This place is fantastic. They carry a huge selection of dog foods. Including Dry, wet and then fresh and even raw. Also the treat selection is unmatched. Also have pet care and toys. Wont go anywhere else now.

Simply the best place around for high quality pet supplies. Skip the chain stores, these people generally care about the well-being of your pets and are extremely informative. They gave me great advice for my new puppy.Bill was so helpful and took quite a bit of time to make sure that I knew the ins and outs of the products. Top notch. Thanks, Bill!

Great little shop, they carry healthy options and lots of fresh-but-dried treats like bully sticks, duck hearts and heads, dried fish, etc... Lots of nice simple leashes and collars nothing too fancy but I get tons of compliments on the ones I picked out from them. My dog is going nuts now because I decided to take pictures of her snacks, she loves everything I've gotten from them!

They are so helpful. My pup has some new skin issues and the vet can't see her for another week. They were amazing with perfect food recommendations and sprays for her skin. Love this store!

We have been using Thomaston for many years. The staff is always friendly, and I don’t even have to tell them what I am there for. They always seem to remember me and exactly what type of food my dog eats. It is usually ready at the register or they are working on getting it from the back. Their prices are great and I honestly don’t know where else I’d even find the same type of raw food my dog has been eating his whole life from them. Let alone at a price I can afford. As we all know, feeding raw isn’t cheap and it has just gotten more expensive and they do all they can to keep prices down. Not to mention their awesome rewards program. It’s a great surprise when you walk in and find out that your bag of meatball are free that day. I highly recommend Thomaston feed to all my friends and family. They are super educated in all kinds of feed for dogs and cats. They have always been able to answer all of my questions and figure out what would work best for my animal. What’s even better if they don’t have what do you need in stock they will do everything they can to order it specially for you. If you haven’t visited one of their stores I promise you won’t be disappointed!

Thomaston Feed was our go to when our dog was still with us. The staff is so friendly and was always asking us about our dog once she had her cancer diagnosis. They did whatever they could to make sure the food we needed for her diet was in stock every week. They have a great rewards program as well. Really recommend this local pet store!!

I’ve been going here for years! Very informative about dogs and how important it is that your dog is on the correct dog food. Chain store dog foods can really reck havoc on your dogs health, especially when it comes to allergies. My dog is worth it!

I was recommended to go here from quite a few people that I know because of the issues that my dog was having with her allergies. The minute that I walked in the door I was greeted by the staff in a very polite manner. I talked to the owner himself as he was who was recommended to me. The amount of knowledge that he has is incredible. He guaranteed me that he could have my dog getting better within a week of being on the diet that he suggested. It took less than that time for my dog to start showing signs of improvement and I was amazed by the results. Highly recommend this store to anyone that needs advice for there animals. Also had the best prices for anything that I needed.

They have good prices and are good people. They have a bonus buying plan, buy so many a get a few free. It works out well for me and my dog. They have a lot of dog and cat supplies, but also for other animals. I believe they fill propane tanks as well. Very nice clean friendly place. They try to get to know you by name. Who does that anymore.

As always amazing service!! Absolutely love Thomaston Feed and all staff. They provide top quality food for my Dogues and the service is just like the “good old days” delivery is always fast and with a smile! I love that when they deliver the food and my dogs are barking at them that they take the time to say hi and wave to them 😊 (caught on Ring) through the door. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my guys food!!! Thank you to all staff!

I will always recommend this store to whomever, all the employees are extremely knowledgeable about everything they sell and they will not hesitate in helping you and help your beloved pet get the best food possible, even if it'll costs less then what you wanted to purchase.I can wholeheartedly say from my multitude of experiences that Thomaston feed cares about your pet's health, honesty is not a virtue many other businesses care about, they do and I'll easily drive out of my way to shop here.

Thomaston Feed and Grain is "dog heaven"! Everything your dog could possibly hope or wish for is there under one roof--everything from the highest quality animal foods in dry or frozen form to a fantastic array of treats, toys, training items, leashes, collars, and grooming items. Advocates of limited diet foods and/or raw diets will see hard to find choices here in all available package sizes. The knowledgeable staff are awesome and very customer oriented; they can help you with any diet or training question you may have. I have counted on their expertise for many years. My dog LOVES visiting the store because there are always other customers there with their dogs for him to visit with. It's worth the trip from anywhere!

Prices and selection are fine but be prepared for an all-Trump-all-the-time, antimask, antivax experience. Way over the top right wing politics and pandemic denial on display every time I've been there in the last 2 years.Would always prefer to shop locally instead of ordering online but can't support toxic, unhealthy buffoonery.

This is a great store. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. There are so many brands to close from. There are lots of natural snacks to choose from. The best part: where else can you go and be greater by a big ole black Lab? Love it.

I wanted to try giving the local guys my business for buying dog food. The gentlemen in Thomaston feed could not have been nicer or more knowledgeable. I told them the type of dog I had and her age and they brought to the shelf where the product that would be best for her was located and described the flavor options.The one thing I was surprised at was how much the food costs. It was almost double what I'm used to paying. But, this is what I want to do to help those who live and work around me. As a nation, we need to support local manufacturers, stores, and ultimately people. I will continue buying from Thomaston Feed. I urge you to do the same.

This place is great. It's conveniently located off route 8 and everyone that works there is friendly and helpful. Prices are better than the bigger pet stores. And they are more than willing to help you out to your car

Great options of pet food. Good customer service. Most workers are very helpful. I go to the one on Watertown ave. There is an older man that works there- wish I'd caught his name- he is sooooo helpful! What a gentleman! Great customer service! ....but there is a young man (in his 20s) wish I had gotten HIS name- he needs to take lessons from the older man. He wasn't helpful. Didn't seem to "want" to help me. . And I must say THAT is rare in this store because everyone is usually so great! Issue is I ran out of dog food! I faithfully buy from this store! Well the store ran out of the food I buy. This happened before and they have given me food from the smaller bags to hold my dog over. WELL this kid said they ran out of food and he could give me a sample of something. My dog is picky- I said he might not eat it. He said that's all he could do. The store had the small bags of food but I didn't want to ourchase a small bag- my dog is about 70lbs. The boy gave me ONE sample of another brand and different flavor than what my dog is used to....also the sample bag was good for one feeding to a chihuahua!! I was sooo annoyed.BUT this was a ONE time incident... I love the customer service at this store. They usually care about your animal and are always sooooo very helpful!!
