The French onion soup alone was reason for us to come back the following day before leaving Mystic. The broth is delicious, and the cheese is flambéed perfectly. Fresh fish. Properly cooked veggies. You can tell the cooks are proud of their work, and the service is great. The drinks are excellent (if you intend to have someone else driving, order the “floater”).

Delicious! The food is great, with generous portions. The pulled pork was awesome and corn bread didn't make the pic (eaten too fast)! It was all tasty and the servers made sure we had everything we needed. Love that there were fans running on the patio, made the day really comfortable. There are lawn games to occupy the kids and would love to come again. Highly recommend!Parking: Parking was fine, but it was not busy when we dined.Kid-friendliness: Lots of lawn space and games to keep kids occupied. The kids menu is pretty standard.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheel chair accessible ramp goes up to the patio. No steps to get inside.

Another great spot to stop in the summer on the motorcycle. The food was absolutely delicious and I didn't find the prices bad compared to the other restaurants we've been to. It was small but perfect, and in this area, you never find good collard greens. All of the food we tried was delicious and will definitely go back.Kid-friendliness: The hidden playground on the side of the building is genius.

Great place for outdoor and indoor dining. Outside has heaters at the tables to keep you warm when it's cold. Food was delicious! The calamari and pretzel bites for starters were hot and fresh. The fish n chips was a tasty battered cod with fries. Finally, the lava cake was a perfect close to the experience. Our server was also the bartender and very friendly, consistently came to the table to take care of us. Recommend dining in for great service and food!

Take the kids! Take the dogs! Enjoy the ambiance of this great little restaurant.First off -- the portions were impressive, especially in a tourist town. The Lobster Mac and Cheese and Fish & Chips were specifically generous.The Lobster Mac and Cheese was everything you want. There were huge chunks of lobster on top and through out. It was baked, which is awesome, because bechamel is great, but baked takes skill.The Fish and Chips were lovely. The fish was flaky and meaty, the fry excellent, not heavy.We really enjoyed everything we had, including the local beer. Only suggestion, keep the waters coming!

Delicious food great atmosphere and friendly staff. Lots to do outside, they had corn hole, a ring toss game and a few other games.Bonus points for having a changing table for a baby in the bathroom!! Very awesome

My son wanted a relaxed spot for his rehearsal dinner. In spite of the rain, It couldn’t have been better. The food was delicious. We had the barbecue buffet. The chicken was moist, and the smoked brisket was to die for. All the sides were like homemade. To top it off the service was amazing and the event was priced fairly. We highly recommend The Dogwatch for your next event

Went here for our favorite guy’s birthday. There are 2 locations, this is the one not by the water. Still is a great place to go enjoy outside dining (especially due to COVID). Sadly half the party we were with were not happy w/ their meals. I will say the tuna is delicious & drinks were great.

We love the food. But will go to the one in Stonington for now on. I had left a message on the reservation that Michelle, our waitress, obviously never read. We were put at a small table by the bar, and they allow overflow of people to stand near bar, which meant we had people standing right near our table while we were eating.The wait staff in Stonington goes above and beyond, And actually read any request, and / or special occasions.

Arrived at this place with my puppy in tow and was warmly welcomed. Very nice patio seating with high and low chairs surrounded by cool wall-hanging art. Great beer selection. Menu is not overwhelming. I went with the Lobster BLT, wife went with the classic Lobster roll. Both were well exceuted and very tasty. Since we frequently come to Mystic, we will definitely be back!

I would highly recommend this restaurant! A group of 7 of us were going to see the Lobster Trap Tree and wanted to get some dinner after. I called the day before looking for reservations and the women who answered (I wish I asked asked for her name. She was a pleasure to speak to in the phone) was very apologetic for not being able to accommodate our group at that time but she suggested I call back then next day as reservations can get canceled. I did make the call the next afternoon and spoke to Lizzy. She was so helpful and after a brief hold on line she moved some things around and was able to have 2 tables for us. She was also our server and was fantastic! I told some friends of our who couldnt make it that night and we are already planning to visit again soon :)

Decent BBQ, acceptable seafood.We got pulled pork nachos and fish & chips to rate its competency in both BBQ and seafood. Both came out with a passing grade. Pulled pork was tasty with smoky flavor. Good size fish patty served with cole slaw and fries. Cole slaw was so soggy, not worth eating.A good and clean place. A nice addition to the casual dinning option in the area.Service could be better. We waited for a good 20 min for our food and the restaurant was not busy when we stopped in. The waitress that served us today was friendly, but unavailable. Most of waitstaff was hidden inside to avoid the heat.

Stopped in at Dog Watch Mystic for lunch last week with my brother and we had a wonderful time! We loved the spacious outdoor seating option and the fact that it was dog friendly. We ordered the fried chicken sandwich as well as the smoked pastrami sandwich. Both sandwiches awesome.. juicy, tender meat and the coleslaw on the chicken sandwich was delightful. Good service and great local beers as well, will be back.

Food: 4/5 - Was a pleasant meal outside, the food was average so nothing to complain or rave about.Experience: 5/5 - Now this is where the worth was. The seating was mainly outdoors with colorful umbrellas and great lights. Very much a place to go on a nice day!!X-Factor: Even though we waited 20 of a 30 minute wait, the venue is outside and they provide games! Cornhole was the main game, but there was a delightful seating area around a fire, another bench for waiting, and a small playground for kids.

I wish I could give this 6 stars. We ordered take out and had a 20 minute drive so I wasn't expecting the food to be great given the time between picking it up and eating it.We ordered several entrees and were all blown away with how good the food was! Highly recommend the lobster rolls, lobster Mac and cheese, and brisket grilled cheese.
