when it took five hours for them to bring my order to the service desk. (Yes, I’m a patient person.) This time, I used the app after I realized with the app I can warn them I am coming and they can track me driving to the store. I showed up at the service desk and the representative went about scanning the bar code on my phone to find the order. He went to the back to find the order the disappeared to what I realized later was to get a cart and additional help. The help he found brought the machine out to the truck and then realized I had a brace on one hand. He said to me in a very caring tone that he didn’t want me to lift the crate with him so he sent a text for help. When no help arrived he apologized and went to find the help he needed. He came back with a young lady that seemed to be from the next level up. She apologized for the delay and called for more help. In the meantime there was a young man collecting carts but he seemed to be disabled (probably like me with my wrist) who came over and wanted to help but the original loader said in a very compassionate way that we should wait for other help. Another fellow showed up loaded the washer and I was on my way.I was so impressed with this young group, their commination skills and compassion for each other and for me. They were an awesome team. I live 30 minutes from this Lowes and 5 minutes from their competitor. The extra 50 minutes round trip is so worth it to support this incredible group of teens

First negative experience ever here: Checking out with a Craftsman plastic keeper and the elderly employee at the self checkout took it upon himself to grab the keeper, roughly snap it open, and demand to look inside. In the day and age of COVID do NOT touch my stuff! Not only did I oblige, I held the bucket up, twirled it, and turned it to illustrate it was full of air. After checking out I then showed him my receipt and held up, one at a time show-and-tell style, each item I purchased (the keeper, a box of deck screws, and paper filtration masks). I then wished him the type of day he deserved. I won't shop here again except for curbside pickup as I have nothing but good things to say about that.

Stay away. To many mistakes at the Torrington store.First, they sent a broken stove. Saying it was bought broken (that was not true).Second, they didn't reimburse the full amount.Third, I order a new electrical stove and they sent a Gas.Four, Appliance left in the garage.Fifty, they don't care and the customer has to pay for Lowes mistakes.Stay away.

the worst customer service ever!!!My delivery was rescheduled several times without prior communication so I was basically stuck home waiting whole day - and this happened 6 times. When I called last time about the delivery, the gentleman from Appliances was mean, didn't let me speak up and then he put me on hold for an hour.A store with such bad customer service should really go out of business.

This is my go to place for building materials and appliances. I'm happy with the cost, quality and service. Depending on timing, the lumber can be picked through and you must sort through what's left. I left empty handed on my last visit as no one arrived to operate the panel saw. This was a first and I suspect they were understaffed. I'm assuming this was a one time occurrence.

After a very disappointing experience buying a washer and dryer here, I've stopped going. I've had some 'shaky' experiences with them prior to this, but this was the final straw.The purchase was easy and straightforward, but the support afterwards was non-existent. First time the appliances were delivered, one was broken. Second time they were delivered, they forgot all of the installation hardware, and told us to call back to have someone come back with everything- even though we procured a receipt with all of the appropriate hardware.I ended up hooking it up and installing it myself, due to the poor ongoing support (and we simply didn't just call once- we must've called 10 or 15 times between the two of us to try and resolve it).During the issues we were experiencing, I tried reaching out to the store directly for customer service, and couldn't get through to anyone. That having failed, I attempted to reach out to corporate, and had no luck as well. Almost a month later, someone from the store called me back, but it's irrelevant now- they've lost my business and I will go elsewhere for my future needs.

Pricing similar to Home Depot, much better garden center, friendly service. Whereas Home Depot is heavily slanted to professional contractors, Lowe's seems slanted more to the home owner.

I will never use Lowes home improvement agian they use a 3rd party for installations and if there is a problem you get the run around from Lowe’s . I have been dealing with a front door installation since Jan. 25,2023 now it is April 25,2023 door is still not fixed , parts were never ordered when management said it was ! Wasted 4 days of work so far cause every time they come out to replace door frame Lowes never ordered it, so work can’t be done.

I have been shopping at this location since purchasing my home in 2017. On this particular occasion I was researching stackable washer/dryer units for my 700sq apartment above my garage. I had recently received a Birthday Deal from Home Depot and wanted to compare to Lowes. While browsing the appliance dept...Mr. Gonzales approached with a warm greeting, friendly smile and after introducing himself...offered his help to me. I was not 100% sure at that time what I wanted; so he made me promise to return before buying from the competition. I did about a week later. He remembered me, our discussion and promised to offer a competitive deal to keep my purchase at Lowes. Stephen stepped in to authorize the deal and Lowes got my $1,700.00 purchase. It was such a refreshing and enjoyable transaction! Both of these employees (Brian Gonzalez & Stephen Dubreuil) deserve recognition for excellent customer service! This level of customer service has been sorely missed in the past several years and is lacking in many companies today. Thank you Lowes for keeping the standard high!
