My favorite Pet store, nearest to home. They have a couple of the brands my cats CAN eat and WANT to eat. It's always a challenge to find appropriate food for my cats because of their poultry allergy. So, I've pretty much narrowed down choices to a select few.Proper Pets prices are fair, with different specials every time I pay them a visit.The girls that work there always check on me to see if I need any help, which is wonderful. The owner is lovely. She's always so kind. They know me well enough to know my name for a faster checkout process, plus it makes me feel good, knowing that they're so attentive.I enjoy shopping here as opposed to a big box store, where I am well taken care of. I feel it and I know it.

I visited for the first time today. The store is beautiful and well stocked. They have a great selection of adorable homemade dog cookies. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable.

I found The Proper Pet quite by accident after my yellow lab tried to find the bottom of a mud puddle on a Sunday afternoon. Since then, both of my dogs have gotten multiple baths there. The price is unbeatable, the staff is wonderful, and the amenities are top notch. Bring your pet, they supply the shampoo, towels, apron, blow dryer, place to make a mess, and even a small bag of treats to help soothe your savage beast. Just make sure you call first because I'm not the only person who has found The Proper Pet and their bathtubs may be occupied when you get there.Thank you Proper Pet. I cannot understate how much I appreciate you.

Ll the staff was super helpful and friendly with helping me get my semi truck there to get my dog some snow shoes. Got the Canadian pooch shoes and she LOVES them

The staff is always super friendly and willing to help! They also know their products well and have many recommendations for different scenarios with your pet. I've gone in with my fiancee and asked for food and treats and they had plenty of different options to give my cat a better diet for longevity. I've also observed how they take care of the animals who enter the shop and they're nothing but kind and caring towards pets. They also offer samples a lot of the time! This time around they gave me an assortment of cat food samples to try since I mentioned my cat is very picky 😂😂😂

I've been buying food for my dog here for the last several months and I am SO impressed. They asked if there was a variant of the food I'd be interested in them stocking and they started ordering it. Recently I've gone in and it hasn't been there. They recognized that I am one of the people buying that particular food and told me that it was being fazed out by the manufacturer. I was a little upset (not with them) because my dog hasn't adjusted well to any other food so they gave me some samples to try and offered to work with me to find an option that would work well for him. They genuinely care about their customers and their four-legged family members. I appreciate them and I am so happy that they're a part of our community. Thank you, Proper Pet staff!

We love it here!! My mother gave me the suggestion, after our first time we couldn’t resist but to keep coming back. The dog “showers” are so nice. Pixie isn’t a huge fan but she looks beautiful afterward. I love that we can bathe her because if I had to take her to a dog groomer she wouldn’t do well. It’s not expensive and everyone that works there is very helpful!

We love coming here to give our Corgi a bath. They have everything ready for you and have multiple shampoos that you can choose from. They also have little treats for your pup when you schedule a bath. Their inventory is always stocked with high quality pet supplies! I would give a 10 out of 10 if possible.

I just moved to the area and wanted to support a local pet company and stumbled upon The Proper Pet. The place is very nice, I love the setup and the staff are super friendly. I was greeted the moment I walked in. They have a lot, esp if you are looking for healthy holistic food for either dogs or cats. I brought my 4 month old Cane Corso puppy in with me. She's a wee bit feisty but she was greeted with treats and was calm afterwards.I will definitely be coming here from now on for my pet care needs for both my dog and cat.I'm very happy to have found this place. I also noticed an area that you can bathe your pets, which is nice because when my dog is fully grown I think the baths they have will be perfect for her :-)

I love this place ! The people are extremely friendly and they have everything at a great price . Less expensive than the big stores and if you spend 100 they give you 10 dollars off your purchase I think it’s great and they never run out of bags 😀😆

Great little store for local people that don’t want to go to a chain, if you need advice or recommendations, ASK FOR KAYLEE. She is absolutely incredible, so nice, extremely knowledgeable and has been recommending things for us since we got our new puppy a few months ago, and has not let us down. (EDIT: I moved out of town for a while and when I finally stopped back in after almost a year, she still remembered me and the other things I had talked to her about in the past.) Always happy to talk to us and help out, she brings it from a nice little pet store to a great place to shop. Thank you Kaylee, and The Proper Pet.

I like to wash my dog here. Since COVID, it seems the procedure is to call ahead to schedule an appointment. They seem to always have a spot available. Pick out a shampoo, wash your dog, dry off your dog(give your dog a cookie that they provide you with) and then I usually walk my dog around the store and pick out a toy or a snack. Good local place.

You should probably have on your website that the tubs are closed earlier then when you close. I needed to give my dog a quick bath and can’t do it at home. Came in and they are closed. I don’t live close.
