I wanted to come right this review and say a very special thank you to Sam from the barkery!! On only a couple days notice she was able to make our husky Blu who has a grain allergy his own very special ice cream birthday cake 💙 She was amazing from start to finish and I will definitely use them again very soon!! Thank you guys for all you do for our furry little babies!

Really pleasant and helpful lady showed me the baked goods section and patiently explained the flavors of each goodie I pointed at.I got 3 peanut butter bone cookies and 3 cheese & bacon cannolli's that were just adorable! They also had pupcakes that looked to have frosting.Human grade ingredients too!I know the dawgs will be Very happy with the treats! Definitely will return!

I don’t leave reviews often, but I felt like I finally had to for Leaps and Bones! Incredible, friendly and knowledgeable staff, the best products and food selection. My dog and I love coming here. They treat my dog like he’s family, and are always so excited to see him when we come in. I think I look just as forward to making trips to Leaps and Bones as my dog does! The whole Leaps and Bones crew is really the best and I’ll continue to be a customer of theirs for years to come! So glad we found this place. 😊

I can't say enough about this woman owned small business, well not so small anymore. These ladies are knowledgeable about all things pet related, offer high quality options for food and treats at appropriate pricing, and offer a wide variety of toys and accessories. Customer service has been outstanding since the inception of their first store, through COVID, and now with their third store, The Barkery. Their commitment to community and involvement in animal organizations is continuous. I love all of the option they offer and will continue to shop here.

Always helpful when I’ve been in and inquired about dog food in particular for my extremely picky dog. Even went through the Fromm loyalty/rewards program awhile back and made it so much easier. I also love that they work with small businesses- we have loved Willow and Maples since they first started their business and were so happy to hear they’d be working with you. During the pandemic/quarantine your support of small businesses, including mine, was also much appreciated when you promoted through Facebook/Instagram posts. So happy to hear you have expanded as well! My first dog is the reason I found you about 10 years ago now when I was looking for a birthday cake for her. The high quality products carried, which can be hard to easily find at other stores is unmatched and the additional options you made available to continue to provide quality pet food, etc to pet parents during quarantine did not go unnoticed, especially since you are a small business and it’s often harder to execute some things larger stores are more easily able to do. Definitely recommend for pup birthday cakes, high quality food, or if you just want to treat your pup to something special. Although prices at “specialty pet stores” can sometimes be higher (while still remaining reasonable), remember you’re supporting a small business and costs are different for them to keep their doors open. Definitely recommend Leaps & Bones!

Truly an amazing team of dog food experts, have been shopping at Leaps and Bones for over 3 years. But recently my dog has had increased allergies and had testing done. The associates went thru all the tests to help recommend the best dog food for my dog. Amazing, amazing, amazing customer service, highly recommend the store and the associates!

What a cute store to get some items for your four legged friends, we even found a birhday cake for our girl which she loved. Its a great size, and they decorate it for you. We also bought some pizza crust treats that our dogs have been going crazy for! We will definitely be coming back again soon!

It's a small store that has relocated closer to LL Bean.Covid-19 compliance- patrons and staff wear masks.Prices tend to be on the higher side but they do have a few unique products you won't find in the box stores. So those might be worth the higher price. Otherwise expect $$-$$$ for pricingWish they offered more unique products for sale since they seem like a specialty shop.Staff is pleasant and courteous.

Every time I go there, no matter who is working, I'm always greeted with a sincere smile and I receive excellent and professional help.Yes, it is a smaller store and they don't have as much in the way of options as one of the big-name stores, but they squash that concern with the fact that they only sell the top of the line products, with how educated they are about all of their products and how personable they are with each customer...you'll leave very happy each time you go!! I have never heard anybody say a negative comment about the place!!!

I stumbled in to this little gem of a store while killing time in Evergreen Walk. It's one of those places that you can speak with the owner and get awesome recommendations for your pup. They carry quality products and food, and you are "buying local". It will be my pet store in the future regardless of the distance from my house!

I've gotten my dog's birthday cakes from Leaps and Bones for the past 4 years (different flavors each time). They always look exactly as pictured with great handwriting on them. She's a picky eater and always loves them. I would reccomend to anyone looking for a great cake!

I pre-ordered and pre-paid for my dogs' first birthday cake. We had it today and it was extremely dry. I had specifically asked for a fresh cake! It was also the wrong flavor. Too bad for my pups. I won't be going back there.

1st time I visited. Wanted to get cookies for Christmas for the dogs. Found out that there really an all pet store not just cookies. Didn't really have time to shop that looked like they had a ton of stuff. Was really happy with the cookies I got for the dogs for Christmas

I've been looking for something specific for a while and to avoid another wasted trip I called ahead, though they didn't have what I was looking for McKenzie was soooo polite over the phone and stopped what she was doing to check for me. Great customer service each time I've been in also! Wonderful group of employees.

Great selection of products. Knowledgeable staff. They do tend to spend more time chatting with one customer than helping the rest so if you are not there to just buy something and go, try to go in when the store is not packed. Or else you'd have to wait for the staff to stop chatting with customers to help you.

Called Christmas Eve. Spoke to a young gentleman on the phone. I asked if he had a particular probiotic for my dog. Asked him to send me some pictures just because it’s 45 minutes away to make sure I was purchasing the right item and was not wasting my time is driving 45 minutes to the location. Told me he could not do it. Tell him to be rude and useless. I found this place to be really expensive. But sometimes you get what you pay for. All of their products are guaranteed if they break, they will replace them. They are the only toys my puppy cannot chew through. She's even chewed through kong toys. They are indestructible. My only complaint is I bought a glowing ball that had "luna" written on it because my dogs name is Luna. The writing came off within minutes, but my puppy absolutely loves the thing!!!

I went there today and the hostest was wonderful. I was able to get treats my picky dog loved. I will definitely be going back to Evergreen Way. Great service give that girl a raise. :). N FYI I don't work there I went in for the first time. N I would recommend it for any dog owner.

Absolutely LOVE this place! They carry FROMM dog food, they are knowledgeable and friendly! They have a dog food delivery service! Fantastic Prices! Cheaper than anywhere else I found even on line! Way to go!
