My recent visit to Canine Coiffures LLC left me utterly disappointed. Despite the convenience of their location and the promise of professional grooming services for my beloved pet, the experience was marred by abysmal customer service and outdated payment options. Shockingly, in this day and age of digital transactions, Canine Coiffures still refuses to accept card payments, severely limiting customers' payment options.Upon arrival, I was met with indifference from the staff, who seemed more preoccupied with their own tasks than attending to the needs of customers. The lack of professionalism was evident throughout my interaction with them.Moreover, the quality of service did not justify the inconvenience of their payment policy. I cannot in good conscience recommend Canine Coiffures LLC to anyone seeking reliable pet grooming services. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere for a more customer-friendly establishment.

BEST GROOMERS EVER!! This place is reasonably priced and made sure my dog was comfortable. My dog usually is shaken up after getting groomed but when I picked her up she was completely fine. Thank you so much for making her feel great!

I thought I found a neighborhood groomer that could take care of my 3 yrs shih tzu. First 2 months all was well and she charged me the rate for shampoo, brush and trim.Well on the 3rd time she claimed that he was too matted and she would have to cut him down. I told her to just trim him and I'll do the brushing out. She charged me full price.I go back 5 days later now that I thoroughly brushed him out and asked for her to now give him a trim. She said bring him back tomorrow.The next day when I returned to pick my dog up she charged me FULL price again. And said that she would be increasing the price by $15. I was greatly surprised and asked what happen to the original price she had been charging me??? With the language barrier she acted like she didn't understand me when I asked her why was she charging me full price when he was just there 6 days earlier. Very disappointed and felt taken advantage off. And she was always rude. I was attempting to deal with her for the convenience.

I went to this groomer a couple months ago and I was very satisfied with the results.This is the pet grooming place in all of Stamford. I brought my two dogs here and immediately felt at ease - the lady behind the counter was so polite and professional. I knew that my dogs were in the right hands. I saw her begin washing my dogs and she seemed really gentle and caring. She was clearly dedicated to her job and I expected only the best. I was very pleased when returning to pick up my dogs.They were returned to me looking fantastic, and the best they have ever looked. I would highly recommend this place.

Called the groomer to get a quote on having my cats bathed. They refused to take them because they’ve never been to the groomers before. How is that a good business practice.

This has to be the worst place for grooming my dog. Mercedes butchered both of my puppies eat lobes and told me what she did when I went to pick up my puppy and assured me that he was going to be ok. Next day his ear lobes kept on bleeding profusely so I called his vet and took him in immediately. The vet said that my puppy’s ear lobes were severely clipper burned and the ear lobes we’re infected. I reached out to Mercedes with pictures of his ears and the vets diagnosis report and all she told me was that is was not her fault and denied that she even clipped my boys ear lobes, but also told me that the vets are making up stories to get their medical bills paid. Not only they are liars, but are not reliable nor responsible for their actions. Canine Coiffure is a butcher shop for dogs and Mercedes is the butcher.

I really wish I had read the reviews before bringing my dog here. They all seem to be consistent with bad grooming. I brought my dog here as our normal groomer was booked out for some time. I asked that she be bathed and get a good brushing. I was a little skeptical when i walked in (no parking and a shop that looked like it was on the verge of closing with empty shelves). I was told that because she was such a big dog and had a lot of hair it would cost $120 which was about what we normally pay elsewhere. I was originally told that I could pick her up anytime after she was done before they closed at 5. I was later told (at 3:30) that "i have a dentist appointment, you have to be here by 4." I rushed to get over there.When I arrived I was told that they did not take credit cards. Seriously, what legitimate business doesn't take credit cards? I told her I would have to come back and pay. She took my dog out of a kennel (where she was sleeping) and she appeared to be very drowsy, confused, and nervous. She's usually very excited and happy. Clearly not acting like herself. At first glance she looked pretty, she looked like the groomer got a lot of hair off of her. When I arrived home I really took a look at my dog. The groomer cut all of her hair! To make matters worse, she shaved her down to skin behind her ears, behind her legs, and up her stomach as if she was prepped for surgery. I have never seen anything like this. It was horrible. I will admit that she had a few matted spots but this is normal for her as a long haired shepherd. She has been groomed a hundred times and NEVER had to be shaved. It's clear that the groomer just did not want to be bothered with brushing and found it easier to just eliminate ALL of her hair. After seeing her stomach shaved to skin (where there were no mats) I was convinced that she was either drugged or held down to shave there (which would explain her behavior when I picked her up). I was furious and felt guilty for trusting this person with my dog. I waited two days to speak with the owner/"groomer". When I finally thought we could have an adult conversation about what happened with my dog the groomer got very aggressive with me on the phone. I explained to her that I wanted to come in and talk to her and figure something out about payment. I apologized for not paying the next day as promised but that I was extremely upset and needed a couple days to cool down. I never said that I would not pay her but I also did not want to pay $120 for what she did to my dog. I believed that she would hear me out (like any GOOD business owner) and that we could come to some kind of agreement. Instead, I was threatened that if I did not come in and pay the full amount today that she would call the police. I was stunned. If this were my business, I would want to hear feedback from my customers to better my services. This was not the case. I even told her that I never said I wasn't going to pay her, in fact, the first thing i said was I need to speak with you when I come to pay. As defensive as she got and as aggressive and threatening as she was, I no longer felt that going in to her shop was a good idea. It was also a good indicator that she has had similar complaints in the past.After her harsh attitude and threats I told her she can take us to court. I have pictures of the terrible "hair cut/shave" my dog got (that was not asked for) and a letter from previous groomers as well as our vet (she has itchy hot spots where she was shaved). Worst experience at a groomer EVER! Do not go here if you care about your pet.

We had a bad experience with this company. We recently dropped our cat to get groomed. They did such a bad job. Our cat had patches of hair all over and a huge chunk missing from his head where it looked like they slipped with the clippers. It didn't look like they took any pride in grooming our cat. They also never brushed him off after and he was filled with hair as well as our carrying case. I contacted them to discuss my concerns and they didn't even have the courtesy to contact us back. I was so disappointed with this place.

The WORST!!!! ZERO STARSFirst of all-if you think you're going to get a deal bc this place is a little shabby- you're not. $64 for a summer cut which is basically a shave.I brought my 11 year old shih tzu to Canine Coiffures today for a haircut. He is blind and has had one eye removed so I asked if they could just keep a little hair around the eye that was removed so that it didn't show but short everywhere else.I went to pick him up and his face wasn't cut AT ALL! I was told that he moves too much and he's too difficult. First of all, in 11 years I have NEVER had this problem or been told that (we just moved up to CT last month). My last groomer loved my dog and used to tell me how sweet he is. Second of all, if you didn't do the job all the way then don't charge the full price. I was charged $64 for this 1/2 cut.He now looks more pathetic than when he had his eye removed.I don't know if I'm more upset at having had to pay full price for a job that's incomplete or that she acted like it was totally normal to give up on the job you were hired to do because it was "too hard."The icing on the cake? Now I'm gong to have to pay even more money to bring my dog somewhere else.

I cannot say enough about Deanna and her grooming services. She is great at what she does, great care is always taken with each client and she is especially good with our husky and all of his fur! Highly recommend

We had a poor experience with this place. Dropped our dog as we normally did for several months earlier and tech told us not to leave because she could wash our dog while we waited. Our dog just went their for nails and shampoo; no cut. So I said ok figuring it would be 30-min. or so. This chick sprayed my dog down ran a towel over him and requested $30-bucks. I paid her and told her I would never come back. This place is a JOKE!

DO NOT TAKE YOUE DOG HERE! I took my dog here because I was out of town and this was one of the few that was available. She not only gave my dog the worst haircut ever (which is not a big deal) but injured him by cutting his nails so short way past the Quik, which means he must have bled and screamed and cried which breaks my heart. Like so short I can’t even believe she would think this is ok. And not just one. Because maybe you don’t know the dog and you make a mistake on one. But all of them on his front paws. I couldn’t believe it. And now a couple weeks later I am noticing sores all over his body like eczema. I don’t know what she did but this is absolutely horrific. I’m so upset. She really hurt my baby.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Dog was dropped off at 8 30 am and they contacted us at 3 30 pm saying he needed to be picked up. Well, at that point nobody was available to pick the dog up and I had to have a friend drive me over to them. They seemed to think that I needed to immediately drop everything to accommodate their terrible scheduling. $64 dollars for a terrible shaving job, literal holes in his fur from where they must have slipped or something, his face is half shaven and looks awful.Supposed to be a fathers day present, ended up being a bad joke that we paid AND I REPEAT, $64 DOLLARS. Not to mention they only accept cash, so to afford this outrageous sum I had to drive to an ATM.I can't express how disappointed I am, but incredibly my dog looks more disappointed.

She is a terrible groomer. She hurt my dog by shaving him incorrectly after she was told to be careful.and she tried to say my dog had a skin problem before we brought him to her. We had to bring him to the vet after he developed a skin condition due to her negligence and she would not accept responsibility for it. We are finding a new groomer.

I was going to bring my dog here. I walked in to make an appointment and I witnessed the lady hit a dog across the face because the dog calmly turned to look at me. I would never leave my dog in the hands of someone like that.
