Do yourself a favor “KEEP LOOKING”When I first applied and got hired, there was a young lady in charge she was awesome and so was the work environment! Now there are two men in charge that have no idea of what they are doing. As an example, they allow their department managers to talk to their employees like they are garbage it’s totally insulting to people! I am older person that has worked a number of places in my lifetime and "I HAVE NEVER SEEN A WORK ENVIRONMENT AS BAD AS THIS ONE” Do yourself a favor Keep Looking!

This store is so disappointing lately. When I stopped in last night there were no cashier's, at 9 o'clock.

Such a fun experience. I like how scattered the items are, one isle can have cleaning supplies, baby toys, stationary etc. The alcohol mixers aisle had pretzles and cheese puffs conveniently located twice on either side of the mixers. The open space really gives me time to think about my list and what I'm forgetting. Unlike any grocery store I've been to!

Great deals but your cashier this morning (#0042 I believe?) was unfriendly to the point of hyperbole. She glared at me the whole time I was bagging my groceries (without offering once to help), and spat out, "Are you going to need help getting to to your car?". Keep in mind she was a good 2 decades older than me! I was bagging my own things to be respectful of HER!! I get that cashiering is a tough job, but she really shouldn't be so blatantly disrespectful and nasty for absolutely no reason.

The lady that checked my son and I out I wish I could remember her name she was absolutely wonderful everyone in the store very helpful very friendly and not a forced friendliness real friendliness, Genuine. I will definitely shop there again. By the way I got a absolutely great price on a pork tenderloin. I bought the half my son bought the whole. My half of tenderloin, I got it cut and it came up to I think $17 and I mean I had nine big thick pieces out of that. My son got 18 out of his nice thick pieces.😍

Good store! The associates are always ready and willing to help. They always go out of their way to make sure you get what you need and save the most money possible. They have a smile on every time and can tell you just where EVERY item is located and if they have it in stock. If coupons are an issue they will get you one out of their own flyer or give you a rain check for it. Their floral displays are the most gorgeous! Would not shop anywhere else!

I have been a Price Chopper customer for years. It’s all about the quality and if you have the pleasure of enjoying their meat selection you will know what I mean. The quality is unsurpassed by other big markets nearby and the immaculate store is both inviting and conveys a sense of safety for the patrons.Love the store and love the prices!!

I do shop here weekly, but as my secondary grocery store. This store is clean. It has a lot of dead space, in the front, by the seasonal aisle & and baby aisle. I have to make sure I 100% check the expiration date on EVERYTHIBG. I seriously want to fill a cart with all the expired stuff I find when shopping. I find them to be more expensive. I do my shopping at SR, & whatever I can't get, I get at PC. I can never just go to one. But I will say, they do carry some items I can't find elsewhere, and SOME items are cheaper than SR (my primary store). Granted, the lowest prices will always be at Walmart because they price shop the stores in the surrounding area & adjust their prices to make sure they are JUST a few cents cheaper. Hence, their products ending in .97 & .94.

It’s kind of empty when you come in at first due to the large partially open space. They do have a large variety of foods. I have no complaints when I run in to grab a couple things quickly.

Just was in the store and told a manager that a bunch of an item was moldy they took one annoyed and walked away leaving like 9 packages that you only see they are moldy if you look at the bottom. They had a cart with them

I couldn’t be more ashamed for price chopper limiting the homeless to one bag to redeem in the bottles and can deposits. They are out all day and night collecting just to make money to be refused to accept more than one bag at a time and end up with maybe $.50 per bag. Real sad.

Prices here are more reasonable than Stop & Shop and the items I need are almost always in stock. No need to hunt for digital coupons like Stop & Shop also no idiotic robot getting in your way.

This is the best Price Chopper I've been to! Honestly, the layout of the store is well thought out. This was my first visit to this particular one. Its extremely clean! The staff was friendly and helpful. When I couldn't find something, I asked the clerk that was stocking the shelves and he knew what I was asking for and where I could find it. So friendly during the checkout process as well. I would definitely be going back to this Price Chopper even though I have one closer to where I live.

They used to have fair prices, but over the past few years, and especially post-covid their prices have increased to the point where I HAVE to go to Aldi's. Unless they are running a REAL sale I simply cannot afford their merchandise.I also do NOT like the way they treat their employees. It's really unfortunate, too. They are a friendly lot, but don't seem happy in their work. I only know this because I talk with them. I was shocked when I was told they aren't even ALLOWED to leave the building on their breaks! (It's "frowned upon" with the fear being that they might be fired!?!) The bottom line is: That is Illegal! Please show your employees the dignity and respect they deserve. You are most certainly profiting off their hard work. Show some appreciation! It would boost store morale and productivity. If you want to be in business for the long haul, you must treat your people at least as importantly as you do profits.

Sad to say that my only source for Graeter's ice cream has dried up. Price Chopper appears to no longer carry the Cincinnati taste of home. :,(It's a nice store. We like the little carts, too. 😁

I came here during the busy Easter weekend and this was one of the most relaxed grocery shopping experiences I think I've had in YEARS. First of all the store is HUGE! Plenty of room to move around and not have people in your space. I think they also have a sit-down place to eat; have to check that out another time.

Store is huge. Visited while staying with family. Customer service was non-existent. Produce was not impressive. Summer squashes were all scraped and dented. Cucumbers at $1 each were the same, with wrinkled ends and not very large. Of a few canned items I purchased, their store brand was more costly than private labels. I will do most shopping at another store where it is more customer service driven with their price points or shop at my tried and true, local butcher, farm stand and German no nonsense chain for everything else.

The store is pretty standard for a grocery store. Nothing really stands out in a good or bad way. The store felt suspiciously empty for a grocery store, and there is a lot of wide open spaces, giving ample room to walk with a cart. Food is of average quality, nothing looked too appetizing. Employees also seems sort of apathetic. Overall not a memorable experience.

Labor Day weekend sale on lobsters $5.77 a lb., so I bought 4 lobsters and the staff steam cooked them at the store for free. Now that is an awesome service that they provide, and it only took 15 to 20 minutes but seemed a lot less time than that. We haven't had lobster all summer with this pandemic going on.So when we all sat down to eat them on a nice warm sunny afternoon those where the best tasting lobsters we've had and what a perfect way to end summer. The staff at Price Chopper in Southington were very helpful and ready to help.

Great place, especially with the gas bonus. With so many really great reviews, the few people that had a problem were , I think, problem people themselves, unhappy, unsuccessful, failures in life. They need something to complain about and to place some blame for their miserable life on someone or something. Nothing in this life is perfect, but this place is a really good grocery store. They have more items then you could ever want and for the most part the workers there are very nice. Complainers need to get a life, or live in a third world country. Then they would really have something to complain about. There is nothing wrong with this store. Their prices are in line with other stores, some higher, but others lower. Most people have no idea how difficult is to be in business in this state, fees and regulations cripple businesses. And for those who commented that their prices are high know that supermarkets operate on the lowest percentage of profit of any retailer. Go grow your own food, or raise your own animals. But make sure you buy your cigerettes, lottery tickets, and your price inflated soda and popcorn at a movie theatre. These stores have a right to make a profit.

It's a great store! Shopping there is a very relaxing experience. The employees are polite and very helpful. The sales every week are awesome and the Isles are nice and wide so there's plenty of room to navigate around the store so you never feel crowded.

Well below standards. Under staffed for sure. Cashier ridiculously rude. Left my purchases with her. Walked out after a30 minute wait for one fried seafood item , a beverage. And horseradish....

This store is clean and has wide aisles unlike the Stop & Shop done the road. It also has a far superior produce department and their meats are a higher quality. Their prices are good, and they have great sales each week.

Love this store, bright and clean and very well organized. I never have to go hunting for something, everything is where it logically should be.Customer service is great! They don't point you in the direction, they walk you there and are very helpful. Produce is fresh, nothing wilted. Deli stock is rotated all the time. I also use the pharmacy, great service! I shop elsewhere every once in a while and have learned that the experience is never as good as at Price Chopper in Southington!
