Great place to wash your dog. Only complaint would be not to use the middle tub. You don't have easy access to the dryer. I'd suggest waiting for the end tubs.

The employees are wonderful, they greet you the moment you walk in and ask if you need help. The store is always clean and organized. I'm so happy to have a pet store close to home that offers a great variety of pet supplies.

I just visited the store. Absolutely can’t stop talking about the experience.Super super super clean. Alicia was a big help! Very knowledgeable.I also tried the bathing station for the first time. Super cool set with a not so thrilled dog. I think he actually loved it.Can’t wait to go back.A+++++++

Alicia and her staff are so amazing that I can't wait to go for our weekly shopping there for all of my dog's needs.. I even canceled my chewy subscription and would rather pay maybe $5 more just to have that great interaction and that love and affection towards my dog every time we go in! Definitely give this store a try. They also have an onsite groomer and we did our 1st bath there yesterday with lots and lots of help from the staff thankfully because my German shepherd puppy needed all hands on lol.

We LOVE taking my large dog here for baths. The raised grooming tub saves my back from having to hunch over in our tub during winter or during warmer weather outside on the ground with the hose. We have been going since last fall but wish I knew about them sooner! They provide everything from brushes, shampoo(even have one for sensitive skin ❤️), conditioner, a dryer and towels. Only 12$ but we almost always leave with a toy or treat for the good boy. Shout out to Ana Belle for being super helpful on our first visit!

An Excellent shop with excellent staff. The store was very clean and well kept. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. You can tell they know their stuff! High end products with exceptional service. I only want the best for my pup and that’s a why I’ll be using this pet choice in particular for all my future needs. I couldn’t have been happier with my experience. I would recommend this shop to anyone who really cares about their animals and wants the best for them.

I'm dog sitting for my friend and brought his 80lbs Black Lab mix I into the store. He went nuts! Since I'm a novice with pets, they answered all my questions. Great place and people.

Choice pet has a wonderful setup for owners to give their own pet a bath. I have never seen a store offering this type of service. Each tub area offers all the supplies an owner would need. Thank you

My boyfriend and I came unknowingly right before closing and an employee named Alicia made my day. She was absolutely wonderful! Such great customer service and she was so sweet. Alicia was attentive and we didn’t feel rushed at all while we made our purchase (any other store would have tried to hurry us up) . I live in Bridgeport and because of her we will definitely be coming here from now on. Thank you for your kindness Alicia!

This was the third email attempting to get an answer from customer service. Please be careful don’t bring your pet there. This happened 3 times with my dog. He suffering a lot and the vet bills were pretty substantial.Good afternoon,I am emailing to share with you that my dog is now suffering from his third skin infection caused by the dog wash service in Southbury CT. This past weekend I brought my dog there to take a bath and today he had fever all day with major hives and skin ruptured from an infection. Our vet informed us that the cause could be only two possibilities: dog park or dog bath. We eliminated the dog park variable and the timeline now is undeniable.The type of the bacteria causing our pup such discomfort and illness came from your facility. I will probably spend at least $300 dollars at the vet again. My dog is in so much pain that we cannot even touch his skin. We could go and leave a review but I would like to see what you may br willing to do about first. We like your store and recommended it to many - we have been patrons for many years. These incidents have occurred over the past 8 months. These infections are dangerous and painful. Our pet didn't deserve this because of your santitization neglect.I look forward for your response. It is our hope that we don't have to share this in a more public setting. Your facility is unsafe and our otherwise exceptionally healthy dog is now suffering.Update 8/1/2022No one has reached out to me regarding this issue, at this point I don’t really care anymore just thought you guys should know about the horrible customer service.

Bring my dog here every Saturday for a wash, I am always greeted politely when I walk in, but more.importantly everyone greets my pup with love and happiness. She hates the bathing procedure,.but this place makes it as painless as can be, and for the price of the bath, I am really lucky to have this place right in my backyard 👍

I purchased a cat carrier from this place a couple weeks ago. I am also a newer Southbury resident and have been purchasing my cat food from here since April of 2021. I asked the store if they would order me a second carrier in the same size and they did. They called me when it came in. Jenna was the person who left me my voice mail letting me know it was in. I called the store to let them know I would be in within 48 hours to pick it up. Whomever I spoke with said okay thank you for letting us know. I arrived at the store today to pick it up and the sales girl didn't see it anywhere and called her manager who then said that they sold it because no-one came in to pick it up. I said well that's interesting because I just spoke to someone on Tuesday to let them know that I would be in to purchase it. This clearly was not communicated to the staff by the manager . I told the sales girl to let her manager know that I was not happy and that they just lost a customer. Horrible customer service ! My first and only negative review for any business ever.

needed some stuff on Sunday night around 530 and was happy to see they were open till 7. the girls who were working were very kind and welcoming - also very knowledgeable and helpful. they have a good selection - even have some stuff for fish, reptiles and small fur pets. would definitely recommend checking them out!

Convenient location and helpful staff. This store has a fair inventory of popular pet foods but not as much as the big box pet stores. They have a decent inventory of unusual pet foods like all natural, and different varieties for pets with allergies that big box pet stores don't have.

Just went in there for the first time they have everything I could ever need for my puppy Nala. She turned one today and the two girls working made her birthday so special. They were so helpful showing me around the store and even gave her a special treat. Definitely my new pet store!!!!

I went in shortly after opening, and was appalled to see the apparent price gouging. There were sample size bags that every other natural pet store give as FREE samples being sold for almost $4 a bag! What!? It’s insane. Absolutely no one walked up to us to offer assistance.The exorbitant prices are absolutely ridiculous.

Disgusted with there cleaning procedures, It seems like they are not considering that COVID-19 is very much active, lets start with the fact that they don't have shields at the registers to protect the customers and staff, Also I noticed that they are using a cleaner that is purchased from the grocery store that is not an EPA disinfectant and are not properly sanitizing tubs between wash's they simply quickly spray down the sides and don't clean the insides or let disinfectant sit in the tub! Seems like they need to refresh there focus on COVID-19 cleaning procedures
