Tried to pay for 30 bags of mulch that was on sale only to be told that they were out of stock. I decided to walk over and check. They had at least 50 bags of mulch sitting under the sale sign. Took pictures of the sign and bags and a picture of the code so we could pay for 30 bags. Woman would not let us buy them and told us to go back and someone would be there to help. No one came and we ended up loading it onto two carts and pushing them to the registered. The cashiers only response is I was told we sold out. We are on our 70’s trying to push these carts to our truck. An employee helped me push it over a bump but then walked away. A customer ended up helping me push it to my truck. I will never shop here again. I have always bought at Home Depot but thought I’d try Lowe’s because I missed Home Depot’s mulch sale. Worst customer service I have ever encountered. Wish I could give ZERO stars.

By far, the best place to buy tiles! Way better selection then Home Depot. Lowes has 2 isles full, floor to ceiling of tiles, and a tile for every job. I want to give a shout-out to Bruce in the tile department. Bruce is very helpful, knowledgeable, and goes out of his way to do his job. When you're in Home Depot, and trying to find a person to help you is like looking for a 10mm socket in the gravel driveway, good luck! Every time I've gone to Lowes, it's been a great experience!

We love Lowe’s! The customer service is phenomenal. We had a TERRIBLE experience with Home Depot. We had just bought a house and needed to get cabinets into our kitchen. We ordered cabinets but they came in TRASH! Went to Lowe’s Connie Johnson took care of us wonderfully, we came in with our kids she was PHENOMENAL! She designed our kitchen better than Home Depot! She is a wonderful worker! Lowe’s should be grateful for what type of worker she is! She is very caring!! She is diligent worker!! CONNIE JOHNSON IS AMAZING!! WE LOVES LOWES

Called in 15 min before closing to buy a bag of salt . Was told to be in before 9pm or the doors will be closed.I got there at 8:53 to literally grab only a bag of salt and was told they are closed and there systems are closed by a worker named sage.I specifically told her that I spoke to a lady at 9:45 and was told to make it in before pm.The worker named Sage was yelling from across 6 registers and told me I need to leave.Very unprofessional, lack of customer service.I own my own business and I would never allow a worker to treat a customer as such.I own apts and if someone gets hurt I will make sure to hold someone accountable for not allowing me to purchase salt during business hours.People like Sage will never go far in life in the work environment because of lack of customer service, lack of customer care, lack of professionalism.I’ve purchased many things at this store for my business and all my apartment complexes that I own.Will not be going back to Lowe’s because I do not want to experience bad customer service when I spend as much as I do at this store.

Amazing customer service! Nancy D. and other employees were able to help us find what we were looking for, all at an excellent price. My only qualm would be the lack of sanding equipment, however, I believe this is due to short-term shortages and not a long term problem.

I should not go to lowes lol. I literally was lost. I didn't know where to start or what I needed. I asked frank for an isle that I can find a certain hook/screw in. FRANK answered all my questions. Showed me what I needed. Described to me exactly what to do! I want to thank Frank so much for his help and guidance. I can tell he helps everyone just like this! Such a satisfied customer. I visit this store often as they allow me to bring my dog in so I can train her as a service dog.All, and I say all the employees at Lowes are awesome. At first I was so impressed when everyone asked me if they could help me find something. That's amazing because most stores when an employee see me, they have their head down afraid I will ask them for help.I have been going for weeks now and most employees say hi to Bella. That's an awesome feeling. Some stop and ask permission to let her, and that's important for her growth. Otherwise they respect that she is in training.I walk the alies and I always buy something I need. The prices are good, can't compare to home Depot. I love this store.I want to thank one person who works in flooring, his name is Lou. He bought my Bella an Xmas gift, a beautiful dog bowl with her name on it. That's the kind of relationship we customers receive from Lowes. From dog treats to praises. I love loews they treat their customers like family.

Worst customer service ever and the most frustrating thing it’s that the so call manager and cashier are racist they wouldn’t sell me a fridge because they said among them that people like us (meaning Hispanic) wouldn’t have the money to pay it that we would have to be doing some type of fraud don’t shop at this store it’s the worst customer service I could ever receive to be judged for my ethnicity and my skin color I had never had experience this type of problem well not straight to my face because they thought that I didn’t understand English because I was talking to my family in Spanish it’s the worst feeling ever I didn’t want to make a show there because I’m not that type of person but hopefully @lowes corrects this because this type of people aren’t good for their stores I rather go to another store that’s farther away than to this one

Came in to get my online orders, and as usual, the system alerted me before my item was actually in the store. When I asked for a manager, a very vague (and rude employee) named "Leah" tried to assist me, but instead decided to talk down on the cashiers (to me, in front of other associates and customers -- all within earshot, mind you) as if she hadn't better things to do. I come every 3 days for online pickups, and this is a constant issue. I love this Lowes, I am a loyal and returning customer -- but I can't support this anymore. I am saddened to see that is how the store is ran internally. I hope those employees are able to find the stability where they are treated with respect, and I will be taking my buisness to Home Depot.

Terrible customer service. Never people around when you need them, never have enough people to deliver out to a vehicle when you’re doing a pick up, half of the time the stuff to pick up isn’t in the locker and you have to have someone hunt it down. Some Lowe’s stores are good, this one, well you’re better off going to a different one.

Giving Lowes " Installation Made easy" 1 star. Do not hire them thinking it will be easier with a big company like Lowes to install anything. I hired Lowes to install stone counter tops. 1st they don't set it up in the store, you have to go online and are assigned a virtual designer. 1st red flag. You do a video call and that Designer gives a quote. I wasn't comfortable with his choice, so my designer sent me to the installer to pick out the slab, I was sent to Discover Mable and Granite and they were fantastic. Went over everything with me I picked the slab and was told they would call me to schedule someone to come to my home to do a template. Someone showed up, took my sink, took the template. I waited 10 days of not hearing anything, so I called Discover Marble and Granite, they said Lowes must have subbed the job to someone else. I called Lowes and they then said I had to go to EW granite and pick out another, that place was a complete 180 from the 1st place and didn't offer any information and told me which piece was mine. Me thinking they're the professionals, I agreed. Then during installation, 2 people come, one leaces during the job, another showed up later. The time frame was 10-12 and they came at 3pm , 3 hours after the end time frame. We brought it the the installers attention, it was not correct, not the same thickness and no edging done and the color was off and I was told the manager would contact me. He did but only tried pressuring me to sign that the job was complete, when I said no, not until he corrects it, he hung up on me. Lowes also continued to contact me to sign, which I keep explaining what is going on but all they do is send you to someone else and you have to explain all over again and get no help. I'm absolutely disgusted. Maybe this review can get me someone competent enough to help.. this has been going on since February

The in store sales associate was knowledgeable and thorough. However the delivery of our appliance was late and our screen door was ripped in two places. The delivery person said he would fix it but never contacted us again.

Ordered a washer and dryer, took 2-3 weeks to be delivered. Once delivered only a washer came, was not the washer machine that I ordered. I was then told that I never ordered a dryer and that the person helping me at the store accidentally ordered me two washer machines!!! If I can give zero stars I would. I understand that mistakes happen, so I scheduled a pick up to get the washer machine out of my house since it was the wrong one anyways. Despite our circumstances the soonest pick up date the store was able to give me was two days out so I wait for that day to come, was then told pick up window between 11-3:30.Waited the entire day, no one showed up. 6PM comes along, I call the store and everyone is telling me that the truck must be running late and that they can’t help me. I call again and someone named Amber answers, she’s the best associate that Lowe’s has and the crazy part is that she’s brand new. She’s working with me to try and schedule a new pick up and was very apologetic. I need this washer machine picked up and out of my house!!!! I will be going to Home Depot once that happens and buying a washer AND DRYER there. Will never purchase at Lowe’s again. Also did I mentioned management was completely rude to me as well? Thanks for the worst experience I’ve ever had at a store.

I also want to thank Jonathon in appliances for his help loading the stove the next day when I came to pick it up. I especially want to thank Leah for her kind consideration with all of the details. Huge appliance delays. And when my fridge arrived, it had a huge hole on the left side. You can never reach anybody on the phone. They hang up on you, nobody is responsible or available to help. They tell you they will have something in stock when they don't. Then they transfer your order to another store without even notifying you.

I have bought alit of appliances with Lowe’s I believe they are reasonable prices I went the other day to buy my flooring for the kitchen, so when I went to the self check out I kept seeing this cashier looking at us and in top of it she call another employee to monitor us as we were scanning the items and the. We pay as we were leaving the cashier decided to ask for my receipt only to me and my husband but they were other customers and he didn’t ask for the receipt I felt that just because we were Hispanic , I felt they were very racist I will not be going to that store again very poor customer services

I was shopping today and noticed how busy it was yet still they have no registers open. Regardless I find my main man in the back at appliances who as always helps me tremendously he informed me that some of the sticker prices don't ring up properly which has Ben a recurring theme here. I get to the line and there's only self check out machines and one guy to assist everyone. I informed him I mayb need a price check and I also had a few more questions about my items that I wanted a second opinion on he called another employee over and both young men were very knowledgeable and before I left I had to grab one more thing as usual. When I was checking back out they and were there waiting for me and I had over heard this woman Leah which ive dealt with before handling constant mistakes with my deliverys, telling them that she saw them "standing there not helping customers" her demoner was rude as usual but usually this is why I check out at pro so I don't hold anybody up. My wife was returning our blinds at customer service for being damaged which is also a recurring theme, just like all our appliances its built poorly took very long and took up more time when we should be on the job site. Not to mention the managers here talk condesending to us Whenever we try to get a delivery right with them. Long story short i had to hear about it on the way home. She canceled our card with them and we will not be going back

After a very long and frustrating day, I have to say Lowe’s in Southington gets110% for customer service. Ahmed in appliances was wonderful! I called earlier to see if they had the refrigerator we wanted in stock and he remembered me when I arrived. His department was very busy but the Lowe’s employees seem to want to help out. He offered assistance with loading it on to our truck and said if we had any problem please call us. It was a VERY long and frustrating day for my husband but it was nice to know that Ahmed was very sympathetic to the day that we were having and make sure we left with great customer service!!! Lowe’s of Southington…thank you!!!

Plenty of parking with quick access from the highway. Good stock levels after Christmas and had the batteries I was looking for. Might have docked a star because the after Christmas sales were not that great, but will go back for the convenience.

Clean, I never feel like the shelves are bare and I recently purchased a washer and dryer and had been shopping around. The selection on the floor and the help was better than I received anywhere else
