Fleming’s has a bit of everything any time of the year. Huge selection of pet food and supplies, with lots of bird feeders and seed too. Propane, sheds, Forever Furniture, and delivery of bulk soil & stone set the scene outside! The garden center is stunning in season 😍 A must see if in the area!! They also carry local raw milk, eggs, and yogurt!

This is my second post to complain about their firewood. Last week they pawned off the idea that it didn’t start to it being a natural product and “aged a year anyway.” Really? As I said last time, I couldn’t get it going with Fatwood and lamp oil. It’s just useless. Today I took a few logs I had stored uncovered for a year—guess what? No problem. Their wood isn’t a year from being cut—you can still smell it. That isn’t dried wood, that’s wood someone cleared and split and dumped. Vintage: last month?

Continued sale of horrible invasive plants such as English ivy and Japanese barberryLack of stock for spring blooming native plants. Good ones to add would be: Virginia bluebells, woodland phlox, golden AlexanderOther than that my review would be 5 stars.Material products are great, don't ever buy the 5 gallon bucket of anything (not worth it)Good mulch, compost etcGood products in store.

Great products! But don't get the "5 gallon bucket of..mulch, stone, etc"It's a giant rip off. 15.99 for 1 bucket.When one yard is like 65.99But the thing with one yard, it's like 50 buckets.I think they should lower the price for bucket of something, at least half.

Just got new, nice turtle or tortoise for the lawn. Always stop by this store for lawn decorations when we visit family in Stonington. Bought a lovely ceramic fish there several years ago and it's brighten our lawn in the summers ever since. Lots of great selection on outdoor decorations, plants and lots of feed selections too.

We get our Christmas tree here every year. Good, quality stock. Even the landscape fabric stakes are times better than I can get elsewhere. And they carry Milorganite! Best lawn fertilizer there is, IMHO.

Loved Flemings! This was our first time there. They have everything you could need for your outdoor projects. They have an extensive selection of animal products for your pets or your barnyard creatures. As a small, local business we strongly recommend they are supported. The staff was warm and friendly. The store was neat and clean. There's ample parking and it's conveniently located. They have a great selection of plants when spring rolls in.

I went for black sunflower seed and snagged a 50 lb. Bag for my greedy little bird friends for the winter. The staff were friendly and provided great guidance. Unique place to wander around in for animal products and garden stuff. Mums were everywhere, prices are reasonable. Highly recommended.

I love Flemings! They started carrying one product specifically for my dog when I requested it and they have a really good selection of pet products! Everything from food and treats to supplies and toys and even coats for the dog. Their flowers and garden sculptures are awesome, they have great Christmas greenery, and also carry locally sourced eggs and milk! I am there weekly and they greet me by name. Cannot say enough about this store. The employees rock, too.

Staff is extremely nice and helpful. And dogs are allowed to shop inside and outside of store. Really cute ducks and bunnies too. Lots of organic pet foods and treats. Dogs love this place. Please, no aggressive dogs.

5 stars for employees, they are great. This rating is for the wood out front for sale only. I love this store otherwise. We bought a yard of firewood and it doesn't make flames. Just kinda smokes and smoulders, no matter what you do. I burned up every kindling and cardboard in my house trying to get a real fire with this wood. I imagine this would be fine in a wood furnace or wood stove, Maybe? ...but if ambiance and flame in your fireplace is what you're after, prepare to be sad. Had to buy gas station bundles to mix in with it so we could burn through the yard we bought. Really wanted to buy in bulk, without buying a whole cord but this wood was really disappointing. Perhaps it's because it's stored right out in the open with no coverage from weather?

Fleming’s has been my go-to for horse hay and feed for years. It’s always great quality and they deliver which takes a huge chore off my list. In the summer their garden supplies stay stocked long after every other store’s and the staff is very knowledgeable. Can not recommend them enough.

Always a great place for all your pets needs, big and small, garden/lawn needs, some cold had its and toys to make whatever you are doing at hime or in your farm easier. Staff is always helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. It’s the only place I go now for my fur babies

I shop here for supplies for my chickens as well as honey. they have a great variety of products but every time I go the woman at the register is always busy doing other things and seems annoyed to have to check me out. I rarely get a hello or thank you. I get you are running a business but I am the business.

Great local business. Went to buy a birdfeeder, seed and a Shepards hook hanger. When I put things together the hook was too low, so I needed a taller one. Swapped it out no problem, even without the labels for the old hook !

Bait and switch bulk products. I received a different product than I purchased. Flemings refused return (excessive weight). Flemings blamed their vendor for selling a sub-par product and refused to make it right. They basically stole $400 from me. Neighbors have since provided me with similar stories. I WILL NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN.UPDATE: Owner's response is a lie. I spoke with 2 different managers and was told specifically that it was the vendor's fault and they refused to provide either the product I actually purchased, refund, or any other resolution.

Fleming's is listed as a animal feed store which it certainly carries a large array of but it is so much more. In addition it carries garden supplies, plants, statues, mulch, firewood and more. Sales associates are always knowledgeable and friendly.
