The woman in the pharmacy, Maryann Is so rude and condescending. This is not the first experience that I’ve had negatively with her after today I’ve decided to move all my prescriptions to a different pharmacy altogether.One visit She challenged me on having a coupon and embarrassed me in front of several other customers. this past visit I went to pick up her prescription and she explained to me very rudely that she was very busy and they will get to it when they get to it which is fine I don’t mind waiting. I asked about how long to see if it was worth waiting for or coming back she said about 25 minutes that was fine, an hour later when I got a call that the prescription was ready, she had me get back in line which was another 10 minutes to wait to cash out to then tell me that the part to administer the medication Was not in stock. Not sure why she couldn’t tell me this before. I waited for as long as I did but regardless, she has always been very rude and downright mean every time I’ve gone, the other staff members have always greeted and friendly, but I will never Use the pharmacy again.

Pharmacy workers are unwilling to acknowledge their own incompetence. Waited on the phone for almost an hour before heading directly to the store. Overheard that phones were down from one of the several customers ahead of me in line. After watching customer after customer be denied their medication for some reason or another–mostly all related to the incompetence of pharmacy staff–I was told that the medication we requested was on backorder. After advising that staff should better communicate with customers before they take the trip to the store, I was met with laughter and mockery: “How are we supposed to do that, carrier pigeon?” were their words. In 2023 there are more methods than can be named to successfully communicate with customers. Review after review testifies to the lack of care exhibited by these employees, but their victimized perception of rightfully upset customers leads them to believe that we are the problem. Nobody in the building knows when the phone systems will be repaired, so I expect that the mediocre service will continue for the foreseeable future. Don’t waste your time here.

Pharmacy tech hung up on me twice. Two different locations are in disagreement with their own process of moving a script from one location to another. After explaining to the Terryville CVS that Shelton said Terryville needs to request the script, Terryville said no, Shelton needs to release. I told them I'm not making a third phone call back to Shelton. The tech got annoyed, said she will leave a Shelton a voicemail, and promptly hung up on me without my being able to say thank you or goodbye. When I called back to ask her why she hung up on me, and to speak to the pharmacy manager, she said she didn't appreciate my telling her how to do her job, gave me their name and number and hung up on me again for the 2nd time. I spoke to the Pharmacy Manager in-person when I picked up my script. She was very professional and explained that the reason why they ask customers to call, is it would be faster than if they were to do it. My feeling is, if they have the customer on the phone, they should just take care of it right then and there, not take care of hours later after they've completed their list of priorities. It would be like me telling someone who's asking for help, okay go do it yourself, otherwise you'll need to wait until I get to it, after I've done all my other duties. If there's a policy misunderstanding, the locations should communicate between themselves. The customer shouldn't be the one telling the other CVS what they need to do and they're wrong.

Originally a 5 star review, taken down a few notches. The pharmacy is very friendly. The rest of the staff either doesn't care or gives passive aggressive comments. I was just trying to make a purchase when an employee dressed in plain clothes started talking about how much they get stolen from and wouldn't even let me browse the store. They were very suspicious. I couldn't even look at anything. Thumbs down

Refilled My prescription of a single tube of toothpaste on Friday, its now Wednesday and I went to pick it up and it still not ready. Then the lady seemed angry like she was mad I was there when it wasn't ready and told me it'll take 15 minutes or more to put the tube of toothpaste in a bag for me. Unbelievable, I placed the fill on Friday and I get attitude because I try to pick it up on Wednesday? Did I not give you slow pokes enough time to do YOUR JOB? Pure laziness and rude lady at the pharmacy. I'll be transferring my prescription to a pharmacy with workers capable of putting toothpaste in a bag and stapling it shut within 5 days. Absolutely insane. Don't go here for any prescriptions at all. I've heard nothing but horror stories from friends and family but decided to try them anyways. Always look at reviews before you go somewhere is what I learned. There's a reason this cvs has a laughable 2 stars.

I have always found all the Pharmacist's, to be very knowledgeable and more than happy to take the time to answer any questions I may have concerning my prescriptions. The Pharmacy clerks have always been be very caring and helpful, as well as the all of the CVS employees. I have never been treated rudely, ever! Actually it's the opposite, I have always been greeted by every employee with a smile, and treated as a valued customer!

When I called with a question about my aunt's medication the pharmacist told me to stop talking..and i work for a physician..dont waste your time with this joke of a place. We will be switching pharmacies..she is just plain obnoxious.

Two incredibly rude older women pharmacists more concerned with their lunch break than helping customers. I was in line to pick up meds waiting cor 5 minutes no one even checked on me. Finally they said they were closing for lunch. I said its 1:29 itll just take a moment. And she proceed to count the secons on the clock in front of me until 1:30. RUDE people. I hope they get treated worse next time they need help with something!

Great experience and timely prescription fills. Absolutely no issues. Yes they close for lunch daily at 2 and the weekend hours have changed. Longer Saturday/shorter Sunday. No problem at all.

The worst cvs I have ever been too specifically the pharmacy.. called with a question regarding a medication I normally get filled at a different cvs the women on the phone started raising her voice at me so naturally I yelled back. Decided to go down to cvs to figure out what is going on. Upon arrival the two women one named Barbara in the pharmacy were talking very disrespectfully about me not realizing I was standing right there. As a person who suffers from panic attacks and anxiety this was a horrible experience. Will definitely be reaching out to corporate about this issue. Who don’t know who suffers from medical conditions and you wants to talk poorly about them.

Absolutely awful service. Closed at random times, does nothing to accommodate the patients who could not access medication because of it. I had to have my prescription transferred because they were randomly closed one Saturday and decided to start closing at 5pm on Sundays, so I couldn't make it after work. They gave me an address and landmarks for a different location and then proceeded to transfer my prescription to an entirely different location than the one they sent me to.

This review is for the pharmacy, specifically the pharmacy manager.If I could provide negative stars I would, as her behavior was absolutely unacceptable.Not only did she refuse to sell something that I have purchased from multiple CVSs in multiple states over the past two decades, but she refused to give a reason why. When I called corporate they informed me that the product could have been sold, meaning she wrongfully endangered an immunocompromised person by forcing them to make a return trip.Further, she provided zero sympathy or understanding, literally lecturing that it was my fault this situation arose -- despite this being a unilateral decision made by a clerk with the illusion of power.This further escalated when a customer got in my face calling me names and profanities, to which she did nothing to defend me and actually seemed pleased the situation had escalated.If you need a pack of gum, this CVS may be okay. If you need the pharmacy run away fast, at least until J. Burns is no longer in charge of their incompetent pharmacy.

One star only because I could not leave a zero or no stars. Had my mother at Waterbury ER tonight, serious pain, they sent pain meds via e-script before her discharge. 20 minutes after her discharge they did not have the script yet? I had to wait 30 minutes in the parking lot then called to check on it. No answer after being on hold 15 minutes. Went in, one clerk, one pharmacist and both seriously agitated. Was told 40 minutes. Took her home, came back only to spend 20 minutes in the drive thru. Elderly mother woman in pain for longer than necessary due to inept, unconcerned management and employees. Worst service ever. Switching her to Walgreens.

I have decided to no longer shop at this particular location. I dislike having self checkout as your primary option especially when the store is adequately staffed. The items I wanted to purchase did not ring up at the correct pricing. I was told the discount would only apply if I had a CVS card however nowhere on the sale labels does it say that. Please get this store's act together. I know CVS can be better than this.

This is on the pharmacy onlyRudest staff I have ever seen! You can walk up to counter and stand for a good 5 minutes before they decide to acknowledge you. They will stand right in front of you and talk (sometimes about patients) as if you don’t exist. Pretty sure I haven’t ever see. A smile or heard a thank you etc. just a miserable unhappy staff and I wouldn’t be there if my insurance didn’t require it.If I wasn’t disabled I would go to a different CVS in another town

This has to be the least helpful pharmacy that I have ever used. The pharmacist as well as the clerk were rude and not very helpful. Due to their inability to type in the right information they refused to give me my prescription. They are really incompetent and their rudeness an inability to fix the problem in which was on there end only shows that customer service is not a priority. I am going to use Walgreens or another pharmacy

The absolute worst pharmacy I have ever gone to. Not CVS. This particular pharmacy. I have picked up multiple prescriptions from the over the past few years and every time they have an unfriendly attitude. Today my wife was told her prescription would be ready AT 5. We received a text at 4:40 that it was ready. I got there at 5:20. And after standing at the pick up window for a minute, the pharmacist who saw me standing there the whole time asked "you're not waiting for a prescription are you?" I said yes. She said "we closed at 5". Apparently they run on a 1950's schedule. I am canceling the prescription and making my wife switch to the bristol cvs near the dunkin donuts where they are very freindly and helpful every time and don't close at 5 on the weekend and tell you your prescription will be ready AT THE SAME TIME THAT THEY CLOSE!

Awful pharmacy. Only had one pharmacist ever even be somewhat nice to me. I had an awful case of strep last year. My doctor sent my prescription to the pharmacy and said it would be ready by the end of the day. I went before closing and they said it was almost done, but I wouldn’t be able to get it until opening the next morning. That was fine. The next morning I sent my fiancé to get my meds and they weren’t ready. My fiancé said that they were supposed to be ready in the morning and the pharmacist started to give him an attitude. They said it would be ready an hour later. He goes back again and it still isn’t ready. The pharmacist seemed inconvenienced by my need for medicine. I was in so much pain and would have gone down to talk to them if I could have, but I couldn’t. My mom ended up calling them and getting mad at them and by the end of the phone call they said it would be ready in 5 minutes. About an hour earlier than when they told my fiancé (once again) it would be ready. I finally ended up getting my medicine almost 24 hours after I should have started taking the meds. I’m never sending a prescription there again.

My doctor called in to fill a Prescription for me the lady that answered the phone was working on 1/23 said her name so fast you couldn’t Hear it, this happend to my doctor and I between 3-5 today. she was very rude to my doctor, said that I’m not a patient here and hung up. so my doctor called me to let me know what happened and ask if there somewhere else she can send my prescription. so I then called the pharmacy at about 420 I was put on hold for 7 minutes when the lady finally answered and asked what she can do for me I explained to her what happened when my doctor called and she then hung up on me . HORRIBLE STAFF.

I have had the misfortune of having to get my families prescriptions at the CVS in Plymouth, CT for some time. EVERY person in the pharmacy department has been some of the most miserable human beings on the face of the planet. Why any of them are employed in jobs dealing with the public is as mind boggling as the reality that they actually collect a paycheck. For three years I've watched new pharmacist and some techs come and go. Each one as bad or worse than the other. Since, they were miserable PRE_COVID-19 I decided that there was absolutely NO way I was going to deal with that store during the pandemic. Life is difficult enough than dealing with people like them. No other CVS location in the four different states I've lived in have a staff as horrendous as this one! It would be better to close it.

Bad customer service at this pharmacy. Waited in the drop off line for over 15 minutes november 16th appx 7pm - while 2 employees helped one customer in the pick up line. Not ONCE acknowledging either myself or the customer behind me. Then they proceeded to take new customers picking up prescriptions. NEVER in my life have i experienced such rude customer no-service. When i asked if the drop off was open, i was told, it is only us two behind the counter with looks of bewilderment that someone asked. The fact they represent CVS Customer service, will continue to keep customers going elsewhere . good luck cvs

I am so disgusted in the" manger" Tracy ..I went there for my 8 month old baby to get him his formula and the lady said let me call the manager after they had like 20 of the cards that you hold to get that particular formula..Anyways the chasier must of been new so tracy comes down and they check the computer and say's they have four upstairs..So tracy said to the chasier you have never seen the upstairs let you show up (mind you I have a big baby that needs his baba ;( ..) so I said is there any way you can go get it because im kind of in a rush considering I had to get home..So she gives me a nasty look amd walks away and then the phone rings infront of me the chshier picks it up I hear TRACY say tell her we are OUT😂👺 of it...So just because i asked u if you could help time wise you won't serve my baby formula. I normally go to the cvs in CT on north St. Where they are always happy and nice and willing to go above and beyond because CVS you can check my master card i spend all my money at cvs diapers,wipes, meds,EVERYTHING..Anyways I think this store needs a clean up terryville ..Also CVS I called to make this complaint but, your answering machine said you aren't able to take complaints on Sundays and hung up...All I wanted was some formula im so extremly disgusted because look at the computer it should be right the cards where one thing but, saying you have four upstairs amd won't feed A BABY? this will not be the last you here from us!

I have never experienced such an unprofessional manager in my entire life Traci has no clue how to speak to employees or customers she opening admits she is tired and over worked she embarrass the staff that she should be mentoring, her rudeness and facial reactions makes you feel as if you are botheringing her she openly admits the register has glitches and it’s not her issue this was a very nice store now it seems as if the hiring is coming from the bottom of the barrel I will no longer spend my hard earned money in a store that has no customer service skills people should not have to be subjected to a hostile attitude because Traci is having a bad day or just does not care Shame on you CVS local business need the best customer service to keep the area growing but not with this type of service please correct the very huge mistake so you keep the business were it belongs.
