Fair prices and end of season sale going on right now. Food prices for snacks, cereal, etc less than the grocery stores.I like just looking around for better prices on many items that I can't find in other stores.

I was trying to refrain from writing a review because BIG Lots tried to rectify their many errors with my deliveries but to now get a phone call looking for random pieces of a couch...? So we ordered a couch from BL, they delivered us two pieces that looked similar but was not the matching set so I call them they take a week to come back and bring us the match to our couch but after we tried putting it together once again no match so I contact management again it takes another week and finally what should have been done on the first attempt to fix this they send us a whole new set which goes together, cool, great, thanks! Now I get a phone call a week after asking me about 2 cushions? So this company sent us the wrong item twice, inconvenienced us several times we ended up paying more for the couch because on each of the 3 deliveries we tipped, so I guess Karma decided to inconvenience them for me since you guys can't find pieces of the couch. I will not be ordering from Big Lots again!

Have always loved this store. They have a pretty good selection of food, laundry detergents, household items and more. They are doing there part to keep people safe as far as covid goes. You have to have a mask on to be in the store, they have 6' spaces near the register and they are wiping down after use. The staff here are very friendly, very willing to help and helpful when you have a question and need an answer. Willing to go the distance and beyond.

The manager Jim is AMAZING!! He's so friendly and very much a people person. I purchased a couch from him and went back a few dates later and saw two other employees that we're just as helpful.One thing I don't like it's that Big Lots doesn't offer delivery... But that's nothing against the amazing staff!!!

I spent two hours in this store to buy lot of stuff yesterday. Since I didn't carry my credit card I asked them to hold it for me and that i will get it tomorrow. The guy wrote a note stuck it on the cart and put it aside say i can come back and the’ll just look at the number.he was polite. Today I went again to pick up, I don’t see the cart neither the things I choose.The guy in the billing counter looked around and said the cart is not here. They have put all the stuff And wasted two hours of my time to pick up,. I was upset the manager came she didn’t care. I am not sure this is their nature or they have an attitude. One person spoils the reputation of the entire store. Please be responsible and nice to customers. Show some respect to our time too.

Your typical Big Lots store. Similar to an Ocean State Job Lots store. The staff and cleanliness of the store is okay. The variety of items range from groceries to furniture, so there is a little bit of everything there. There's ample parking and handicap accessibility.

Big Lots always has unique and terrific varieties of foreign foods to try. Everything I have taken a chance on was very yummy. The staff really want your shopping experience to be a pleasant one.

Always a good store to go to for cheap bargain prices. Low price sometimes equates to low quality with some items but for the most part, items purchased here are decent quality. Food items are also decently priced and comparable to items bought at other stores. Friendly service every time I have went there for a purchase too!

Amazing prices. Jus4 got an adorable pink little reclinee for my 2 year old for only $25 on discount. Originally ot was $50+. Love finding amazing items and always great prices

Went to the big lots! In Waterbury and tried to purchase a Loveseat. They were out of stock and the VERY HELPFUL associate said there were ones available in the Torrington store. When he attempted to call the Torrington store to confirm he was placed on hold several times, told they were looking, and after over 45 minutes were told THEY WERE TOO BUSY TO LOOK and he should tell the customer (me) to call them tomorrow. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE! I ordered the Loveseat from Waterbury store! Waterbury associates were SO PROFESSIONAL I purchased another piece of furniture in addition that I would have waited on!

Big lots, is definitely hit or miss, especially if you are looking for something specific. But the prices are really good & they do have really great sales & clearance items.

Very disrespectful staff. The manager Casey was every disrespectful. I returned a mattress because the cover to it was making it turn yellow, and lumpy and she gave me problems, and told me I cant return anything anymore and I cant buy anything. They are very unprofessional, they get upset because you return something back. This happened today on Valentine's day. They sell you junk, and disgusting stuff. They just want to sell it and be done with it. Dont believe big lots. Dont buy from big lots, buy from macys or a real furniture company. I got the news media on them, I already called channel 3 news, and I left them a message. I let them know what happened. And I dont want this to happen to anyone else. Enough is enough of them.

Great place to pick up any possible decorating item you can think of. They have furniture as well. Some of the furniture looked nice, and was very comfortable.It would be good for a recreation room.

AWESOME! I've been searching for this angel xmas tree at Big Lots and every location I've called was out. Even the display was sold!!! Until I called the torrington location and Johnathan was an angel to help me. And made me a very HAPPY CUSTOMER by checking the inventory in back and found me the LAST angel. He put my name on it! I named her JURNEE. 2020 has been a hell of a year. 💜😇

They had there annual 20% off they do it once a month my girlfriend bought a couch and a rug and her mom bought lots of stuff and the brother bought a couch week earlier and went in I like that and they gave him his 20% off they are good like that
