I should’ve made this review a LONG time ago but I’ve gotten 2 puppies from this location. The maltese on the left I got a year ago & the Shihpoo on the right I recently got. (German shepherd was a rescue)The owner has always been so welcoming & helpful. When I decided to get a 2nd puppy I made sure to come back to him & only him. He’s treated me more so like family instead of “a paying customer” 10/10 would recommend ❤️

We just brought home our newest family member yesterday and couldn’t be happier!Oleg, the owner of Smart Puppies, made our puppy experience very enjoyable. He was professional, provided us with valuable info & was very responsive throughout the whole process. The pups in the store have plenty of place to roam and play, and Oleg provides them all with an abundance of love & attention.If you’re looking for a pup to add to your family, Smart Puppies is the place!

Eve was absolutely incredible. I got to play with the pups and she recommended the one she thought would be best for me after us speaking all day. She was super responsive, and even after the taking home my little man she still maintained contact. I’m obsessed with my dog

This has been an absolutely wonderful experience. From the first phone call, Eve was very kind and helpful. There were so many adorable puppies to choose from. After selecting a darling little female Shih Tzu, the purchase process was smooth and stress-free. I was so happy to learn that they could deliver the puppy right to my home (this was fantastic news, since I live an hour & a half away). Oleg arrived with my new puppy and he was wonderful. It is clear that he genuinely cares for the puppies. As for my new puppy- she is a total gem. Super sweet, smart, and healthy. We have named her Holly aka Hollywood...and we fell in love with her right away. She is the perfect addition to our family. Our 1 year old male Shihtzu is so happy with his new sister. I highly recommend Smart Puppies for anyone who is wanting to welcome a new puppy to their family.

I stopped by this weekend and a guy was sitting at the far end of the store. It was hot in the store and the door was open. They had fans hanging from the ceiling but were not on. Stopped by the store as we are looking to adopt a puppy. The guy never came over to ask if we have questions, or were interested, or if we wanted to come in and see the puppies. He just stayed sitting at the back corner which was kind of dark as well. I felt a little weirded out and left. Not the best experience with this place.

I just got a new puppy from Smart Puppies and the experience has been great. Our family walked into the store after seeing the adorable puppies playing, and we fell in love. We felt welcome and were able to meet and play with the puppies at leisure. I was unsure if the new puppy would get along with our dog at home and Oleg was kind enough to bring her over to our house to meet our dog the next day. We had ample time to see our dog and puppy interact and the rest is history.Oleg clearly takes great care of his puppies. Our new puppy is well adjusted and healthy. The fact that the puppies are not caged and able to play and live together makes a big difference. Our puppy already knew how to sit and use the pee pad! Even after our purchase, Oleg has been available for questions and advice. I highly recommend getting a puppy from Oleg at Smart Puppies.

Oh my gosh, I cannot tell you how wonderful ‘Smart Puppies’ is. Oleg seemed to not only love the puppies, but he made us feel like he cared about us as well. So, if you want a little snuggler, from someone with a big heart, go see Oleg and all his furry friends! Trust me, it will definitely put a smile on your face : )

Smart Puppies in Stamford CT is the best place to get a puppy in the tri-state area.Oleg takes such good care of the puppies in the store and he never pushes sales. He is exceptionally patient in making sure people understand the responsibilities of having a puppy. He prepares them for such a beautiful addition to a family. He also actively listens to what clients want - their needs and wants.Definitely come here!PS The negative reviews are lacking credibility and just show antagonism.

Amazing concept. No cages and the people here are very nice. They are happy to have you inside and play with the puppies. They are live-streaming 24/7 so you can keep up with your friends :) they definitely take good care of them!

This place is a gem! A new spot to hit stamford and it’s great! I went to check it out today and the owner is an absolute delight! He truly cares for the dogs and who takes them home. You can come here and get to know the dogs, relax and cuddle them, and if you so wish to take one home the owner makes the process easy. This isn’t like any place I’ve ever been to. The dogs are happy and running around in a giant play space. You can tell they are loved. I will definitely be back to play and when I’m ready for my next dog I will be coming here!

Amazing place in downtown Stamford, I had a unique experience interacting and playing with the puppies, the owner loves the puppies so much that they haven’t seen any cages. I love the environment and being able to take pictures with them at the princess chair. Definitely an amazing environment and will coming back soon.

I fell in love with the pups at this store and plan to get a puppy from there soon. Pups there are happy, playful, sweet, clean, and super friendly. I got to hang out there for a bit last week and I cannot wait to go back. Since then, I've been watching the pups via live feed. They play together so nicely! They take naps. and then socialize and play with each other some more! I could see that they are learning potty training from a very young age, so smart!What I love most is that they are never kept in cages, which is so important to me, they're "free range" puppies. They are spending time in a great environment and are well cared for. They have that sweet puppy smell. It gives me so much joy to watch them via live feed anytime I want to.Can't wait to get my puppy baby from there soon.

I stopped by yesterday for Grand Opening. Wow great location and opportunity to interact and play with puppies. It was a blast playing with the puppies. Owner has excellent knowledge of breeds and very nice store. Smart puppies is a smart way to buy a puppy for sure.

Getting our fur baby from Olge at Smart Puppies was the BEST decision we ever made! Olge was so kind and caring, answered the many questions we had, and was patient with us throughout the entire process. All of his puppies are well taken care of and loved! Oleg knows what he's doing. Had us sleep on it for a bit before we made the final decision to bring home a new family member. His puppies are priority and he vets well. The puppies are so attached to him it's hard to bring them home but it just shows how well he cares for them while they're with him. Can't recommend him enough!

After shopping around and having a horrible experience everywhere else this place was amazing. The puppies are all adorable and I wish I could take every single one home! We got to play with them all and we bonded with a couple right off the bat. Oleg was extremely helpful and patient with all of our questions. Can't recommend this place enough

I've never been to such a clean organized and relaxing puppies store.The associate lets you pet and play with any of the puppies there without feeling pressured to purchase them. I can not emphasize enough how clean this store is.AMAIZING ! Location is GREAT. Highly RECOMMEND.
