Usually It's in and out.Get what came for quick like While checking out the impulse sellers. Get in line when you have a chance withthe customer in front of you isn't gonna ruin the moment you have come to expect is going to have issues with the checkout.that's my way...😁

Good deals on lots of items,the problem is the staff. One person checking out buyers. Looong lines. Today I was 11th in line with as many behind me. Never any carts there,either they are all over the parking lot or the staff has them filled with merchandise. Store going downhill fast. Will pay a little more for better service elsewhere in Torrington,Ct.

Plenty of parking, lots of nick nacks, party items, house items, food section, and seasonal items to choose from. They're not the best quality but it will do the job. Everything is now a dollar and twenty-five cents. Service was pretty good.

Everything is one dollar as advertised and there are many products to chose from. Quality is equal to the price paid. I have never been unhappy with a purchase here. The staffing is lacking at times and there may be only one cashier and many customers in line so check out process can be time consuming. Overall, good store with fun shopping experience. Great place to shop with kids.

One cashier. Checkout line winding around the store and down an aisle. Cashier had to leave his register to go in back to get someone else to assist. 10 minutes later someone strolls out and SLOWLY finds her way to a register. Ugh. Had to wait in line nearly 30 minutes and the store was not that busy! I called later, a few times actually, to speak to a manager, but no one answered the phone. Big surprise. The worst experience! Never again!

I don't know who the lady was but I was approached and told I had to leave the store immediately because I didn't have a mask. I apologize since I didn't realize that it was a requirement now. She rudely told me it was on the door which I was here a few days earlier and never saw anything requiring a mask and even upon entering the store no one said a word to me. My issue is how I was talked to like I was less then them, the rudeness even though I Apologized and how the lady acted like I was the virus and not just a person who made a mistake. Then she felt the need to escort me out like I was a criminal. After I left the store I watch a man walk in and was immediately told he had to wear a mask to be in the store. Which I don't understand why they waited til I was halfway done to say something and then treat me like I was scum on the bottom of their shoes. I didn't deserve that and I hope the higher up deal with the way their employee deals with certain customers

Aisles a total mess at torrington store,always is! Alot of empty shelf space, out of alot of items. When I got in line there were 6 customers ahead of me and six got in line behind me. 1 cashier as always. The cashier, very bad, poor, horrible customer service. Never said 1 word to me. I asked him 3 diff questions and he mumbled something back,totally jumbled! I had a nice neat stack of 8 greeting cards-I flipped them over to make it easier for him to slide the upc--BUT AS HE RANG 1 AT A TIME HE LITERALLY TOSSED THEM ONTO MY PILE OF PURCHASES. NO GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL TONIGHT!! Going to go to the store in Winsted. Fully stocked always, very friendly staff, cashiers ate pleasant and helpful!! Goodbye torrington store!

I usually have uneventful but satisfactory experiences at this store but today was... interesting. I was shopping on a side of the store and heard the three lady employees, one of which I believe is the manager while another didnt seem to be on duty(?), squealing and talking loudly while running around and spraying silly string at eachother. I ignored this and then went to check out and stood in line while one of the three standing up front checked people out while joking and looking at pictures with the other two. I wouldn't have cared as much had I been in and out quickly instead of being made to wait because they were messing around. Cherry on top was when the one girl checking me out walked away from the register to get a broom for the mess that the string had made without saying anything to me or completing my purchase. Ended up taking my receipt off the printer myself and leaving before she returned. I get that it's a minimum wage job but goodness gracious, save social hour for when there are not people waiting to be helped. If I could've helped myself, I would have.

Woah! EVERYTHING is a dollar. Like ONE SINGLE DOLLAR. That's cookoo bananas!Staff at this location is super friendly. They're extremely good at keeping everything organized as well! Other locations are horrible with organization and cleanliness... But this place is great!

Dollar Tree is exactly as it says it is, EVERY THING costs $1.00! From household goods to party favors Dollar Tree has it. The employees are helpful and the shelves are well supplied. Located in the same plaza as BJ'S. Head up East Main Street

This is the best Dollar store I've ever been to. Clean, neat, organized and everything is a dollar! Toys,clothing, ice, religious items, icecream, personal hygiene items you name it!

This company is great. A lot of stuff are a great item for the value. This Torrington CT store is absolutely disgusting! I am in retail and never leave a bad review unless it’s nevessary. I was in the store maybe a total of 5 mins. When you walk in, the store smells like mold, the carpets are stained and worn EVERYWHERE. Complete trash. I will go out of my way to go to the Winsted store, it’s a shame this location is so trashy. If I could download pictures, I would!

This Dollar Tree location is a small store located in the B.J.s shopping center strip mall, a Dunkin Donuts at the front corner of the lot makes an easy landmark in an otherwise somewhat obscured location.The store is small but manages to carry a wide selection nonetheless.The Torrington location has party and tableware, and filled to order helium balloons.Crafting items are available, usually the most frequently used items such as floral foam, ribbon, artificial flowers, vases and vine wreaths.Limited selection of fresh dairy items, milk usually being pints, cheese, eggs and a few hot dog and deli choices.The freezer section has small portion frozen meat packages, as well as frozen fruits and vegetables, single serving meals, ice cream and frozen novelties.Reading and sunglasses are the best price in town, usually a good selection to choose from.Manufacturers coupons, cash, EBT and debit card payments accepted.The store is always clean, well organized and well stocked. The employees are polite, helpful and really nice.

The quality of the items are great, the stuff they sell is awesome but some of the workers are extremely rude, I was charged twice on my order and I was met with sarcastic remarks and additude when trying to get it fixed..I'll probably continue to shop here only for the deals..definitely not impressed with the lack of professionalism.
