My cat is ~20 years old and stopped being able to properly groom himself a few years ago. He hated being brushed and so I was unable to keep up with grooming him and he ended up very dirty and full of mats. Brought him in this morning and wish I had done it sooner! They were able to remove all of the mats with barely any shaving. He's perfectly soft and happy now and looks 5 years younger. Cleaning an elderly cat is no small task and the team here did amazing work.

My senior dog is always well taken care of by Jack! He knows how to manage her old lady temperament and gets her smelling and looking beautiful. I highly recommend any of the groomers at Pupperdoos. They always call for reminder appointments and have this appointment card that has a sticker on it for people who still use paper calendars :-)

We have brought our long haired cat, Oliver here twice now and are so happy with this groomer. They are reasonably priced and very knowledgeable on how to properly handle cats which is hard to find. He looks (and smells) great and we can tell that they treat him really well while he's in their care. He's been strutting since after his appointment yesterday-he knows he's pretty ;)! Thank you again, we will definitely be back!

We bring our dog Mia here to get her nails clipped/ground and they do a great job. Their customer service is excellent. Even though it's quick it's still a two-person job because she hates having this done. It is my suggestion that you call ahead, we usually try to, to make sure they have openings. if you're looking for a place to get your dog groomed I think it's a good place to start if you're in the area.

Brought my short hair cat in. Upon pick up I stood at the desk while the receptionist was on the phone apparently on hold. Couldn't even say hello or let me know she would be right with me. The three people grooming saw me standing there and basically ignored me. Once she hung up the phone she informs me the cost for groom fee is 57.00. I hand her my credit card and she gives me back a receipt for $63 and change. I ask why so much more and she responds "tax". I make a comment about that being a lot of tax and she ignores me. As I'm walking out I stop and say I think you calculated the tax wrong. She says "oh ...because you didn't pay cash we add on an extra 3.99%" wait...what? Why was this not mentioned to me when I dropped my cat off or before I used my card?

Have brought several pets here over the years. Cats/Dogs. Results at times were marginal so we went elsewhere. My son recently brought his dog here for grooming as he just moved into the area and it was convenient for him and his wife. They completely shaved the dog saying he was too matted to comb out. Coat may have been an inch or two at best. We've been to others who are able to comb out yet these guys always seem to take the easy way out. The dog left traumatized. Shaved him completely with raw spot on his belly! Really???!!! The dog is not himself whatsoever. It's as if he was beaten. Not sure what is wrong but after reading another post about a dog incurring a back injury (disc) we are very concerned. The dog was brought here twice and each time left traumatized. Never going back to this business ever again and warning others as well. Going to have dog checked out. If there is physical injury Pupperdoos will face the consequences. I would give no stars but I would be unable to post so am forced to give 1. It you love your animal think long and hard before going here. Sure, they talk nice enough but clearly something happened and we are not the first. Even past employees have posted negative remarks about the treatment of animals which caused them to quit. There is a pattern here and it's not good. Beware People!!!!! Stay away from this place!!!!

Did a pathetic job on my Maltese dog. We asked them to leave some hair and no clean shave... To our surprise they shaved him to the skin. The poor dog is still in extreme stress & trauma; still very scared and not being normal, stopped eating food and pooping; behaving very weird & abnormal; shakes his head violently. It been 2 days now... Had to call Vet today.These guys should have called me first before doing a clean shave.. My wife clearly instructed them to leave at least 1/2 inch hair. There were no mattings except very small ones at 1-2 odd spots... The groomer may have taken a shortcut....I will not recommend this groomer...

Best place to get your dogs hair groomed! I’ve been taking my dog Oreo here for years. They always make him look wonderful and take great care of him!! The staff is friendly and have great customer service, highly recommend.

Ashlyn is the best! She's so good with our pups! Bree is an anxious and shy dog but little by little she's really come around. Ashlyn has been so patient. Joy is a cyclone and she's great with her too! The staff and owner are super nice. Very happy here!

I'm incredibly upset... brought my dog last Wednesday to be groomed and he came home later that night and had a herniated disc in his back which caused him to be paralyzed from the middle of his back down. He was shaking with pain and could not use his back legs at all.I called Pupperdoos and they told me he was having trouble with the foam roller they had him on to do his back legs and "he is probably just sore". I tried to pick him up to get him in the car to bring to the vet and it hurt him which caused me to get bit and I currently have a dozen stitches in my face.I rushed him to the Peiper Memorial Vet in Middletown where he had to be seen by a neurologist and have emergency surgery on his back.I called again and the lady basically said I can't prove it happened there and they were sorry. Like can you at least refund meThe $180 you charged me to injure my dog so bad. I'm out almost $10k after this grooming.Please be weary when you leave your dog here.And also there are nip bottles and garbage all over their parking lot. I should have known better than to trust them with my babies

Ashlynn is by far amazing! She even gave our puppy a mohawk which made him even cuter! We have a Pomeranian shitzu mix so he's super fluffy and we didn't want to loose most of his fluff she did an amazing job keeping him cute and he smelled amazing!

First and last experience- I was very disappointed. They did the exact opposite of what i instructed. "leave some hair". esp on the face. she was shaved all over the place esp on her face. Under her neck was shaved down to the skin. I had to choose 1 otherwise it could not post

Very unprofessional, I worked here for a month and quit. They have no safety protocols for workers or the animals and just hold the animals down for grooming, and nails. No training or certifications required to work there. Aside from the fact the mother and daughter argued every single day, which probably made the dogs anxious, they would yell at the dogs to do what they wanted them to do.
