I’ve had nothing but horrible experience after horrible experience with the pharmacy over the years. Tonight was the last time. I was hung up on twice for raising my voice after being lied to about the ready date of my prescription two times. Once by a pharmacy employee and then again by the store manager. Apparently raising my voice because I’m being continually talked over is “disrespectful”. This store/pharmacy is a complete joke. Nothing but young kids that would rather play on cell phones and hang outside smoking than serve their customers. I sincerely hope the store manager or owner sees this. Your employees are a joke and a disgrace. It’s no wonder why you have piss poor ratings online.

There is a pharmacist whos name i will not mention but if she ses this review I am sure she will know who she is. She communicates horribly. She is biased if you are prescribed a controlled drug. She is either misinformed or lying when she says insurance will not pay for meds after I called my insurance and they told me exactly when they pay for medication. She thinks she is always right when in fact she is wrong. If she does read this review I want her to know I made a formal complaint to the organization that is responsible for taking such complaints. I told her I would after we spoke last time.I am not a vindictive person but when you involve your biased notions to guide your decisions in a customer service issue, especially if you are a pharmacist I feel that is vindictive. I ask that she take an introspective and objective look at her motivations when dealing with patrons of Walgreens, not just for the sake of the customer but for the future of her profession. I hope this isn't taken the wrong way but we are all free to make our opinions. Have a great Day.

Walgreens staff is very racist. Me and my cousin are South Asian. We had gone in and first our cashier did not great us or speak to us, but she had checked our money atleast 3 times and looked at us. After we paid she had said "welcome to Connecticut. Are you going to live here". Something to note both me and my cousin where born here. And I am flabbergasted. If me and my cousin where white would she have said that? Most likely not, why is it as a person of color did she asume we weren't born here? If I could give negative stars I would.

The pharmacist, Nicole, did a tremendous job helping me get through the problems with my insurance. I paid the lowest amount for my monthly meds than ever in the past. The staff is very friendly. Thank you for everything and keeping me up-to-date on my meds.

No wonder Walgreens keeps closing across the nation. Purchased online and it appeared as items being in stock. Items mysteriously disappeared and they canceled order. When inventory is off customers loose trust in company. Let’s see what the future holds.

Horrible Horrible Customer Service! We had to wait 3 days to get a prescription filled. First day their system was down, we were told we would get a call when prescription was ready. Second we had to call & check we were told it would e ready in an hour and would be notified when ready. Third day we called and were told to bring our insurance card to the pharmacy. We went to the pharmacy only to be told our insurance didn’t cover the medication, they didn’t even ask for our insurance card. We had to pay out of pocket. My husband was in so much pain for 3 days, no sense of urgency or compassion by the pharmacy staff.

This pharmacy is terrible. They never answer the phone, I've been on hold with them for over an hour and had to give up waiting. I've gone to pick up scripts to find they've closed. early because the pharmacist is "off duty". There's just always some kind of issue, I would recommend going somewhere else.

I wish I could give zero. I’m giving a one, Don’t go to this pharmacy (Walgreens) they are such a joke. They make cars in front wait for over an hour at the window for their prescriptions because they made so many errors. The staff is not friendly and the pharmacist was rude and very snippy giving attitude that was not good. And prescriptions if you don’t pick them up they automatically put them back and you gotta go through a re-do of getting them refilled again 😡

Not happy with the pharmacy. For almost a decade I have been on the same dosage for synthroid. When my wonderful independent pharmacist retired we transferred to Walgreens. The first time filling the script they got the dosage WRONG and they had the audacity by blaming my doctor of almost 10 years. I called my doctor they called in the script again. I get notified that my scrip is delayed because they don’t have any in stock. I call I am on hold for another 30 minutes of my life I won’t get back. I can’t wait for the new independent pharmacy opens up!

This is the MOST MISMANAGED PHARMACY I have ever encountered. Most often closed due to no staff and often I find my prescriptions on hold due to lack of proper ordering on the pharmacy part. I am utterly disgusted.

Pharmacy is a little better, but cannot wait to see just how long they will continue to blame other companies for their poor choices of stocking ANYTHING in their store. It's a shame that every single month they state a prescription I bring in is out of stock. If you know customers are on a monthly schedule, why not order 2 instead of just 1? Just thinking outloud.

My debit card was declined because I had to move with my son to survive Covid 19. Address changed didn't coincide with my card, I was publicly shamed. And to add injury the amount of $89.63 for the amount of merchandise that I left in the counter. I went back to get my money, was told that it was going to to be deposited in my account, waiting.I have been a regular customer for over 30 years, never before I had any problem. Very dissapointed.😞

Had a vaccine appt for 10am and at 10:25 still had not been taken in. 3 people were before me and they were not taken yet either. Picked up a prescription and used the good rx card showing the Walgreens $5.00 off coupon and Walgreens would not honor it. Real cluster, you know what. Walgreens in Southington has really gone down hill. Will try CVS next time.

I wish if I could give 0I hade the worst experience at the Covid check in window the lady there her name I think was holly or what aver she give me the worst attitude . I hade a question about the vaccine so I wasn’t getting or scheduling , I asked her my question she replayed “ you are not getting the vaccine or scheduling “ im already vaccinated ,while I was a bout to answer she started waving with her hands asking me to go and Waite again wile I waited enough in the ligne to get to the window and started calling the people behind me to proceed to her . That was so rude and the thing is she did the same thing to the person in front of me and when I asked for the manager they said he is not here . that’s definitely not the way to treat a costumer that gives you business for so many years if she doesn’t lake her job or know haw to treat a customer than she shouldn’t be there I was so upset , every body there were looking at us , and what made me go out of my mind is that when one of the customers she knew went to her called her with her name she started explaining and laughing with him this is just am believable the pharmacy is definitely not her spot

Awful, awful experience! I just wanted to even exchange an item I bought the day before. I thought, "oh this will be quick". After some time in the store & then A RETURN trip, it was still screwed up. This store needs some training 1) label the items correctly. It is not the customers fault that 2 identical items are not priced the same. 2) Dont tell the customer its because its a different color and then tell them a moment later they had a price jump over night when the price above the item never changed. 3) Employees need basic math skills. Dont try to explain to the customer that 1/2 of $7.99 is $6.12. Keep my money its not worth it to me to get so frustrated over poor customer service and stupidity. I will never go into your store or another Walgreens again. Tell your employees that customers pay their salaries, and dont ever insult our intelligence.

Make sure you count your change....I was there today and was short changed $10. My bill was $6.36 and gave them a $100 dollar bill and received $83.64 in change. They said that have to count drawer. They counted the drawer the first time it was short $5 I said how could that be I gave you $100 dollar. Second count was told the drawer was not short. At that point I emptied out my pockets should them I nothing on me and told them to review the video. At the register was a gentleman and I gave advice to count his change at that point some assistant manager told not to say anything- I bit my tongue. The third count the drawer was actually short $10..who would have thought. Of course I had to give the assistant manager a piece of my mind now - what a tool. I will take my business elsewhere and suggest others do so also if not count your change !!!!

The staff are always so nice and helpful. I usually come in later in the evening to shop and the employees are still so chipper. The store is looking cleaner and organized. Can't get me to step in CVS. Walgreens is my pharmacy!!

Tried to call twice to refill my daughter's prescription after the Bristol location closed indefinitely with no notice to us at all. Called twice, got hung up on twice after waiting more than twenty minutes on hold each time.

Do not get vaccines at the pharmacy. The pharmacist did not use sterile technique resulting in an infection at the injection site. Horrible experience. Never in my life have I had this happen.

The manager shaun is a miserable person to deal with on top of the fact hes ok with screwing over customers. I had to go out of town to return something because he is so incompetent. The fact that this kid has a job baffles me.

I love Walgreens and it's easy to get points for free or reduced priced items. Their app is amazing when it comes to getting prescriptions and seeing their specials and flyers.

It’s sad that a franchise like Walgreens allow their employees to be extremely rude and disrespectful. I’ve been their countless times and whenever I ask a employee a question they either repeat their idiotic petty first answer, or give more attitude. If your looking to be depressed go to this Walgreens.

Jesus created the world faster then the time it took for me to pick up my medication when I was the only one in line the lady kept avoiding me and doing other things instead of helping the customer who was right in front of her ridiculous three people working and all are incompetent

Average pharmacy, did not like that the cashier gave me an attitude that I paid with cash. Really turned me off. Also they tend to not be able to keep advertised merchandise in stock.
