This place gets busy during lunchtime. It offers different types of sandwiches, burgers, pasta dishes, coleslaw, and something potatoes salad. They even have a breakfast menu and specials. This day was tuesday, so they offer taco special 🌮. You can get any sandwich on a roll, wrap, 8 inches, and 12 inches. And it is optional to toast your sandwich. Dislike: the menu does not display prices. I ordered the Turkey Avocado Kicker on a roll and added red pepper, jalapeno, and provolone cheese for about $7-8. They ran out of avocado, so they replaced it with guacamole. Also, I add the Boston Salads & Prepared Foods redskin potato salad that came up to $3 and change. No price was listed on this product. I had to ask for the price. My total was $12 and change. I did not dine in. But there are option inside and outside the store to eat. In addition you can order your food in advance for pickup. Dessert are available: ice cream, cookie, cake and other pastries.

Love their service and welcoming positive vibe. Three young kids were really doing great! Their menu has a variety to choose and fresh to give yourself a treat of hot food. It has a nice view to enjoy the environment and feel country side to spice up your poetic mind . Lovely!

Went there on 4-13-2024 for a burger and a sandwich. Called in the order. The girl on the phone was laughing, sneering and heavily distracted by her male coworker on the phone, not paying attention to anything I said. I asked "am I funny to you?" After getting laughed at through the phone for a solid minute, as im trying to order. The girl got slightly rude after i asked, but hey, im not one clowning around here, just trying to order not attend a stand up show. Every bit of my order I had to repeat, and had to call back to make sure they got it right. Still wrong. Recieved my sandwich that was mostly all pepperoni, weird for it being a cold cut, right? Aside from 90% pepperoni, there was barely any meat on it. Just total dissatisfaction. As a long time resident of town, and always supporting our local stores, it's sad to part ways with the only place that used to make a GOOD sandwich. I am a reasonable person and get they're kids, most likely the owners family.. but cmon...

Great Coffee Stop.Found this little gem on the back roads of CT. There is a wide selection of stuff packed into this small footprint. The waterfront out back is very nice indeed. I had just came from breakfast but sure would have tried one their breakfast sandwiches otherwise.

Tonight was the second time I’ve ordered from Mill Pond. It was not at all like the first time. I ordered a Turkey Kicker wrap. Awful! It had 2 thin slices of Turkey and 1 see thru piece of cheese @ $11.00. I gave the wrap back asking if it even had turkey on it. They weighed it and gave the same wrap back to me. Also, one of the girls in the kitchen had a black half shirt on with her stomach hanging out. Very unprofessional while working in a kitchen atmosphere and handling food. I’m sorry to say the wrap was awful and over priced. I’m so sad to have had this experience. While saying some thing bad, I would like to add some thing nice. The girl working the cash register was super nice and friendly. She said it was her second day working there. She was doing a great job.******I double checked my receipt. I was charged $1.85 extra for the 1 slice of see thru cheese. For your reference the order # on my receipt is 0199, time-18:28 total with tax for Turkey wrap $11.10.

I have been here twice over the past 4 years and have been disappointed both times. The first was in the morning when I ordered a bacon, egg & cheese sandwich. I was several miles away when I realized that I was given a bacon sandwich instead...oh well mistakes happen. My second visit was in the evening a few years later when I ordered 2 burgers--the barbecue bacon burger and the Reuben burger. I recieved 2 extremely overcooked-dry burgers the bacon barbecue [I'll assume that's what it was meant to be] contained no bacon, crispy onions, or bbq sauce just mayo, and my Reuben burger had no corned beef or sauerkraut, but it did have thousand island and a slice of tomato.I won't be back a 3rd time.

We ordered 30 wraps, salads, and a cookie tray from Mill Pond for our employee luncheon. Everything was ready when expected. The food was fresh and tasted fantastic. This is the best place to get food (including all other restaurants) in town imo. Everything is ridiculously good and it’s always my first choice if I’m not in the mood to cook. They pack the grinders with fillings, and everything is delicious. If you get a grinder toasted, they toast the inside of the roll; it’s phenomenal. The wraps are ridiculously good, and the brisket is out of this world. I personally haven’t had a sandwich I haven’t liked from here.

After many recommendations from friends to check out the Mill Pond Country Store we finally had the opportunity to stop in today for something for lunch to go. We decided to get a Cordon Bleu 12 inch grinder to split between my wife and I. It was freshly made and delicious. I have to say this place is a hidden treasure and the food is fantastic. Great friendly staff it's like going back in time where the Country Store was the local hub for everything you needed. They have it and more. Needless to say can't wait for our next trip back.

Update: there seems to be inconsistency with the sandwiches. Once I got one that was excellent and filled to the brim. And the next time I ordered the same sandwich it was rather sad looking, possibly worse than subway.Lovely little country store with fantastic sandwiches. Picked up a Ruben today for $7.18 and it was fantastic! Better than reins deli in my opinion. Pricing for all sandwiches were affordable and you can taste that the ingredients are fresh.There's parking in the front or back of the store. Plenty of outdoor seating in the back with a cute view. Inside of the store is a little claustrophobia inducing but the store does have a lot of different products. They have a Facebook page that gets updated but I do wish they had a stand alone website.I will definitely be back! 👍
