Found product I was looking for, but not the size listed on website. I looked for some help, nobody around. Went to where you pay, cashier rang up the sale and said I needed to go to gray storage area; found that. Did not know I had to drive car to area. Got car, drove to area, showed receipt, wished I had a bigger vehicle... stuffed item in trunk and drove away. Item was a bale of hay to put on top of grass seed in bare areas of my yard. This was the first time going to this store. I'm sure now that I am familiar with Smithland, next time will be easier.

Great place to buy the dog food we need. Dry kibble and wet food selection is great.I have also been here in the past for lawn and garden supplies.They employees are quick and kind. The store is always in stock with what I need.

Something must have changed over time here. Today staff were clueless and only one gentleman could be bothered to help me. Don't know what has happened here, but the hanging stock in some areas is either dead or in need of watering. This is prime time for spring supplies. Training is lacking and minimum wage is no excuse for employees not to be trained.

ALWAYS 5 STAR!!! They have everything and more for any pet you may own. They are always on top of all the latest brands and foods in the animal world...from dry kibble, to toys, to treats! Then there are all the little goodies you can browse through and and buy to add to your home outside decor....not to mention how well kept their flowers are. They are take home ready to thrive at your home. Just enjoy perusing thru this store!

I really enjoy getting our flowers and bird feeding supplies here. Staff is very friendly. They stock pied house kits to build with the kids. Most places I have found don't stock them regularly

This place goes above and beyond for their customers. I have had such a great experience with getting set up to raise chickens. The employees really go above and beyond. Especially Joe, Tyler, and Billy. Looking forward to doing business here for many years to come.

I shop here all the time for my chickens and am always happy with experienced staff who are always able to help.Today I went to the Middlefield location but since I’ve left a review previously google won’t let me leave another one,I wanted to shout out Jennifer for her help in selecting a new water that’s top fill and will stay clean, she had personal experience with the product which made me feel comfortable buying it, she also helped me select options for an issue with mice.SO I HOPE THIS GETS TO JENNIFERBut both locations,You guys are the BEST!!

Never had a problem with this place until I brought my dog in to fit a collar. He had a nervous accident in the aisle all staff involved were super helpful and understanding until one member (I believe they were somewhere managerial in position) interjected and started belittling my disabled, senior rescue pup. Honestly always have great customer service experiences here up until this event. I usually try to avoid supporting big chain stores but at least there's a corporate standard there.

Well, lets start with doors wide open floor in half the store is FLOODED. Looking for suet blocks all they have is their own brand, wrapped in completely covered paper no view to hide inferior products(?) Perhaps..i left after paying top dollar for a 30lbs bag of dog food that was only 24lbs!!! Never again why do you not allow a zero star mark??

Very helpful with things from pet supplies to flowers. They recommended some beautiful clematis vines. Very happy and I will be returning for more in the spring. For now I got great deals on my cats stocking stuffers

I love this place, its people, and its beautiful flowers. I went yesterday, frantic for herbs, and the remarkable Sage that grows past the first couple of frosts. They are a little scraggly but I know they will be fine. I've never been disappointed, and the flowers, wow!

I had totally forgotten about Agway of southington until I needed something that the big box hardware store didn't have because it was out of season but a simple Google search for garden supplies refreshed my memory and I was very happy to have found everything i needed and more. Staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. If they don't know they find out. If they don't have it they can order it.

I would like to thank, Jenna for helping my family and I the past two days in regards to our Malamute’s recent diet change, due to allergies. Jenna, is SO helpful! She is a certified nutritionist and you can tell she knows what she’s talking about. She took the time to really go over all of the options, explained them thoroughly and genuinely cared about helping me understand everything. She is VERY knowledgeable and really went above & beyond by printing out information for me in regards to my dogs health concerns, foods, supplements, etc.All of their staff is always very pleasant and helpful, but Jenna is a true asset there. You can tell she cares. Thank you Jenna & Agway for employing her. Very happy, life long customers now.*Disclaimer: yes, we’ve been to the vet, multiple times in the past 6 weeks, but the problems keep reoccurring. I truly believe Jenna’s suggestions will help improve my dogs overall well being.

So, my lawn is a mess from decades of neglect. Went looking for this stuff online (really?!) and found Agway MUCH cheaper than Amazon. Staff was helpful in getting it picked out and loaded into my car. I will be back for more and getting a garden underway too.

I went to get some fish oil for husky it help her coat. It little expensive but it definitely worth it for my dog 🐕 I bought some pellet today and they are 319 a ton.

The staff here is very friendly and helpful. The plants are beautiful, but a little pricey. I found the same Boston Fern at Lowe's for $14.99 and Agway want $29.99. That's a huge difference.

Agway had the size 4 1/2 pot my friend was looking for. They have a large selection of healthy plants. Nice variety of etable garden plants. A number of the strawberry plants had fruit on them. If you are in the area looking for garden plants you should stop in.
